I've visted Hiroshima 9 years ago and I remember young elementary kids trying their best to speak in English to ask me where I'm from, what I was doing there, and inform me some basic knowledge about Hiroshima. They had me sign their school sheet and gave me an origami crane which I still keep in my wallet. Its a very peaceful place and the okonomiyaki is more filling because of the yakisoba noodles its made with. Would love to go back with my children when theyre old enough ❤
