This is just frustrating. This is CITY HALL. It is the PEOPLE'S BUILDING. It is the very definition of a TRADITIONAL PUBLIC FORUM. But these _public servants_ act like it is their PRIVATE domain. They act as if it is reserved only for the ruling class of bureaucrats and politicians and OFF LIMITS to any smelly peasants who don't have their EXPRESS PERMISSION to be there.
The pandemic had a lot to do with fostering this attitude. Governments were given unprecedented POWER to tell the citizens to _stay out, stay away, stay apart, stay home, cover you face, make an appointment_ before asking to see your RULERS. And this is anathema to a free society. This idea that people are filthy and diseased is very dangerous. In 1930s Germany it was used as propaganda to justify what would become a program of mass murder. We tolerate this from our public officials at our peril. We risk our very democratic society.

As such, and in conjunction with a general lack of accountability for their actions, officers have very little incentive other than their personal integrity, to know or care about the law and Constitutional rights. Apparently, watching a number of this type of video, indicates that police departments prefer to have officers that show a lower sense of integrity to go along with their lower IQ. She thought that the city hall is a business...🤯 She was pretty condecending, wasn't really listening when he explained why he was there and wanted to act like he had some kind of mental problems or something "Maybe, you're going through something, maybe we can allow some assistance, you're saying you don't want any assistance?". "There is nothing going on you want to talk about" and just wanted to push him away to some bus stop or VA hospital and said that he wasn't allowed on the stairs. Sickening.
