    BBD bring another beautiful airport to the sim with crispy details. Another quickbuy from office today. Airfield hopping in the UK is in VFR the best you can do. Rob - love always your style of doing your flight job and the storytelling in your videos.

    Really nice airport and video. The Ant's Tiger Moth is really beatiful. Even in real life grass airports are hard to find. For this reason I always study the landscape on maps before every RL flight.

      @@Dreamsofwings do you have any tips for creating these sorts of videos [review flights]? I always like some tips :)

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  Год назад

      Honestly not anything ground breaking to tell you. Traditional review flights aren’t my thing but discovering new scenery is always a joy. RUclips is awash with review videos in flightsim since MSFS launched and there are some excellent tubers leading the field. Most importantly do what you enjoy and not what you think you should do. Your cinematic videos that you do for BB are excellent and you have an eye for cinematography.

      @@Dreamsofwings thanks for the kind words. Yeah very true about reviews and I’m the same about them and I kind of view it as if I would watch my review but combing a flight aswell makes it a lot more appealing imo

    Nice video, I think I'll add Fenland to my collection. Now: I know you must have the ear of BBD, could you whisper in it that in the UK it is not allowed to crop the ears or dock the rails of dogs. That includes Dobermanns. That's my gripe with BBD over. 😃

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  Год назад

      Thanks Ron. The Dobermanns depicted in BBD scenery are actually rescue dogs and the chap holding them works for lincsdobermannrescue.co.uk they are featured at each airport.

    I last flew into Fenland in September. Plan was to tour north from Essex, but an ignition issue turned us around early. The level of detail is fabulous. The booking in desk has a wooden box to put envelopes with landing fees in, the bar area has all the PPL award plaques, the benches and signs in and outside are all spot on. I've only ever landed or taken off from runway 26LH at 670m long it's fine for many types. For full realism why not demo an overhead join, land, taxi in and pop into the cafe for a hot chocolate and a cake 😉🎂☕. I wonder what BBD will go for next?

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  Год назад

      Ah that is really great you can recognise the detail! I do love how they bring these places to life. Solent is next I believe, looking forward to that one too!

Have you flown from Saint Crepin in France? Also now available on the sim buying page. It's excellent for detail too, plus the scenery for gliding and GA is fabulous.

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  Год назад

      Thanks! I guess to lower the turbulence you’d have to change the weather. Lower ground temperature, lower wind should give you less turbulence. I have seen the Spit behave strangely at low altitude since this update too

    Great video. Audio of voice once in tiger moth was not good compared to start. Are you using Rex or Bijan season trees? :-) BBD makes the best UK airports love them also. Beta tested this one :-) Rex is the answer I read lower in answer :-)

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  Год назад +1

      Thanks very much. Yes audio once in the aircraft is deliberately altered to make it sound like it is coming through the intercom in the aircraft. Been using it for a few years in videos and generally it goes down well. In fact this is only the second time someone has commented negatively about it but always good to get feedback. I have toned it down a bit compared to what it was originally like.
