Well, Karen, if someone is loitering inside a city hall or on the property & has no business being there, they can be asked to leave. Frauditors try to go into gov buildings *where there is no right to film* & harass employees & bystanders. Trespassing is a crime. Harassment is a crime. So is disrupting business. All places like city hall, post office, libraries, police stations, DMVs, etc. are either limited or nonpublic forums. There is no "right" to be at any of those places, let alone film inside. The only places we do have a right to film, solicit, protest, etc. is in traditional public forums such as a public sidewalk, public park or plaza, etc. I think that's why Jeff stays on the public sidewalk where he's allowed to be. Unfortunately he does hang out with scumbags who do all of the aforementioned things. & that sucks. “We’ve dealt with that before,” is a very telling response to a civil rights notice. Almost like they’re admitting to regularly violating people’s civil rights
Sounds like a Monell claim, where they're admitting to a pattern or practice whether official or unofficial where they do this thing regularly to violate people's rights.
Theyre cops and one of them is exceedingly ignorant and thinks theyre the authority on whats law. They probably do regularly violate their oaths to the constitution and betray the people theyre supposed to serve.
It is likely that they routinely violate rights and the reality is that there is almost always no penalty to the officer other than maybe a day suspension, which the cover by taking a sick day. These small towns have insurance that will pay any settlements brought against city employees, and that is where the money for any lawsuit comes from. Also, in these small towns, people are often completely ignorant of the fact that they can sue the police and city, or they don't have the money to do so and they are too small to get on the radar of the DOJ. When there is no real consequence, the behavior continues. When larger cities like Phoenix get investigated and enter into a consent decree, things typically improve considerably because now that the DOJ has proof that an officer knows the clearly established constitutional rights, if they violate them, having proof that they know better makes it easy to get a conviction under US 18 -242 and the cops know that, and they become much more careful because rather than getting sued, they can lose their license and go to jail. This rarely happens in small towns, but what does happen is if they mess up too much and get too many lawsuits, no insurance company will cover them, or the cost gets too high, and several small towns have had to disband their PD and make a contract with the county Sheriff to provide call coverage. This can cost a county as much as $250,000 per head that the Sheriff has to hire to meet the extra demand, but when all of the costs are factored in, it is usually no more expensive to have the Sheriff provide coverage than it is to run their own PD. The cost of running a PD is many times more than the cost of just the PD salaries. Cars, car maintenance, Car insurance, Car fuel, Radio, equipment, training expenses, Insurance policy, command staff, weapons and gear, and on and on and on.
Unfortunately, the police don't need to do anything. Which is why they have done exactly that, nothing. That's how they see it. The police have no need to know or understand the United States constitution to do their jobs. When a system exists that removes any and all personal accountability, consequence, or repercussions for ANY group of people breaking the law, the need for an improvement plan or course of action or redress for that group will never manifest.

Jeff, watching you on Veteran's Day really just drives the point home even more. You are a Patriot for all you have endured by withstanding all of the phony arrests and threats at the hand of power- hungry government over the years. I know it hasn't been easy and the sacrifice has been enormous. All of us viewers are really forever in your debt.
They didn't kiss a thing. When they found out he wasn't soliciting money, they let it go. They still delivered the unconstitutional ordnance standing by it. Had he dug his heels in, this would have gone another route.
It’s just a shame that in the 1st of 1st world countries education is such a 5th rate priority especially among law enforcement. Thank you Jeff and thank you everyone who has served and is serving.
In 1979 the USA ranked FIRST for Educating kids K-12; envy of the World. That's when Carter gifted the Teetsjer's Onion their 25,000 employee Department of Misundersdukasjon and now we're down to 27th. We're cranking out a ganeration f kompleat idjutz!
. In 1982, Ronald Reagan began cutting K-12 education and cut the budget for Federal subsidies to State, community Colleges and tech schools. Bush I continued the practice as funding was diverted to the DOD. Only problem was, we knew since 1974 the Soviet Union was failing. There was no need to cut education to balloon the most wasteful branch of government. After the cold war ended do you think that money was diverted back? NOPE. In fact the DOD'S budget is closing on 1 trillion ANNUALLY. And, most teachers have less than subsistence wages so good teachers don't stay in education..... BTW, thanks to Bush II's "No Child Left Behind" Civics left the cariculum decades ago.... Kids in Rhode Island sued to get it back about 4 years ago.

