DSG & other Autos are more scary when they change gear mid-corner on their own! Even WORSE with a DSG is when you're flooring it and you have to hit the brakes right at the point it decides to change gear - you don't have that problem with a manual box!

The sound just after you change gear, it’s like an engine sound before any turbos kick in, it’s just perfection👌🏼👌🏼
because thats exactly what happens
That's the transient lag you hear. When you open the throttle body to change gears the boost pressure in the intake system is released and it takes a second for the turbo's to build up to full boost again, then you hear as the waste gates open when max boost is reached and at that moment the engines exhaust gas dumps straight out instead of going through the exhaust system. That's why there's a difference in sound haha
That little wobble of the exhaust note as it goes into gear🤤

Its Neck snapping fast now so I really cant imagine what his beast will be like after stage 4 build is done LOL 🤣🤣🚀🚀
911 Carreras and Turbos are hands down best bang for buck supercars. Nothing puts the power down like a Porsche.
Manual is where it's at 👍 My old MK4 Supra was a 6 speed with triple plate clutch. Loved it and will always regret selling it 😭

Manual 997 Turbo is my favourite 911. That's the one that got my serious love for Porsche Started.
Full respect to ES motors and it must have been an immense experience just being the passenger never mind having a drive.
Whenever I see a 911 turbo I know it's just gonna blow my mind and punch way above its weight even against its natural peirs !!
I’ve just bought a 996 Turbo and I’m planning to do a savage build like this. Hopefully going for a full track look too!

JAMIE, love these vids my G, I've always found it hard to comprehend the acceleration of these cars until you see another car alongside or behind and you the see how it pulls away for comparison, wonder if it could be an idea to have a camera car behind or alongside for some videos to show it in context to another car, I understand this isn't possible all of the time, just an idea.

Hands down Porches are still the best looking cars ever made, whatever year, i still have a place in my heart for the Clio v6, these 2 cars are just perfect.
I love YOUR Turbo S, and no doubt the PDK is absolutely perfect (plus you have plenty of manual cars to play with)... but man is it awesome to see the High power manual 911TT's. It's incredible Porsche was able to make them so damn reliable with massive HP/TQ and being AWD in a not-so-light car.

As great as double clutch auto boxes are that near seamless change up takes away the surge a manual box gives between gears . For me that’s the feeling I love of being pressed back as opposed to a near one gear linear pull.
