I hope that each episode get 90 min like black mirror, so that the pacing is nice, ppl forget what op makes nice, not the fights it is the story itself and the adventure with the crew and there bound.

Humor, intresting charismatic funny characters first. If Luffy isnt likeable to the Normies, they wouldnt even be intrested on his journey or story at all.
100+ episodes squeezed into 8 what could go wrong. There’s no way each ep is going to be 90min the best we can hope for is 45min.
@@Anselm243, The anime is not the source material and is ridden with fillers, hence why it has this many episodes. 45 mins each episode is more than enough to adapt the manga.
@@billiejean1284 The East Blue Saga doesnt have that much filler less then 20 episodes. But I hope they somehow pull it off .
I wonder how long each episode going to be ? And who’s playing Rodger and Smoker? Those are huge characters in the story and one piece I’m so excited as a huge one piece fan

Im just gonna put this here since as far as smoker goes I have been wondering the same things and what I'm worried about is that they have a koby +Garp relationship replace a smoker + tashigi one so we can better follow Koby's growth as a character. not sure about Gol. D. Rodger tho for him and dragon considering how little screen time either is on it feels like they could just a some no body train them how to act and build them up.
@@GnatGames they 100% need loguetown as a setup to keep not one piece fans interested for a season 2..... You have a reconnect with buggy, meet smoker (an unbeatable villain and introduce overpowered devilfruits). meet a mysterious man dragon. And they should also reveal the garp --> luffy grandfather connection in the final episode to show that the story will get deeper. It also is the final stop before going to this hyped up grandline where everybody is heading for. ending at arlong would throw away so much potential for a good cliffhanger endings
@@GnatGames who knows, i just think this would lower the general ratings of season 1 and therefore lower the chances for a season 2. And i want season 2, Choppers backstory alone is better than most hollywood and netflix productions of the past 10 years
Episode 1. Maybe rogers death, Luffy, Shanks and cpt morgan
Episode 2. End of morgan, garp + Buggy
Episode 3. Buggy
Episode 4. Ussop
Episode 5. Baratie
Episode 6. Baratie + Arlong
Episode 7. Arlong
Episode 8. (Maybe arlong) + Loguetown
And then reveal the garp luffy connection in Episode 8. i think something like this might work. There isnt much happening in east blue and every Episode can be 60 min

Not all people on earth likes anime. Some people wants entertainment with real people in it. This is actually good since the One Piece will get more influenced to those who doesnt watch the anime show.

I can count on one hand how many live actions end up with good reviews. I think its high time we quit, and switch to making live movies cartoons or anime, at least give it a shot. I get not everyone likes it but NO ONE likes these.

1 hour episodes for sure. You can for sure squeeze it all. Trust me , one piece has already done this in their movies .
One piece has trash pacing ngl, you can definitely hit all the important stuff and get through east blue.
With what Netflix did with *Death Note,* *Cowboy Beebop,* *Bleach,* *Full Metal Alchemist* and *Resident Evil,* I have absolutely NO hope that they will be *One Piece* justice on Netflix.

Oda is not a TV show expert. His opinions will not reflect on how the show will do. A mangaka does not mean he's good at directing
Well he isn't directing the show, so don't worry about it. They have professional experienced directors for that. Oda is involved as an executive producer, and has influence over the scripts and many other things, but he doesn't direct anything.
He is a One Piece expert though.

Hmmmm.....Your video needs better updated Info, as Comparing it to a 2009 Movie DragonBall Evolution is nevet gonna Age well. As the movie is 13yrs old, And current year is 2022. You should be comparing to Recent adaptations you either didnt know exist or choose to ignore it. Like You didnt even bother Mention Recent Cowboy Bebop Failure SERIES or Current RESIDENT EVIL Failure SERIES both made for Netflix. And upcoming Amazon Prime Rings of Power, looks bleak in future.
All this Failure Series should at least be the very minimum skeptical about the One Piece live action. Regardless how great castining is, Great Set and Oda as Excutive Producer and Fan Matt Owens as show Runner, not saying its not possible to succeed but, its just very bleak age we are in right now where we dont have enuff Successful adaptations transit from Manga/Anime to Live Action, left alone Calling them decent.
Be positive hopefull yes. But a reality check, Netflic cancelled a lot of Series just after 1 Season. Also Current Netflix isnt at its best of its Year too.
