- There is a greater evil than just taking someone's life.. Here, I list my Top 5 Evil Necromancers in Skyrim. These are some of the most powerful characters in the Black Arts, and will likely be some of the hardest enemies you ever face. I also do other Top 5s, like Skyrim secrets. There are secret locations, even secret enemies and quests to be found. Which usually lead to weird theories.
Since I'm on PC, I love the Skyrim new mods. There are quest mods and follower mods that are outstanding. They make creating character builds, or looking for rare encounters, or the hardest bosses a lot more fun. Even finding sad deaths in some of the more disturbing locations.

the guy that traps you in a cage i killed him by using the ritual stone to resurrect all of his experiments so they could all finally rest know that the have brought about the death of their own torturerer (i just pickpocketed his key and walked off while the test subjects hacked him with axes and beat him to death) cause im a true daedric prince of the unseen, the unknowing, the unowned, and the unheard.

In the quest where there’s the trap in front of the treasure chest, I first didn’t realise it was a trap. But because I (literally) jumped on the chest, I went over the trap!!
I don’t clearly remember but I think the chest was empty or did not offer a good reward enough so I was like:
Hummmm... Yeah.... What next? Is the quest completed? What do I do?
Then I noticed the trap on the floor and I thought:
Oh, there it is! I guess I’m gonna have to fall in it and pretend I had not seen it...
Then I fall and the guy tells me I’m stupid cause I fell in his trap.

I remember fighting Potema for the first time. I ended up having to run away constantly. But then, Kharjo got stuck in a room with her. Then Kharjo killed her. He earned a sweet roll.

I was 7 when I bought skyrim, and the first necromancer i found was the one kidnapping women from dawnstar. Didn't play skyrim for years after that tramatic sight.

This is why Skyrim is better than Oblivion. The dungeons actually have a unique story to each of them rather than a copy and paste Aylied ruin. Of course not every dungeon in Oblivion was the same. But very little of them are unique. In Skyrim , Almost every dungeon has a unique twist to it.
Thomas Whitfield I think the main questline is definitely better in Oblivion but not much else. There was also some very well written side quests too like the one where you go in the painting or that guy's nightmares. Also I know they say "quality over quantity" but I feel like Skyrim had many more side quests so it allows for more adventure. I just think you can do so much more for a lot longer and that's what makes me play Skyrim more than Oblivion. Also, I did play Oblivion first.

Damn, I didn't know about #2. Anyway, your #1 is definitely on point. I remember first seeing loading tips about the Wolf Queen, then I found some books and read them, then I realized she may not be quite dead yet, and then I finally got the quest for her. She may not be as twisted and perverted as the other characters you mentioned, but she is definitely the most evil and deserves that #1 spot.
Tip: if you're a fighter type, do Meridia's quest before going for the Wolf Queen. The sword helps a lot.
Personally I would have ranked Malkoran higher than Luah, though that may be just because of how many times I was killed by him the first time I played Skyrim. Despite playing as a Nord... on Novice difficulty. Freaking Ice Storm.
But yeah, Potema deserves that number 1 spot.
But Arondil is certainly the sickest and most depraved.

I encountered sild the warlock on a companions quest, despite being a master level lock on the cage i got it first try and I was just dumbfounded, sild the fucboi needs better locks. 😂

Necromancy is the greatest way to play! Get Conjuration 100, then the Dead Thrall spell from Phinis Gestor at the Academy (the quest for which will also unlock the Atronach Forge) and revive those you have fallen without them turning into ashes after a few minutes. With Dead Thrall, your undead thralls live until they are struck down, but they also don't burn to ashes afterwards.
In fact, I have Emperor Titus Mede II. as my constant dead follower.
(Doesn't work if you behead him, though)

I remember in this one dungeon there's a guy who hates necromancy because he wants his family and his ancestors to rest in peace, so at the final boss room (where you fight the necormancer) I just used the ritual stone to gather an army of draugr and he didn't even care lol

When I fell into the trap and got locked in the cage, I used a conjuration spell on Sild’s Assistant because I wanted him to attack Sild. To my surprise when he got up he ran to unlock the door and set me free. Don’t know if it was due to some mod or if it’s game default, but I loved it

In all technicality, necromancy isn't really bringing anyone back to life, but they are only animating the dead, still dead, just undead, BUT still dead.

Honestly the worst necromancer is the chicken necromancer. He's raising these totally savory and delicious snacks from the dead just to wander aimlessly rather than putting their delicious and nutritious meat to good use. It's a travesty! :p (In all honesty I hate the woman-killing, necrophiliac guy. He disgusts me.)

I have never fallen down the trap door in Rannveig's Fast without meaning to. First time I approached the Word Wall, it was after thoroughly exploring the room for any stray burial urns. (because if there's a septim, it has to be mine. Doesn't matter that i literally have more gold than I know what to do with. I need that 5 gold.) That meant I came at it, not from the front all nice and paved for me, but from the side. There's terrible loot in that chest. I got my word of power, I kept going. I don't remember if there's another way in for sure, but I'm pretty sure you can just go through the dungeon and find Sild the Warlock staring at the empty cage or at a work station. I know at a certain play through, I just cut the nonsense and dropped right in because it was faster.
The most evil necromancer is the unholy one who keeps putting those dastardly barrels back!

There used to be a glitch were if you pick up dawnbreaker before defeating malcaran, it will appear again after you kill him and get two dawn breakers

Honestly I think potema? I think that's close enough is the worst but the tortureing and the rasing from the dead was pretty twisted
One of my favourite moments in all of Skyrim was when Potema used the first word of Unrelenting Force on me (she's Dragonborn as well if I remember right). I was like "Lol bitch ur a noob" and used all three words. I sent her crashing straight back into her chair and she nearly did a flip.

Whenever I encounter a necromancer committing evil to raise a lover, I make it a point to soul trap them so they don't get their wish
