Thanks for showing how is done. Only one thing, as far as i know at min 1:42 when you put the cap there is a rubber seal that should be placed first to avoid leaking. I don't know if you missed that or it was beneath the cap.
@@CyclingNeko Great ;) I have the same kind of breaks in my Scott Scale 30. The right one suddenly started to feel very loose and i had no break, unless i pump it several times. Opened it up to check if there was missing mineral oil. In fact there was enough but it was a bit dirty. Put some other oil and tried remove some air but just a small improvement. i think i have to bleed it as you shown.
@@Emis333 If you decided to bleed yours, make sure if there are no trapped air bubbles inside your caliper. Because this is probably the most difficult thing to remove the trapped air from the brake caliper. Be sure to check your brake pad and rotor too. I actually got this problem too, for my case the culprit is my brake pad. I loose brake when in dry, but if it wet (the brake pads), it will bite my rotor very well. Kinda confused why it can brake well in wet condition but not in dry... :D
Yes, it does have. Since this is XT line up, you can adjust the reach without using an allen wrench, you can using the knob. You can see the knob located in front of the lever pivot point, at 5:16
@@tseielsolano2944 New model? You mean the 800 series and 8000 series? I don't know, You have to measure byyourself. The original bolt of M775 reservoir cap is a phillips head, And it need JIS screwdriver or you will strip the head. So I change it into allen head.

The rubber seal is attached beneath the cap already. That is why you don't see it.

Finally i bleed it today. Used two syringes one to push the new oil and another one to remove the dirty oil from collector. Break feels like new :)
