I worked security for a major Hollywood studio and they told me to stop people from taking pictures of the studio from the public sidewalk. I told them it was a damn tourist attraction what did they expect. I didn't know the law at the time but even then I told them that I'm pretty sure people can take pictures of anything they want from the sidewalk. Well, my supervisor argued with me, I was labeled as being problematic and argumentative and a know it all. I eventually told the company that sure I would tell people to move along so they would stop bothering me. I needed the job at the time and it payed well. But I never told a single tourist they couldn't take pictures from the sidewalk. I just greeted them and said hi, pointed to the building and made hand gestures for the cameras.
This shows that you must never lift the finger off the button when protecting your rights. You must exercise them constantly and at every opportunity you get.

What seems obvious to me is that if they want 'trespassers' then they are under the same obligation as every property owner: define their real boundaries clearly, and posts signs. However, they do not post signs because their curtilage is fully approachable, and the boundary on their property is intentionally blurred with that of the public, making it appear as though they would almost like to be viewed as a public building- or similar authority. That's on them.

Well they are not taught anything or get any law education. They also only get about $10.00 a hour. Basically there job is to call the cops when they see something not right or check ID if a building requires it ect. But most have little or no real training.
