I do on one of my bikes. I was surprised as it's a 2013 bike.

Wow, that's sort of crazy... The only thing the video leaves out is that you should remove the pads and take the wheel out before you start. Mineral oil on the braking surface can ruin it. Also, it's much easier if you can get the bleed syringe -- you waste less fluid. :)

Thanks, I used a syringe and it bloody spilled some of me mineral oil lol but its working perfect now ;) first time I'm using hydraulic disk brakes (shimano) and I'm excited :D

We haven't bleed the avid CODE brakes, maybe in the future. To bleed this brakes you need a bleeding kit specific for Avid.
