      @@martonburak5671 yes and this is instructed by a rep from steelseries. Just go to your ps5 settings and adjust volume to max (I put near max) level. You can now adjust headset volume to as loud as you want and trust me it can get pretty loud. Btw I would not recommend any of the DAC presets. I really had to take the time to make my own configuration but it was worth it. My custom preset outshines all the Steelseries ones by far

    I have ran them with the hdmi adapter and without the sound is pretty much the same to me. Might even be better without the adapter. But would say make sure your chat mix is all the way to the game sound and enable 7.1 surround sound. I would also adjust the EQ as well as for me at least hook up the DAC to the computer and enable bass boost to high and I have the vocal boost to low that’s just my preference.. But it should help for me different games sound louder than others such as modern warfare it’s very loud.. I suggest looking at the audio settings in each game as well

    have you tried adjusting the EQ in the Arctis Engine software? i have Arctis 1 Wireless and i had the same issue. when i plug into the aux port using my 3.5mm jack and the sound is flat and using Sony sound settings or eq. but when i switch to wireless, where my custom EQ settings are saved, it sounds much louder that my volume dial is half way versus all the way up on the aux port.

    I have mine set to PS4, as that what Steel Series says to have it at, till a new update comes out. All that update will do is just add PS5 wording to the transmitter box. Other than that, I have a custom EQ goin, and it sounds great. I'll be the first to say it isn't AS loud as it was on the PS4 but I think that is because of the 3D audio doin it's thing. I've considered testing putting the optical audio cable straight to my tv, to see if it would do anything, but I think it would also negate the 3D audio and internal system chat mix. I kinda wish Steel Series would just put up a how to video, in case something needs to be tweaked

    I'm glad its not only me, lol. I hooked up optical to tv and RUclips and everything else on PS5 sounds great, but when I load up warzone, game still sounds like trash. Don't get me wrong its loud but sounds sloppy even when I adjust via equalizer. What is everyone using? Are you leaving 7.1 on and what do you suggest for that Bass Enhancement and Dialogue enhancement? I noticed when I hooked up optical to tv I lost the 3D sound. I purchased a optical adapter so will see if that helps out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I use the astro A50's on my Xbox series X and they sound great without the optical cable. Hopefully these expensive ass headsets get a update sooner than later!

    Dude, if you buy a usb switch (I got the ugreen 2 port one) you can plug the box into both the ps5 (usb at the back works) and your pc so you can use the headset and mic on both systems! All you then have to do is switch between pc and ps5 on the headset depending on which you are using. 3D audio on ps5 also works this way. Just make sure you update the new firmware first to get the ps5 option for the headset.

      @Jc50gt 2 года назад +1

      @@JayTen you need to leave it on ps5 setting (headset got an update so it says ps5 now instead of ps4). The headset comes with an optical cable in the box. The reason you leave it on ps5 setting is because the receiver still needs to be plugged into the back of your ps5 so you can use the chat functions of the headset. The receiver that is now plugged into your ps5 will use the included digital optical cable to plug into the back of the receiver and the other end into the back of your tv.
      Bonus: if you dont plug the receiver into the back of your ps5, you can plug the receiver into the wall (i have an extension chord to reach) and plug the digital optical cable into the back of the receiver and the other end into the back of your tv to listen to any audio coming out of the tv. Example, you can be watching your cable providers tv content and listening to their audio through the headset….basically ANY and i mean ANY audio coming out of the tv you will be able to listen through the headset if you set up this way (and the game console does not need to be on for that to work).
      Thats how i have mine setup so it can work with my Series X as well. I wanted one headset for my ps5 and Series X. The only thing you will be missing is the ability to use the headsets chat mic (Because it will be plugged into the wall/extension chord and not the ps5 directly). I don’t play online games so that was never an issue for me.
      Hope this way too long of a reply helps lol 👍

    So this is what you need to do until we get a firmware update for the ps5. Use the digital optical lead that comes with the headset and plug it into your tv and into your transmitter, this is no doubt the best sound we are going to get at the moment but it will be basic stereo sound and it's alot louder and clear. Optical digital cable will always be clearer than USB audio and i don't understand why they did not put this option onto the ps5. Also make sure you have turned limited volume off in the settings on the transmitter, also getting a splitter will only slightly improve your sound and in my opinion is not worth it even with the USB optical lead. Am just using optical lead straight into tv for now and that is very loud and clear, hopefully firmware update will be here soon

    • @imcnblu
      @imcnblu 3 года назад

      @@TheSubZero187 You've probably got it set up wrong, or you're not using the optical cable. "All Audio" is only necessary if you are using just USB for game and chat audio. Using only USB has drastically lower quality game audio. There is a _HUGE_ improvement when using optical. For this to work, you need to use Optical _and_ USB. Optical for game audio, and USB handles your mic duties.
      Set it up like this, and you'll hear how this headset is supposed to sound.
      Optical from TV or AV receiver to wireless transmitter, or GameDAC if you're using the wired version of the Arctis Pro.
      USB from PS5 to transmitter/GameDAC.
      On your PS5:
      Settings>Sound>Microphone
      For Input device: USB Headset (Arctis Pro Wireless) [or Arctis Pro]
      Next;
      Settings>Sound>Audio Output
      Output Device: USB Headset (Arctis Pro Wireless) [or Arctis Pro]
      Headphones:
      Output to Headphones: Chat Audio (THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART!! DO *_NOT_* SET IT TO ALL AUDIO. "ALL AUDIO" RESULTS IN THE OPTICAL SIGNAL BEING IGNORED ALTOGETHER.)
      General:
      Audio Format (Priority): Bitstream (Dolby)
      Should work like a charm. Optical handles your game audio and USB handles your mic.
      You also may need to adjust your TV's audio output settings to optical as well. I didn't have to for my Samsung TV. But, a friend of mine with a Vizio TV _did_ have to change the setting manually for it to work.
      Hope that helps.

    Dude the issue you're having is because you aren't using digital sound. If you set the audio set to output all audio over USB you will have shit sound.
    You should be using the optical cable to enable digital surround sound. This will make it way louder and crisper. As the PS5 doesn't include an optical port just plug the optical cable from the DAC into the optical input on tour TV and set the TVs audio settings to output over optical. It will be a night and day difference. I think too many people connect these headsets and think they're shit because they're getting analogue USB quality sound and not digital.
