I really have so much respect for this very talented woman. I didn't know about her past. I love her honesty about everything. I love and appreciate her as an actor and activist. She is brilliant. I would love to spend a day talking to her about life. Thank you for this interview. I appreciate Glen even more. Child hood trauma. Many of us spend a lifetime trying to heal..Love & Light.
Interesting. I met her parents in the early 80s and was a guest in their home in Wyoming. My take on him was that he was definitely narcissist and spent hours telling me of his past experiences as a physician. Her mom was delightful, crazy about her dogs and seemed to be a bit of an anchor to the family. All in all they were delightful hosts.
@@PhoenixFeathersMy sister does the same to me and that's why I don't talk to her often. She just goes on and on and on about her life and I can see myself making excuses for her but I've had enough ! I already called her a narcissist to her face !
Awwww. So they kept a careful eye on all you young people because they didn’t want to send little Suzie home pregnant after several months on tour. Or with a drug or alcohol problem or worse. They promised to return her to her parents in good health and what’s wrong with that? My oldest brother was in UWP and has nothing but fond memories of that time. Glenn and he were friends at the time.
Her grandfather was married to Marjorie Merriweather Post's first husband, a physician from an upper class old family. Closes daughter looks like her father, John Stark a movie producer.

Glenn was a part of the Up with People cast. She was a good singer. Up with People was a positive group who traveled around the world bringing a message of caring and positive energy. This was definitely not a cult, cast members wanted to join and could leave anytime if desired.
They refer to a group (cult) called the Moral Rearmament. Are the groups associated? It sounds like they are talking about a religious group, not an acting troupe.
My parents were a big part of this same group (MRA). It was a very positive influence. The group was not a cult but based upon the four Absolute Moral Principles: Honesty, Purity, Integrity, and Love. Glenn’s family sadly had big problems. Nevertheless, she had a great/successful career.

He used you as his personal audience for hours, as narcissists do, and you found that ‘delightful’?

And maybe you should be quiet. You don’t know anything about her life or what she went through.
Moral Re-Armament is the name. Her truth. Shut up

You knew them well then? Intimately? Like family ? To know about their ‘problems’ …idiot
Also lumping one whole family into one whole entity of ‘problems’ is insane . Individuals within a family …idiot
Idiot is a very kind / light hearted word for what you are expressing which is actually destructive
And what has career got to do with trauma really ?
Also what is purity . Really …
