Not much of a ice surface. That rink looks like it was put together quickly for a single event. It has no glass and the way the boards are set up is ridiculous. The olympia driver had no idea how to drive the thing and missed a large spot and went back out to do it. Big mistake as he destroyed the boards and ice. Since it was set up quick the metal pieces go under the surface
It’s a temporary rink with coolant pipes in the ice and boards fixed to aluminium frames with legs buried in the ice. That rink could operate for years if not decades, assuming some idiot doesn’t crash an ice surfacing machine into the boards. It doesn’t need plexiglass panels if it’s for skating only.
Idk of its just slippery, but he shouldn’t be going that fast.
