    10/6/23 - Hattiesburg Mississippi. This is an HonorYourOath Civil Rights Investigation. Acting on nothing more than false reports and hearsay Officers with the City of Hattiesburg Mississippi violated my First Amendment protected rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly on a traditional public forum. There’s a lot of work to be done in Mississippi. Everyone has the right to petition the government for redress of grievances but I ask that you please do so in a polite, peaceful and constructive manner.

    Can't believe the second cop actually said "it's not hearsay if someone calls in and says you're causing a disturbance". That's literally the definition of hearsay.

    • @jonnybaze7449
      @jonnybaze7449 Год назад +14

      The definition of hearsay is second or more hand information. Typically when someone calls the police it goes to dispatch and then an officer, that would be hearsay. I believe she said she was calling someone directly if I’m not mistaken. If someone directly tells an officer an accusation of a crime and they find it credible it’s not hearsay and it’s probable cause to arrest.

When I asked what they would do about this miscarriage of justice, they all said that they would like my name and number to add to the list of people who had complained. I again asked them about the video showing this miscarriage of justice and all they did was ask for may name and number. I told them that I was a Good Citizen and a statement regarding this inappropriate activity is warrant. I was told by a representative of the Mayor's office that they were aware of the issue and would be preparing a statement. Let's see if these clowns down in Mississippi will do anything. None of the rights recognized and protected in the constitution are without limits. Mr. Nelson Haskin jr. Owns this restaurant and 3 others on Front St. He was Hattiesburgs Veteran of the year for 2022. Perhaps he doesn’t know about this treatment of his fellow Veteran by the folks running his business at Boubon On Front. Let’s hope that oath he took to uphold and protect the Constitution is still in his heart.

    Of course, the cop was ignorant of the laws and there is no excuse for that. If you’re going to enforce the laws, you should understand the laws you’re going to enforce and not just make it up based upon your reasoning and logic. Great job runs in the cops, forest terrible job. Hattiesburg illegally detained him Waveland, which was just a train wreck, and Ocean Springs was the same. All of those were law-enforcement officers, who don’t even know the basics of the constitution, and the laws in which they are in charge to enforce. I am sooo impressed at the guts you have displayed to hit all these towns in MS. One of the issues in MS is that the criminal code is almost incomprehensible. Heck, cursing in public is still listed as an offense, even though it has been ruled unconstitional. The state legislature is too lazy to fix it. Requirements to ID are nowhere to be found. Since the cops are barely literate, and do not care to learn anything new, they do what they feel like. The magistrates are as unknowledgeable as the cops.
