Sorry about how awkward I am in this video. You guys know I’m not the best at doing videos like this but I wanted to let you guys know what has being going on recently. The treatment so far has being going REALLY well so hopefully it works.
I wear prosthetics I have no feet, I know how you feel, if your legs start to hurt u are screwed and it's horrible, I competed with you in trampolining, just to sat you are amazing xx
Do not be sorry! This is real life, and it is not always positive! This was a great video, because I have actually learned a few things from it! Keep up the awesome job! 😄
It was ok Isabelle Weall. I don't get easy grossed out. When come to sweat, blood and body fluids it all apart of being human. It was very interesting. Just don't watch the video of the ladies painting with blood.
You are the most incredible woman I've ever seen in my entire life, so much courage!! Don't give up , keep going and remember there'll always be people that supports u , even through a screen like in RUclips.
Physical Health is very closely linked to Mental health. You're a tough cookie Izzie but don't ever be afraid to ask for help. We all need it from time to time.
Showing that you are not always the pinnacle of strength and showing vulnerability is what shows your audience that you are a real person. Thank you for being authentic and sharing. If has to be quite frustrating. Praying that this helps resolve the issue at last.
I was hit by a car. While I wasn't hurt my fake leg was destroyed. When we sent the bill in to the insurance they flat refused to pay thinking I was committing fraud. They flat refused to believe that a prosthetic leg would cost as much as a car. It was a real pain getting them to pay.
Hi Izz, I’m so sorry you’re going thru this😩 I completely understand about wearing your legs instead of using my wheelchair. Ive used that ointment and it’s really good at clearly up my eczema on my stump. It is so frustrating trying to heal whilst wearing liners where you skin can’t breathe, I tried using a sweat sock under my liner to help speed healing, the sweat sock I use is: Hood Prosthetic sheath (trulife) which you can get on the nhs via orthoeurope just incase you’re prosthetist hasn’t heard of them. Wishing you a speedy recovery from your infection so you can not be in pain 🤗🤗🤗
I have found what soap I use to wash them matters a lot too. I used to use Bed Bath and Beyond foaming handsoap, but I got sick of them not selling it in bulk packaging, so I switched to Method, but I have to use the fragrance free because anything with perfume in it irritated my skin.
Legman688 that’s right too, I use Sanex Zero % ( 0% parabens, colorants, soap for sensitive skin) I’ve heard other ampies use hibiscrub(not sure if I’ve spelt that right) 🤗
Oh sweets I hate seeing you down. I hope that the ointment helps. Stay strong and know that we are all sending the best wishes possible for healing. So glad you shared this so others will know what can happen. Big hugs
Oh, Izzy, I am so sorry to hear you're having to deal with this. I know for me, I always think of wearing my prosthetic leg as the difference between being disabled vs. not. As long as I've got it on, I'm basically a fully functional human being, whereas if I'm stuck fumbling around on crutches I'm useless. When you refer to your legs as your independence, I get the impression that it's that same basic feeling. I don't think anyone who isn't a lower limb amputee can really understand how much a prosthetic leg that isn't working properly, whether it has a mechanical problem, or hurts to wear, can make one just HAAAAAATE life, no matter what else good they may have going on, and how depressing it is. I know I'm not your favorite person or anything but if I could send you hugs through the internet I totally would. You continue to be a remarkably tough, persevering and impressive young lady, and I admire your strength. I really hope the treatment works for you.
You kept the pain to yourself a long time. Independence is a strong trait in you. You had breakdowns you say, but it seems you're stronger now, more able to deal with misfortune. Stoic is a good word. I admire your change from mentally fragile child to strong young woman. Great things ahead for Izzy!
I know you are very critical of yourself, but I think you vlog well, you don't come across as fake like some do, I enjoyed listening to you talk. I hope do more like this, not about clothes or makeup or stuff, but just you talking about your life. Anecdotes about spending time with your friends, or how people treat you when you go shopping etc. Keep being you!
Isabelle, I pray a speedy and full recovery for you. You might benefit from researching the amputee forums for similar issues. Your condition seems a rare condition, eczema type in a weight bearing stump, it might take a bit to find the specialist that is familiar with this and they can be consulted by your Dermatologist for collaboration.
@@IsabelleWeallI'm a healthcare professional, and I tell all my special condition patients to become an expert on their condition and the expert on them. With your radiant, positive personality, you'll overcome hesitant barriers from healthcare professionals to get what is vital for your mobility. My daughter has epilepsy, thankfully outgrown after age 21, but as a teenager she became and expert and would offer suggestions to her providers. She's like you, very radiant and positive. Rather than meeting rejection, they welcomed her input and nearly always agreed, because her suggestions made sense.
Thank you for sharing, even though you are clearly uncomfortable sharing some of the details, you keep it as real and honest as possible and I have so much respect for you for doing that. Well done you should be very proud.
BTW you are a beautiful woman inside and out don’t fear what you want to fear about. Like you have said many times before you are yourself you can do whatever you want to do and don’t care what people say people are different and I love how you share about your disability and what you can do and show that you are like everybody else. Love your new hairstyle suits you too
You are the toughest person I know. So sorry you went through all of that pain. I suffer with arthritis and know what pain is. I pray for you to do much better.
Aditude is everything. This is the type of stuff you will have to go through the rest of your life. But you will have infinitely more good days than bad days. Try not to let this kind of thing get you down. To tell you the truth I believe that your inner stench will always carry you through this kind of thing. That being said, you have to give yourself permission to be sad, and angry. Just don’t get stuck there.
Aww sweet, don't be so down on yourself. Independence is so important and people like me take it for granted. It's ok to be upset and frustrated, you're not dramatic. Xxxx
Internet-diagnosis is a bad idea, I know... But if this helps, I will run the risk: I started having rashes like what you described (in a lot of places, including some that should not be described), and was diagnosed with... A fungal infection. Got some cream, it helped, stopped with the cream, back to square one. Eventually, many dermatologists later, one realised that it was psoriasis. Most psoriasis cases manifest themselves as dry skin flaking off and leaving a red, sore patch behind. My kind basically just has the top layer of skin die and fall of, leaving pretty much an open wound. That is why many of the dermatologists mistook it for exema. Main triggers are moisture and stress (...) Steroids keep it at bay, but thin the skin, so they must be used sparingly. Sorry for this ugly description, but if it can help you, I hope for forgiveness 😜
I love your accent your very beautiful and amazing I hope your legs get better soon. Also your make up looks amazing on you Everytime you put it on. Stay strong beautiful 💙
i'm sorry you're going through this, i hope the treatment works! i've only just come across your videos but i can't believe you're only 15, you seem so mature for your age!
You are so cute! You make me happy. I love hearing about your day, what’s happening and your humor and pronunciation of your medicine. Hang in there cutie! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are so brave to explain about this in the video Izzy. Bacterial infections are awful and painful with an open wound I hope you recover soon and get back on your legs a lot better without the pain soon
I really feel for you, having leg issues which will drastically affect your mobility. I was surprised it took them so long to get up to where you are with the ointment treatment. I was actually wondering if they would take you back in and operate on your stumps, but then might introduce another set of problems (and another set of castings?). I just imagined that after the first ops and healing time, that would the end. Only getting better from then on.
First. I love you. Second I'm sorry that you've got this frustration going on, but I feel that your that one person that will just get threw it, no matter the outcome. 😁
Please Isabelle- Care well for your mood and health! I (dont think) ever had a child /and you could be my daughter/ but I do care for your success and happyness as you were my own daughter - No disrespect to your folks! Life will bring setbacks-always have a little "Plan B" or backup or safety deposit to deal with them! You have more strength then I ever had but I still wish I could give you more from what I have left!
Hi Izzy thank you for sharing your story, it sounds very painful and i can-understand how frustrating it must be, hoping the cream continues to work. Keep up the good work, xx
Fexofenadine Allergy Relief works much better for me than just the Creams. I still use the dozens of Prescription and Over-the-Counter Creams, but I don't have to use as much. You are the strongest person I know. Good Luck ahead.
So sorry to hear this. You are so strong, you have to be so proud of yourself. I am studying to be a doctor and I hope I day I can help people like you and all people ❤️❤️❤️
I know it's easier said than done, but handling your life as an amputee sounds pretty badass to me. No matter what you do you should be proud and confident of any small achievement in your life! Sometimes asking friends or family what they think about you can boost your confidence as well. You're doing good!
As someone who's a student at UoN and lives basically next door to QMC (seriously, if you get the tram between the UoN and QMC stops, you could look in my bedroom window if you really wanted) - would you want people to say hi if they see you out and about, or would that be too awkward?
You seriously should be the next beauty guru, that video where you show how you do your makeup I was way more focused on what you were doing (especially the gorgeous eyeshadow) than how if that makes any sense lol.

