This is a great episode... the nostalgia of the "two brothers"... brought back my childhood, where my younger brother was Kane and I was The Undertaker.... RIP to my baby brother... 😢
Kane was my favorite wrestler as a kid. My Mom made me Kanes reverse attire, where the body was black and it had red flames, for Halloween when I was like 11. It looked so good. Still has the greatest choke slame of all time. The aura, much like Taker, was unmatched. Biggest thing, the biggest "oh shit, here we go", was when Kane came out. Whether it was during a promo, or a run in, or even a match. He's an absolute goat
Yes it was. It was the coat that made The Undertaker break character. One of his heel opponents over the years should have brought out a cucumber to the ring😂 but it might not have been good for them backstage
Greatest Debut in the history of Pro Wrestling BY FAR. ‘97-‘01 Kane, in my eyes, was always simply better than The Undertaker (and I LOVE Taker believe me). Kane is top 3 WORKERS of all time when it comes to the "little things" and he ain't the 3rd on that list either. A whole book can be written cover to cover on that alone. I'm just gonna leave it at that: Kane - Mount Rushmore of Pro Wrestling and Glenn Jacobs is an even better Human Being. Thank you Kane! Much love from Ukraine. UPD: the fact that Glenn is a fan of AC/DC and actually had a gimmick Angus King just elevated him in my eyes so much more 😂😂 Coming from a lifelong diehard AC/DC fan 🤘🏼🤘🏼

The only reason I disagree is bc Taker was capable to suicide dive and also drop a leg drop from the top of the turnbuckle onto the announce table. He was also better on the mic and survived through a whole two different eras of wrestling
Kane is one of the greatest legends in wrestling history, definitely deserves all the respect, and he’s also one of the nicest wrestlers ever , no one has anything bad to say about him

My favorite moment in 40 years of being a fan was seeing Randy and Kane working a house show in Spokane, WA. Randy spent, like, 12 minutes running away and begging off and getting in the ring and…running away and slipping outside the ropes and…it just went on forever. And when Kane finally got ahold him? One choke slam and an instant pin. The arena reacted like it was 1998 and the glass just broke. We all lost our minds. I think about that match a lot. They stole the show that night and all it took was one bump. That’s pro.

Im not a regular viewer of the podcast but this is a video any wrestling fan should watch, just two legends who are so deeply linked in their careers talking for an hour, it cant get better than that
That's maybe the first time the Brother of destruction sit together on one podcast , that's a history moments making!
From the Brothers of Destruction to the Grandpas of Destruction. So many memories of these two men in my childhood.
To hear Kane talking and joking and laughing is psychologically jarring considering he gave me nightmares as a child growing up
Watching him light JR on fire was a hell of a childhood trauma
The Taker coat story! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that’s one of the legit funniest stories ever! 😂😂😂
Yes it was. It was the coat that made The Undertaker break character. One of his heel opponents over the years should have brought out a cucumber to the ring😂 but it might not have been good for them backstage
@@johnronane1504 honestly I was nearly crying watching it on the bus 😂😂😂😂😂 Taker is very very funny with his tales of woe!
UPD: the fact that Glenn is a fan of AC/DC and actually had a gimmick Angus King just elevated him in my eyes so much more 😂😂
Coming from a lifelong diehard AC/DC fan 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Can't say better between 1998-99 cause Taker's ministry gimmick was as good
@@thomasanderson2384 no doubt Ministry of Darkness was great