Wow, Jeff sure gets around. I think he needs to start making the rounds on national talk shows bringing to light this cause and to showcase the blatant incompetence of police officers with their lack of knowledge of the law and the constitution.
Kudos to you Jeff @HONORYOUROATH for remaining in honor. You clearly articulate to the officers what you're doing, what permits you to do it and what will happen if they attempt to stop you from doing it. And staying so calm while you do it. I tip my hat to you sir
Jeff go to flanklin TN, it's a wealthy community, they will probably treat you like a criminal. Thank you for what you do. God bless our homeless vets..
I have to be careful watching to many of these videos. Some of them make me so angry. Some are just downright disgusting and disgraceful. This one wasn't bad. Thank you for all you do Jeff and God bless homeless vets. Homeless anyone! It's a hard life that I wish would be looked at in a more important light. Homeless people, drug addicts, even ex addicts get treated like trash in this country.
Me, as well. I was homeless twice as a teenager, with my family. It's brutally difficult, and I had it much easier than most. I will never look at any homeless person with anything other than compassion, sympathy, and empathy for what ails them that I, personally, haven't been through.
I was homeless for a while after the police ripped me from the middle of my living room. They rushed in one second after I told them "No you cannot come in my home." Ripped my son and I apart. I lost everything because of a jealous vindictive LYING woman (I relate 100% on all the videos on narcissistic relationships) and hyper aggressive cops. I've been trying to get SSI/d. My entire life has been hard and this all happened when I thought life was finally starting to go pretty good. I see how much money police are given for military style weapons and equipment. The money spent to slaughter children in other countries. I served my country for 6 years honorably. The police kidnapped me (thought I was going to die), and the least they could do is approve my case. I wonder if I could still get the information from the night they kidnapped me? It happened at the end of 2018. I don't know how to do it nor do I have any money. It probably would have been a 5-10 million dollar settlement. It was crazy. It fked me up. Lost everything including family and friends in the blink of an eye.
Thanks for coming to my state of Tennessee, much appreciated! Although somewhat ignorant, I am glad to see you were treated well and nothing was escalated like I have seen in some other interactions. Most of my experience in Tennessee tells me so long as you are not disturbing the peace, folks will live and let live, to the point of turning the other cheek for things that do cross the line. Please keep making your way across Tennessee, and if you need a place to stay, let me know. Veterans are revered in TN. I think if your sign had a more left leaning message, like Ban All Guns, I fear you might have had a different interaction. I might suggest going to Fentress, Scott, Campbell, Pickett counties if you want to see less enlightened law enforcement (no blanket statement here, just from experience). I would love to do such an audit here in my hometown, but I am too well known and local authorities would let me do just about anything. God bless you and the Homeless Veterans. Former USN here.
I am sure the blue line gang has different rules for “outsiders” and also those ladies in city hall think they run the town and the police are their personal good squad

Jeff, if I ever run into you I will buy you a beer or two. Thank you for what you do and God bless OUR veterans.
Always doing the right thing Jeff, never stop man. Semper Fidelis and happy Veterans Day!

One minute there's a possibility jail, the next they were kissing some behind. You are the man Jeff
Your qualified immunity won’t survive
- Jeff gray
They didn't kiss a thing. When they found out he wasn't soliciting money, they let it go. They still delivered the unconstitutional ordnance standing by it. Had he dug his heels in, this would have gone another route.
God bless Jeff Gray and the homeless vets
Love seeing what you do Jeff. Thank you for your time and dedication to serving this county.
I lived in Tennessee for 20 years. Corrupt as it gets
Another one of those states that is governed by those guys with a R by their name.
@@dutchreagan3676im literally dumber for reading this
@@brad3706 Agree. Proper Civics classes needs to come back. Checked the curriculum of the 'government and civics' class at my closets school and it was a JOKE. One day of the year spent discussing civil rights, mostly Martin Luther King and how people are allowed to participate in peace marches.
Ordinance does not overrule state and federal law!
How bleeping hard is that for these small-town idjits to learn?
Thank you Jeff and to all veterans for your service. I truly appreciate it.
If a cop says theyre a "Vet" all i hear is Traitor. The "Vet" cops are almost always the absolute worst traitors and corrupt PoS of the entire criminal organization.
Thank you Jeff for everything you have done for our country. We would be in far worse shape if not for patriots like yourself.
@@sangertx9077 I was talking about him being a veteran as well as being a truck driver to supply this great country.
We are facing a police state. Actually, Jeff is. I have failed to face our country’s plight. I do consider myself as a ‘constitutionalist’ though. My cam always rolls, waiting for injustice to rear its ugly head
True. Because far too many Americans want a dictator daddy.
I love the way you tell them their qualified immunity won't survive a court case. They don't seem to really care because they know they can do whatever they want to you, they're armed, they have torture cuffs and all kinds of weapons and ego, that's enough to put you away. Thank you for doing what you're doing. As always jeff.
Torture cuffs 🙄
@@echo6echo419 I actually pilfered that saying from Deletz Law. But I'd say it's a pretty accurate description.
@@DougCanney1I'm well aware of where you got it, but you couldn't be farther off the mark. Again, torture cuffs, 🙄
@@echo6echo419 okay then, my apologies. I thought you were making sense.
@@DougCanney1 I was making sense. They aren't torture cuffs. Just stop...some people use them for s3x too. If they actually hurt, people wouldn't use them.
Thanks Jeff for all you do. Officer Carter was definitely uneducated on the law. But the second cop, got some information and came back. I’m glad they left you alone. God Bless The Homeless Vets. Happy Veterans Day🇺🇸
I love how they automatically think ur soliciting they don’t ask you they just go on with what was told them🤬 and thank you Jeff for your service
That’s called failure to conduct a proper investigation and in most departments will get you wrote up and suspended if they actually punished bad cops.
…..PD took no investigatory steps.
@@justlookingaround- IF, most (by far) do not.
I said he needs to dress more dirty and raggedy. Do more I don’t answer questions beyond stating what you are doing to squash any suspicion as well as adding a few you are free to go officers to trigger the ego. I bet these audits would be very different
Keep going Jeff; you only have about 687,000 more LEO's to educate. Good job; thank you for your service on this Veteran's Day. Thanks to all the Vets for your service and all still serving. I'm USN 5+ years.
It’s not just law enforcement that needs to be educated, but also the small-minded elected representatives who codify these unconstitutional measures.
How is this educaton? Every cop he encounters walks away not learning a thing. Needs to be done in a courtroom but Chicken Jeff runs at every threat of arrest.

