Big thanks to Burning Blue Design for giving me the opportunity to fly their latest release. I do love the kind of airfield they produce, perfect for my sort of flying and beautifully detailed scenery with plenty of atmosphere and character.
In this trip we take a look around Denham Aerodrome before heading off to Popham via White Waltham, two of the other airfields Burning Blue have produced for this sim and all excellent work!
Our aircraft today is the FlyingIron Simulations Spitfire LF Mk IXc in the livery of Spitfires.com RR232 City of Exeter

I found out you can turn the mixture and the propellor pitch down to 70% once you've taken off and that helps with engine damage.
Yes you should always cut back after take off in the Spit

@@Dreamsofwings I've been using it as home base in MSFS since it came out, but this will be a lovely upgrade. At least until they build the HS2 viaduct on final.

Lovely flight, for the scenery to not rate a mention when Popham airfield watched your video it must be pretty good, they seem to have just taken it for granted. Yes yes that's Popham, now about the flying ...

i love scenery like this and what it brings to the sim. i had a fantastic flight the other day in the 310 and landed at girona (default). after such a good flight it was really jarring. the whole place was lifeless and there wasn’t another aircraft moving at all.
Yeah it makes a big difference, to me anyway, that an airfield feels real and has life to it. Love that 310 by the way, very nearly used ir for this video but got Spitfired up again lol

Really nice airfields that of BBD. It is also interessant that, contrariously from most developer, they are un an area not too far away from the others, that is ideal for a typical VFR flight.

Great video as per usual... Just a thought on another subject.. I can not do this idea as my computer skills are not that high.. I just wondered, when you fly around and see names/aircraft as you fly around...Would it not be great to see where people have come from. i.e a list with your ident name and where you live is on a list .. If it costs say 20p to register then the money made could go to Ukraine fund for example. Its just a crazy thought ?
