It makes me happy that someone, besides me, showed that movie some love. It would've been fun if they had an animated series, at least to tie up loose ends.
I was lucky enough to snag that Limited 4K boxset when it came out - except that Sony screwed the pooch with the execution. In mine they messed up the discs - I had 2 4K discs of Ghostbusters II and no 4K disc of the original. Rather than wait for Sony to issue a replacement program, I was able to swap with someone who had 2 original Ghostbusters 4K discs. Still the only way to get 1 & 2 with Dolby Vision, sadly. Figured Sony would have addressed that by now.
I have the Criterion CAV laserdisc and it's rotted on all sides. The bonus material was kind of a letdown as well, should have had more deleted scenes and making of.
I also enjoyed the Answer the Call film, I'm sad there won't be a sequel.
I also enjoy 1975 live action The Ghost Busters. This was a lovely video!
Thanks for watching! I’m one of Answer the Call’s biggest fans, I still have the action figures from that one.

Best movie ever made.
💯
I wonder who came up with making a box for movies where there's a hole in the bottom for it to fall out of.
