Very beautiful car, I have a 2003 and I'm doing my headlight assembly and fog light assembly tomorrow, I'll be posting up the video tomorrow. Great job
Great improvement! I have been working on two Camry 98 and 99. I am surprised the timing belt could last so long on yours as ours lasted 150K miles each. Other components I found need replacements for comfortable ride are literally anything rubber / joint / spring related: sway bar links / bushings, lower control arms, ball joints, and struts.
The struts on this particular car believe it or not were not leaking. I usually don’t replace struts until they start to leak. I did have to put a set of end links on this along with front sway bar bushings, but I unfortunately didn’t get photos of that when I did them. Ball joints and tie rod ends were still nice and tight along with front control arm bushings
I’m so jealous, I want to do this to my wife’s 2002 XLE! Looks amazing, can I ask how much you ended up investing into the car to get it fixed up like this?
I got the car for free, so I had no issue dumping some money into it. I also put new tires on the car (not in the video) body work was around 3000 with the bumpers. I’m a mechanic so I did all the labor on making the mechanical repairs so I probably put around 1000 in parts on the car including tires. Drove it for a year and sold for 4200
Is it possible if you could refer me to the shop that did your Camry I’m doing a project show car like vip style on my 02 and would love to see it shine like yours 💖
@@SEsGarage watched the video on mute but good video. just bought an 02 today at a car auction for $1250. it oughta be replacing my 98 with nearly 300k. bought the 02 with only 193k.

How many miles were on the car when you purchased it ?
Where did you get the bumpers? I’m looking to replace my stock bumper with fog lights too, as well as the back one.
Right on eBay. Shipped right to my house primed and ready for paint

I worked for a dealership at the time that had a body shop so I had them do it. They usually don’t do this kind of thing
@@SEsGarage thank you so much I guess let’s see what I can do lol
Play some Wiz Khalifa for your intro Toyota Camry me some good music do you know what I’m saying
Unfortunately I have to use the music that isn’t copyright protected otherwise they’ll remove the sound from the video
@@SEsGarage that’s right RUclips talks about copyright. True that