@TheHippieatheart63 Actually, to be historically accurate , our "military" hasn't fought for Dreedom on American Soil since the War of 1812.
Before anyone asks, yes I served. I just don't make a big deal out of it because I learned that I wasn't doing anything for the American People. Our military only serves corporate interests.
why is it that anywhere within this country, police have no clue about our rights?
Plausible Deniability, there’s no money to be made in knowing.😂
Because they take a six week class that focuses more on take down methods and intimidation training.
They only hire dumb people.
Because their masters are not interested in training them for that. They are interested in training them to make the municipality money and keep things quiet.
They hire a type of person that would be willing to follow orders regardless. This is just the playing out on the street of the attack on the constitution
Thanks Jeff, your doing great work. Very impressive
Thank you great service to we the people
It’s against the law. Unless you pay our cut you can now magically do it
It’s almost as if it’s a mob of bureaucrats shaking down people.
Or unless it’s firefighters begging for money with their boots out in traffic.
@@flexiblephil3510 The difference is the firefighters aren't collecting for themselves, they are collecting for charity. The bureaucrats are looking to line their own pockets.

I was a little worried in the beginning also then they backtracked to a safer position but they still believe they can have an ordinance against asking for money. They need to learn they are wrong. Thank you for your service from the place Veterans Day started, Emporia, KS. ❤️👍🇺🇲
A lawsuit is still needed. These small towns need to realize they are putting people’s lives and freedom in peril with their crooked little ordinances and municipal courts.

Jeff. Seriously we need to understand that people with qualified stupidity can't be reasoned with using logic, laws and Supreme Court case law.

You are right, they make up their own rules and law then enforce them randomly. Sadly most people dont know the laws that are relevant to them for even the most basic Police confrontation.
@@holarndius How they force the meek to comply with unlawful orders knowing they face zero responsibility for it.
I wonder how many homeless vets are suffering in jail this weekend because of fascist lawmakers, jackbooted, racist policing and simply asking for some spare change or whatever. These terrorist, police/political lapdogs are a plague. What's worse is they they're ignorant of the constitution. Either by choice or apathy, both are equally shameful. Keep on keepin on Jeff!! Jeff Gray, a civil rights legend.
Spreading an amazing message and educating Americans on what it means to be American in the process. YOU'RE THE ANGEL!!!
He's the best at retraining cops who know nothing - except how to flex and lie.
He is a fraud of epic proportions. Are you seriously another of those people who can't see through that cheap cardboard sign moneymaking ploy of his?
Jeff go to flanklin TN, it's a wealthy community, they will probably treat you like a criminal. Thank you for what you do. God bless our homeless vets..
I have to be careful watching to many of these videos. Some of them make me so angry. Some are just downright disgusting and disgraceful. This one wasn't bad. Thank you for all you do Jeff and God bless homeless vets. Homeless anyone! It's a hard life that I wish would be looked at in a more important light. Homeless people, drug addicts, even ex addicts get treated like trash in this country.
I get angry too. You're not alone...😉
Me, as well.
I was homeless twice as a teenager, with my family.
It's brutally difficult, and I had it much easier than most.
I will never look at any homeless person with anything other than compassion, sympathy, and empathy for what ails them that I, personally, haven't been through.
I share your anger. Maybe that is what is needed though to wake us from our slumber. We have let tyranny creep way too long.
Same thing with me , it gets my blood pressure going
The COMMON SENSE and lack of proper Constitutional education, is prominently displayed HERE.
Why the "F" does it matter where he is from?
Are the laws different for residents of the city from those who are visiting?
I am sure the blue line gang has different rules for “outsiders” and also those ladies in city hall think they run the town and the police are their personal good squad
It is a ploy to assert their dominance over you by implying you must answer. This starts a cascade of further questions that, since you answered the first, will continue to answer.interrogation technique.
