I am 57 and I feel the same as if I would have gone to that concert.... Rock is ageless and timeless...... I feel sorry for those who don't feel that way !!!
Yeah man, I’m 59 , not I’m my alleged mind, my body does though! I could have gone to that concert, but I would not have survived the heat! Just still awesome to see this vid for I can still rock it out! Keeps me from going insane, I think?
Man, all these people, especially young people nowadays, who don't listen to rock and metal, they are missing so much! I know something about it, because I'm 33. Music that people at my age and younger listen to is worse than horrible.
@@mariuszw9665 if they don't like rock and metal then they're not missing anything. and they might say the same about you, that you're "missing so much" from not listening to what they do. I don't know why metal fans worry so much about other people not liking metal, instead of simply enjoying it
Saw Priest on this tour at Hammersmith Odeon in 83. 😊👍. They were absolutely brilliant. What a show, Halfords voice was off the scale. Great memories. I was 19 years old. Great days. 👍👍
I’m 59 years old old geezer, I could have attended the US Festival in 1983, but I wasn’t invited, I’m glad that I didn’t go, I would have died from heat exhaustion, drinking beer and booze all day in that intense heat, I was stationed @ George AFB in 1983. Anyway, yeah, I’m getting older but I still love this video with Priest and Company, rocking it out! I’m a weird middle aged dude with my Mind not feeling 59, but below my neck I certainly feel my age! Rock on man!
These guys were my first ever concert !! While I was in the service in Germany, in the. 80s, opening band was Saxon, and he did ride out on a Harley and started with "Hell Bent for Leather" Great Concert !! 🤘
Saw them on the Ram it Down tour. One of the loudest shows I've ever been to. My best friend and I could hardly hear each other after the concert for almost a half an hour. Our ears were toast! It was one hell of a show though.
I bought a Tshirt at this tour in 1983. My god they rocked. I couldn't hear for days. Tickets for the concert was 10 dollars. Wishing I could go back in time.
Over the top amazing. A sea of humans enjoying this concert, in insufferable conditions standing for hours, no water, no shade, and just having an incredible experience.
I think the majority of Priest lovers are taken in by Halfords infectious vocals. He captivates with every scream or high note that is definitely not in falsetto. ❤
Completely agree with you except for the falsetto part. It definitely is falsetto. It's just that he can (or could) seamlessly transition into falsetto.
Here he is actually singing; the next years it would be only screaming. Geoff Tate was and is a whole lot better ! Sw them both live recently, but Tate tastes better😏
🤔Bruce Dickinson???? 🤣 *DIO, King Diamond, Ian Gillian,Graham Bonett, Wendy O Williams, Leather Leonor, Bon Scott, Klaus Meine,David Vincent, David Coverdale, Michael Kiske and more togethe with MetalGod* ⚡🔥
Bruce isn't into blue oyster bars and meeting strangers in public restrooms, he is just a metal singer. Rob isn't even in the same class as Bruce. Not even close.
Thank you for whomever had the foresight to film this and in spectacular audio quality. I was only 12 when this happened and only heard about this concert... now like a lot of metal music lovers, we can experience it.
I love rock and roll and so I really appreciate the passion and energy these guys put out there! Great performance from everyone in the band, powerful lyrics, and SUPER FUN to watch! So fabulously theatrical, it gives me chills. ❤😎🎧
Saw these guys live September 24th I’m almost 20 in December BEST NIGHT OF MY FUCKING LIFE I’m a metal head smoking grass and listening to metal FUCK YEAH🍃💨🤘🏼
Saw them with Dokken May 16, 1986 at the Cal Expo Amphitheater. Amazing to see Halford drive onto the stage and hear the well tune Harley. An awesome concert!

I saw them same year (2-2-83 in Des Moines). Big snow storm that night and we got stuck in the snow many times. Finally made it there -- my ears were never the same! Loudest concert I have ever heard, including Van Halen at the same venue. Rob is cool and I'll always dig JP. They were my Metallica back in the 80s before I knew who Metallica was (unfortunately)!
I’ve heard Glenn all these years but didn’t really pay attention. Now I’ve gone back and agree - he is one of the top metal players of all time. No wasted notes, finger tap BS or trying to be Paganini - just the solos you never forget.
Me too 😂 I probably did about fifty sixty concerts back then priest three times, bon Jovi three times kiss three, rat, did heart, REO Speedwagon, I hit up Whitney Houston, Joan Jett, motley Crue, Van Halen, Tom Petty, Ozzy Osbourne 😂😂😂 wish I could go back, I'd stay😂
I got the pleasure of seeing Judas Priest in Concert with Cinderella back in 1989 on their Ram It Down & Cinderella Long Cold Winter tour in Hampton Virginia!! The greatest show I have ever seen

All these young people are now senior citizens in their 60's and 70's. I was 22 now I'm 62. I'm glad I got to rock through the 1970s and 1980s.
WRONG I was there, and I am 56 genius!
@MichaelSmith-jb5md You think you are not old??? What is wrong with getting older?? Whether you like it or not you are older than dirt.
At 59 like me you lived it or would you trade it for youth and be into Justin the f*cking beaver or whatever he's called.

They did put on one hell of a show! 🤘🏼
What a performance ! 😮

Believe me that Harley was loud as FUCK
