That’s where I did my PPL and hour building! What an epic recreation, it looks so good and just watching your overview brought back so many happy memories! Thanks for making 😊
Yeah this brought back memories me granddad use to bring me here in the early 80,s there was like a climbing frame I use to sit on watch planes go out and couple come In 😊
BBD bring another beautiful airport to the sim with crispy details. Another quickbuy from office today. Airfield hopping in the UK is in VFR the best you can do. Rob - love always your style of doing your flight job and the storytelling in your videos.
Another stunning airport from BBD, it was a pleasure to be on board with you in the Tiger Moth.. I love the art of your Reviews and your fantastic channel. Greeting from Berlin
Lovely video mate. What better way to showcase and Review Fenland than in a Moth. Beautiful aircraft and airfield. Burning Blue designs are creeping north so hopefully more for the 'north' are in the pipeline! 🤞
@@Dreamsofwings Definately! Or even Kirkbride! There’s a growing aviation community there and what a location! Anyways, enjoying the videos mate and your take on the locations, scenery and aircraft thank you 👍
@@Dreamsofwings Yes its only a short hop west from EGNC and closer to the coast + solway firth so ideal location. Popular with Gyro Planes and a growing community of light aircraft in the real world. Military helo traffic sometimes stop for refuelling too 😊
My goodness, Burning Blue Design know how to craft an appealing airfield. The Tiger Moth looks great as well. I remember your tutorial on the compass. Thank you for this. I think you’ve cost me two more purchases soon! Excellent film work!
Really nice airport and video. The Ant's Tiger Moth is really beatiful. Even in real life grass airports are hard to find. For this reason I always study the landscape on maps before every RL flight.
Honestly not anything ground breaking to tell you. Traditional review flights aren’t my thing but discovering new scenery is always a joy. RUclips is awash with review videos in flightsim since MSFS launched and there are some excellent tubers leading the field. Most importantly do what you enjoy and not what you think you should do. Your cinematic videos that you do for BB are excellent and you have an eye for cinematography.
@@Dreamsofwings thanks for the kind words. Yeah very true about reviews and I’m the same about them and I kind of view it as if I would watch my review but combing a flight aswell makes it a lot more appealing imo
I know your always looking for video idea's. What about some Caribbean Island hopping? Beautiful scenery and challenging approaches. Places like St. Barth's and Saint Barthélemy.
Nice video, I think I'll add Fenland to my collection. Now: I know you must have the ear of BBD, could you whisper in it that in the UK it is not allowed to crop the ears or dock the rails of dogs. That includes Dobermanns. That's my gripe with BBD over. 😃
Thanks Ron. The Dobermanns depicted in BBD scenery are actually rescue dogs and the chap holding them works for lincsdobermannrescue.co.uk they are featured at each airport.
Nice vid very interesting airfield....what go pro/ vid do you use to record out of aircraft shots please. Wish BB would do Clacton where I got my ppl and imc ratings lovely airfield
I last flew into Fenland in September. Plan was to tour north from Essex, but an ignition issue turned us around early. The level of detail is fabulous. The booking in desk has a wooden box to put envelopes with landing fees in, the bar area has all the PPL award plaques, the benches and signs in and outside are all spot on. I've only ever landed or taken off from runway 26LH at 670m long it's fine for many types. For full realism why not demo an overhead join, land, taxi in and pop into the cafe for a hot chocolate and a cake 😉🎂☕. I wonder what BBD will go for next?
Ah that is really great you can recognise the detail! I do love how they bring these places to life. Solent is next I believe, looking forward to that one too!
@@Dreamsofwings not flown there, but Little Gransden and Popham are also very accurate. I flew out of Popham in 2019/2020. My last out and back from there was to Little Gransden in fact. Have you flown from Saint Crepin in France? Also now available on the sim buying page. It's excellent for detail too, plus the scenery for gliding and GA is fabulous.
@@markzzzz741 funnily enough just getting into flying in France now that I am doing more VA work in a King Air. Thanks for the tip, just checked the map and that looks a great location!
Thanks! I guess to lower the turbulence you’d have to change the weather. Lower ground temperature, lower wind should give you less turbulence. I have seen the Spit behave strangely at low altitude since this update too
Great video. Audio of voice once in tiger moth was not good compared to start. Are you using Rex or Bijan season trees? :-) BBD makes the best UK airports love them also. Beta tested this one :-) Rex is the answer I read lower in answer :-)
Thanks very much. Yes audio once in the aircraft is deliberately altered to make it sound like it is coming through the intercom in the aircraft. Been using it for a few years in videos and generally it goes down well. In fact this is only the second time someone has commented negatively about it but always good to get feedback. I have toned it down a bit compared to what it was originally like.

Ah fantastic! Good to know it is as realistic as it feels! Many thanks!
Where did you get the opportunity to fly the Tiger Moth?

fantastic!
Amazing showcase of both scenery and aircraft. Great video mate, I really enjoyed this
Thank you sir! Coming from you that means a lot 🍻

Great! Beautiful autumn colours - lovely lighting.
thanks! Rex Simulations Accuseason really makes a difference to the feeling of seasons. Only had it a week or so and what a difference it makes.

Hey thanks so much and glad you enjoyed! It’s a lovely little aerodrome! Hope you have fun with it!
I love this airport. I use it as a destination when flying over from the Netherlands. The chair shape is how I find it.
Great spot isn’t it!

Cheers Charlie, will be watching on catch up at some point and looking forward it.

How would you use the P8 compass to navigate on this plane that doesn't have the normal compass like the spiritfire in the video?
oh it would work in the same way.
Hi mate not been flying eith u guys for awhile computer malfunction.
I've forgot what MP server you use when group flying. Could you advise please
Hey hope all is good with you! It's usually Western Europe and people post flights on the Discord
wait am I seeing Fall trees?
yes! courtesy of Rex AccuSeason, one of the best purchases I have made in this sim.