The only reason I disagree is bc Taker was capable to suicide dive and also drop a leg drop from the top of the turnbuckle onto the announce table. He was also better on the mic and survived through a whole two different eras of wrestling
@Ortizo88 and he was the original face of fear. Not wyatt or boogeyman or even kane
Love how Glenn offers to put money in the urn for saying "you know". They truly are brothers 😂
13:48, 15:15 That got me, "c'mere" (WHACK!!!!) and Kane laughing uncontrollably 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kane is one of the greatest legends in wrestling history, definitely deserves all the respect, and he’s also one of the nicest wrestlers ever , no one has anything bad to say about him
@01:25:45 Seeing Kane go from jovial to serious in an instant once the HOF question comes up really shows me how much he truly believes in the legacy of Brothers of Destruction.
Thanks for this podcast 🫡 cheers!
God, I absolutely love hearing about the greatest era from these legends. Thank yall!
"You can want in one hand, and crap in the other, and see which one fills up faster" 😂 that line goes hard
First time hearing that??
@@aloysiusdevadander19 yes. seems like a southern phrase. I'm not southern but it's going into my vocabulary lol
Kane's laugh is infectious as hell.
Followed and rated on Spotify! Amazing seeing Kane on, love the comradery in and out the ring! Hope to see Gangrel on soon! 🔥🧛
That slap to Big Show at Summerslam happens around 13-14 minutes into the match depending on which version you watch (I.e when it starts for you)
Kane has always been my favorite wrestler since I was like 3 years old, nothing beat watching Kane come out and everybody scatters.
I’m a lot older than you but I agree about Kane. I had just went through a divorce and was working in another city where I didn’t really know anyone. Wrestling, and Kane in particular, was my brief escape from all the challenges going on at the time.
@@johnblossom8447 his rivalries were unmatched I felt, I hated HHH for most of my life because of his feud with Kane 😂
So many more questions I wished were asked. Still great to see these 2 major pieces of wrestling history unite. Bring Sting on the show 🙏🏻🙏🏽🙏🏿
BY GAWD ITS KANE!
Oh, you watch this as well? Dope! Love your channel also, Mike!
“Ssuck iiiiiittt!”
Son: "Why do you call him your brother, you both are not blood related."
The brothers:
Not knowing they're not brothers is perhaps the most enviable thing you can be as a wrestling fan. The day you find out they're not brothers is the day you lose kayfabe for real
@@MarvinT0606 I know they are brothers xD I mean, who doesn't? But they are so close and it's awesome, isn't it? Kane and undertaker are my favorite!
What a Gentleman Glan is !!
Always had a huge respect for character Kane. He was one of the best in his prime and surely underrated.
These two were pretty much the reason I watched wrestling growing up.
The way Kane tombstoned Undertaker was like how a dog spins around before lying down.
Kane I think forgot what angel tombstone him for camera, the camera man will purposely alot of the times make the view of camera so you can't quite see the guys head during tombstone
I think it added to the story. Kane had undertaker in tombstone position and he did a 360 to show everybody
This is probably my favorite episode because I’m a huge fan of Kane and the brothers of destruction.
Giving taker a podcast was the best idea this century
This is going to be the greatest podcast episode of all time. Undertaker and Kane. The greatest story in wrestling by a country mile. As a 10 year old when Kane debuted I was all in. Been obsessed with the BOD ever since. Thank you both for blessing my childhood with the best memories!!
Wasn't even much of a story but they definitely kicked ass all up and down the roster
@@KaitouKaijudid you watch it at the time? It was a huge story! The build up to it with Paul Bearer. The debut of Kane and the months that followed. The background, their parents etc. Granted it didn’t go on and on for ages but it didn’t need to really it was set in stone.
I seen Kane monday night Raw in 2008. HIS entrance alone is soo intense something i would remember forever
Kane is a bigger legend now than he was before. His work outside the ring is great!
I've been waiting for this reunion all my life just seeing Kane and Undertaker together makes me happy and brings tears to my eyes ❤️❤️
Him asking how they came to them about the Kane character was a great question ! And letting them just answer and get the story !
imagine telling are younger selfs that we would be here 25 years later watching Kane & Taker casually chilling shooting about the times they made us cry lmao.
I must say WOW, this was the best podcast ive seen. Seeing Kane and Undertaker reminiscing bout the good ole days n seeing Mr Flip Flops havin a good time as well. Kane laughing just being happy n Undertaker bein himself so wonderful. Thank you Mark, Mayor Kane n Mr. Flip Flops for making this happen. Much love and respect❤⚰️🪦⚱️🔔🔥👹🩴🩴
Love the show and all the work that mark has done for the fans and the people around him. You guys keep up the great work, already waiting for the next episode
its wild how infectious Kane's laugh is
legit every story you hear about him is true
he's legit just a good humble guy
Never would I ever imagined to see Kane and undertaker laughing in tears
They almost are like real brothers😅
Half brothers. 😂
At this point they are brothers😂😂😂
and Mark is probably the only person who can literally knock on the Mayor’s Office door and just walk in
My favorite moment in 40 years of being a fan was seeing Randy and Kane working a house show in Spokane, WA.
That’s pro.
Kane is the BEST MAYOR EVER! This is coming from a guy who doesnt live in Tennesse as Im Canadian but my sister and brother in law (hes American) live in Knox county and love U Kane. And they arent even wrestling fans!
Kane is a great character and a great person. He always receives praises in and out of the ring.
This childhood core I didn’t know I needed ❤️😭
20:20 Taker's response to Matt's question of how him and Kane met, "I think it was a Tinder date right? 🤣
I cackled 😂
Hilarious and funny sounding coming from taker 😂😂
@@TheHappynot If anyone told me before he started this podcast that he was this funny in real life, I'd never have believed them. He's got tons of funny jokes and comebacks at the tip of his tongue.
The Undertaker has been my favorite wrestler since 91. Met him in 2018 at a signing and couldn't say anything I wanted to because I could not believe I was meeting him. That was the best day of my life until my daughter was born in 2022.
Kane has been my favourite wrestler since I was 6years old i am 29 today man how the time has gone my favourite version of the big red monster is when he was with American badass taker those were the days man ❤
I don't care what anyone says isaac yankem to me was a great character, and the first time i seen him Wrestle. When he took kanes mask off i knew right away who he was from that character. I've been waiting for this interview. such a great character.
He was great as Fake Diesel too😂
In theory, Glenn Jacobs could be a triple hall of famer as Kane, the Bros of Destruction and Diesel (Kevin Nash ceded the character to him when asked in his podcast)
Thank you for appearing on the broadcast Kane. I love hearing your stories and experiences behind the scenes. You'll always be the MVP of wrestling for me.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and memories from your time as a full-time wrestler. It’s awesome to learn about Mark as a person while he was portraying himself as the undertaker
1:23:15 "Did you get that okay'd by Pooh Bear?" Killed me. That's exactly what I thought of when they were telling the story of Paul getting stuck, lol.
Can we take a second here and appreciate Kane refrencing swamp thing and doomsday
I remember seeing them the first time in the inferno match back when I was a kid. Ive been a fan since. Always cool seeing these two wether they're fighting each other, teaming up or doing podcasts.
