Being anatomically correct doesn't mean that it's an appealing design. Usually something has to be exaggerated or omitted to make a shape more readable and visually interesting.
i’m blown away by how you approach this **scary** anatomy topic making it so much more approachable, interesting, easy to follow, and a lot less grueling (especially for someone like me with a terribly short attention span). right to the point and every second is filled with useful information. invaluable tutorial, tysm!!!
I've been staring at your gorgeous art for so long on pinterest wondering who drew them so I feel really blessed that your channel finally made its way to me! Thank you very much for sharing :D
For the longest, I believed hands were super difficult and everything else was simple. I manage to understand hands faster than arms! Arms are complex, no matter how much I study...This helped a bit but then I'm lost again...
It works! Finally! I can draw hand muscles without making them look like tumors. Although it is still difficult to place the muscles 100% correctly, it is much better than what I was drawing before
Just wanted to thank you for simplifying the shapes and also showing how to locate the muscles in an easy to grasp way. A lot of courses out there overcomplicate it by showing too many muscles at once which can get confusing; this really helped clarify it in a simple way!
12:45 my jaw dropped when I saw this I’ve heard many times how’s the arm built like chains hanging together but I never understood how to implement this into drawing muscles. This is how. Tysm
These all look super good! The arm muscles always looked way too complicated for me to do but this video helps a lot. Also the fact that "just make it look like an arm" may sound silly but it's true that not everything needs to be anatomically correct! I hope to draw such amazing arms! Thank you for this tutorial!
This is phenomenal thank you, these are the secrets I feel the comic artist won't tell you on their tutorials because it totally gives away the secrets that make them great comic book artist. One word for you Maestro. More!!! Please.
The best video I have seen on the subject so far. You just made my life a whole lot easier. Been reading books and watching youtube videos about the forearm for some time now. I love the "line from the deltoid to where the arm bends" trick.
The interlocking was supper insightful. In my mind, I was like well. I was thinking what a great resource, but it only did the forearm and it would be really nice to have some reference for that tricep and bicep… the BAM 💥 you brought it full circle! Awesome video ❤
I wanted to let you know that your video on anatomy has been incredibly helpful to me. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into creating such a comprehensive and insightful resource. If possible, I would be thrilled to see more videos from you on other muscles. Your expertise and teaching style are truly invaluable, and I believe many other students like myself would benefit greatly from your content. Thank you again for all that you do!
This is so useful! I know arm anatomy pretty well but I struggled to remember the smaller details, and your simplification makes it so much easier! Thanks!
Love the videos! Just wondered if you could do an in depth video on arms raised/ armpits and how you draw the pects ,lats ,coracobrachialis connections etc ?
Thank you for your work! You have no idea how wonderful what you do is! I have been following artists and drawing tutorials for many years, I have never seen such wonderful tips, thank you! ♥
These tips are really so so helpful, im glad i clicked on the vid honestly TT Ill try these things when i actually have the time to do some anatomical studies TT im too busy with school at the moment but ill definitely come back to this vid once im done with all my tasks TT
I think this is the best breakdown of how to draw an arm that I could find on youtube. It makes so much sense now! Thank you! Would you be willing to do a video on how to simplify the leg?
I’ve loved your anatomy shortcut tips for a long time and I’m really happy you made a RUclips channel!!! Thank you for these great videos, they really do help a lot. 🥰
I have so much trouble with the brachioradialis even though I have a rough idea where it should be positioned on the arm in different poses, this video helps out so much!
The moment I saw and tried out that zigzag, things immediately click for me. Would definitely like to know how to draw the elbow next. And the hardest parts are the attachment points for all the muscles in the armpit, never really figured them out. Great video.
♦️ You don't know how much these videos help. You're artstyle is one of the artstyles I want to achieve. It's just very attractive and flowy and smooth. Simple and cute. But you can still create dynamic figures with it. I've looked a bit on your yt account but I can't see any other similar videos. I was actually gonna look for your how to do deltoids, chest, lats, abs (front body in general), and especially legs which I have no knowledge yet. I've been learning anatomy for head to waist from Proko for a year now, but I want to focus on the upper body first before advancing to the legs.
Thank you! And for sure, there are lots of things about just the upper body alone that I can cover in the future. I just started my RUclips channel about maybe a month ago, so I don't have many videos out yet. 😅🙏 But I'd like to get more specific about how to draw this and that eventually. Thanks for your support!
Tysmm im still a bit coundousd but probly bcz its night. I been trying to find vidos of this stlye bcz i always find litarly drawing it TO realistick and i finaly find my vid
Great video Between this and your layering torso video I understand so much! as a part two could you talk about how to connect the hand to the wrist I have trouble making that look "good" also a leg video would be nice i see you have some content on it on twitter but id like a more in depth view of how you construct it!
Thanks! I've actually had an idea about making a video about connecting hands to the wrist, but I think I'd just put that in together with a video about hands in general. I'd like to get to it eventually, for sure. And yes, certainly legs too.
Hi Emilio, thank for the instructive video well and simply explained....is there a chance you could do a foreshortening video of arms kinda similar to what you did here but elaborating more on foreshorteing on how the arm lays like when characters are throwing stuff fighting or flying...ho well you asked 😅
Thank so much for your art tutorial without you I'll never become a artist. thank you (i apologize for my bad English. i'm from the fun zone of europep if you know what i mean)
hey man, nice vid. as an amateur, i kind a learned alot. btw can u make a vid on how u draw a shoulder. as example, how u connect head neck and shoulder. thx
The best line ''trying to make it look correct rather than anatomically correct"
Man you are so cool

Suprisingly arms and most other parts of the body came easy to me cuz if ur into gym stuff you kinda learn what is what