Hey girl!!! I'm so sorry u r going through this. I'm just putting this here I don't know if it wil be useful to u or not. I used to wear like 2 inch heels all the time(I know that's huge) and walked long distances like 10 Km 4 times a week. I can't walk painlessly. The pain is not that horrible but it's still uncomfortable. I believe the prosthetics could be having the same effect on your legs. The remedy would be in my opinion to not walk a lot. You are an amazing person! Hope your new treatment is going to work. I was also thinking that it’s really important to work from the inside too, on getting proper vitamins and minerals. Spontaneously I would come up with a broad multi vitamin, zink, vitamin-C, B-vitamins, D3, fish oil/omega 3, MSM. There’s probably more. Google, watch RUclips and learn for yourself. It’s also possible to find a good homeopathic doctor to help you. Good Luck! Love from Sweden💖🙌🇸🇪

Great video beautiful!! I'm experiencing something very similar, with my stumps. It can be very frustrating.
If u can avoid walking some distances you should do so.
Sorry for your difficulties, you are blessed with beauty. My skin is allergic to Latex so I can't wear anything that contains it. I do use Cow Udder Cream with excellent results.
I’m so sorry you are going through this!! How do you get around if you aren't supposed to use your legs, do you own a wheelchair for that?
She's mentioned before about using a wheelchair. Wheelchairs are annoying though when you just want to be able to walk lol
JuMixBoox I’m not sure, but I think on the short leg stumps she has left she can (awkwardly) just about walk x
My legs (real ones) go to my knees so I can walk / shuffle indoors.

Hi!!! Unrelated comment from the video but I’m from the U.S. and I’m studying abroad in England this summer. I was just wondering if there were any places you’d recommend I go in the UK or things I should do? I love your channel!
Any where in London is cute x
A company called "Saturne" in Luxemburg...or a friend called Jan Zuyderduyn in Netherland may make you better one!
I take mometasone furoate too except I take is as a nasal spray for sinusitis
