Hearing Mark talk about Taker being the locker room leader (I knew it already, but just hearing it again)...I wish more than anything I could've been a part of that during that time. Not saying it was all bed and roses, but what an honor it would be to see Taker being such an amazing, positive role model for multiple generations firsthand.

Taker talking about spacing and closing that space is what made Him vs Shawn SO SO SO good. Taker just beating Shawn down. Beating and beating and Shawn just trying to get up and BAM. A stiff right to the head. Then you have Shawn when he finally landed a shot. Trying to stay on top getting a few chops in then BOOM a hard right and Shawns back down repeating that process. Shawn Climbing up Taker grabbing at him basically saying im not done yet with a defiant look on his face telling taker it doesnt matter what you do i WILL NOT GO DOWN. Its so beautiful. Minutes are passing and there isnt even any action. Just little subtle things going on that build and build and build whats happening. Without a move being thrown. Its quite literally like poetry being told in the ring. As a fan i LOVE hearing the psychology being talked about as its SO important and in todays product im craving it so much and its not as prevelant as it was. I know i commented a few times but im so drawn into this conversations between two absolute legends.
This conversation, not even going to call it an interview, was so fascinating to listen to. Mark's so good at telling stories, and he's got a lot to share. The Owen stuff was friggin' hilarious. Hope he ends up back in WWE some day, he'd be a great mentor for the talent. Deserves a HOF induction too.
The promos on Smackdown by Mark Henry, The Streak I will say this so many times is the best and most Iconic thing in the business. Mark Henry Vs Taker was Peak, Peak like one of the the best Wrestlemania matches ever.
As a huge Undertaker fan, the anger I had towards Mark Henry as a kid for costing Undertaker the World Heavyweight Championship after the steel cage match vs. Batista on Smackdown was REAL. Awesome getting to hear these two chop it up and talk WM 22 among other things. This is the best wrestling podcast out, and it's not even close.
The Best Thing about modern times is how you can watch these amazing dudes here just burst it all open and let us know and hear these amazing backstage-things. I enjoy these podcasts etc.more than I do wrestling these days. And the feel-good factor about it all...watching two hours you guys talking about things is better than any PPV nowdays.

If you would've told me 30 years ago as an 8 year old in Texas that undertaker is basically the same good ol boy from Texas that my dad and uncles are, i couldn't of believed it.
Mark Henry has a gift for making people comfortable with talking to him, and I witnessed this in person one night at a Tribute to the Troops signing event in 2012. A father was with his young son, who was all of maybe 4 years old, in front of me in line at Mark's table. When they get to the front, the youngster gets a bout of nerves, as Mark is a very large imposing figure sitting there in his chair. In my head I'm thinking "Here comes the meltdown.". Big Show was on the other side of the room and cracked a joke, so I turned to look in his direction. When I look back Mark is sitting with the little boy at the side of the table talking to him with Mark telling the boy what HIS favorite cartoon is, and which cereal they respectively prefer to eat while they watch. Crisis averted. Huge grin on the toddler's face, and a big smile on Dad's while watching his son have a moment with one of the greatest of all time. I was always a Mark Henry fan, but that moment made me a Mark Henry fan for life. Mark is a blessing to people. Also, on a side note, this episode is the first time I've heard the Blue Chew ad, and I had to pull over and stop because I was laughing so hard that I couldn't breathe. Y'all are too much lol.

Mark Henry has a gift for making people comfortable with talking to him, and I witnessed this in person one night at a Tribute to the Troops signing event in 2012. A father was with his young son, who was all of maybe 4 years old, in front of me in line at Mark's table. When they get to the front, the youngster gets a bout of nerves, as Mark is a very large imposing figure sitting there in his chair. In my head I'm thinking "Here comes the meltdown.". Big Show was on the other side of the room and cracked a joke, so I turned to look in his direction. When I look back Mark is sitting with the little boy at the side of the table talking to him with Mark telling the boy what HIS favorite cartoon is, and which cereal they respectively prefer to eat while they watch. Crisis averted. Huge grin on the toddler's face, and a big smile on Dad's while watching his son have a moment with one of the greatest of all time. I was always a Mark Henry fan, but that moment made me a Mark Henry fan for life. Mark is a blessing to people.
Also, on a side note, this episode is the first time I've heard the Blue Chew ad, and I had to pull over and stop because I was laughing so hard that I couldn't breathe. Y'all are too much lol.
