Holy, this is brilliant! I have been trying to find somewhere to put a zamboni mini-game in the arcade hockey rpg I am working on called Hockey Heroes. Having all the players opt-in to the mini-game during intermission then giving a boost to whichever team wins could be dope! Great video, thanks! oh p.s. I was also at that cold, cold Winter Classic, nice memorabilia from it!
Love those retro hockey games! From Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey on the N64 to the NHL games from the early 00's, so fun. I have been developing an arcade hockey rpg based on those games called Hockey Heroes and I have been looking for somewhere to put a zamboni mini-game and didn't even realize this mode existed in 2K9, love that sports games used to try awesome fun stuff like that.
