Got my warrior to max. Hated fury and I tank on a paladin as a main. As I have been watching the buffs roll in for arms I have gotten more and more excited for this spec. So much fun to play.
I made a warrior alt and couldn't decide between fury and arms i heard fury was easier but much more fast paced which tbh I don't think im used to the only MMOs i sunk any significant time in is ESO and FF14 (tho i argue eso is a single player game with online elements kinda like white knight chronicles) i done research into fury and i do like the fantasy of dual wielding 2h swords cause it reminds me of dark souls strength builds but i think I'll go with arms cause it seems the most similar to what im used to (in FF14 you couldn't really button mash as whenever you use a active skill the rest of em would grey out for about 1 second before you could use another skill you could use CDs and GCDs at the same time as your active skills tho)
Learn Arms warrior super fast. If i already have enough points to fill a talent tree wouldn't I already know how a warrior works? Where do I find beginner warrior stuff.
Why wait for colossus smash 13 sec to end before using thunders roar? Doesn’t the smash give u extra damage? I just made a alt arms so trying to figure it out I truly don’t know.
Hey, nice vid! Slightly off topic question - but I see you have a weak aura going for spells and stuff, which shows/has the GCD. By any chance - did you make that weak aura yourself? I am dying to know how to get the GCD to show! (Preferably on an entire dynamic group if that is possible, but I will put it on every single spell if I have to! :D )
@@stillsolo I looked into it, and I cant figure it out lol. Are you sure you read my quest right? I have an existing weakaura with some spells right below my character, but using any of those spells feels so off, because there is no GCD animation on those icons. And I want there to be :/ If I can make that work using Details, then please do share!

But If you said you are not using a weak auras for that, then perhaps you cant help me :( (You see, I have just come to love weak auras, and I want to use it to remake my actions bars exactly how I like them, with all of what weak auras has to offer in terms of effects and glows etc etc. EXEPT that I can't figure out how to add the GCD animation to the spell icons/"action bars". It's one of those things you never think about until its gone, like bass guitar in a black metal song. Gotta have it!)
hey, i have few question: 1) why are u using Thunderous Roar after colossus smash debuff is gone ? 2) you also mentioned that are using Ignore pain to Dump rage? For what reason should we spend rage on Ignore pain? anything usefull to do more DMG? 3)
You get colossus smash faster the more rage you spend throughout the fight due to anger management, ignore pain not only keeps you alive in touch scenarios, but gets you your dps button back faster.
Sorry if that's a stupid question but what do I do after my full AoE rotation? Most skills are not up again. Just autoattack? And how can execute be part of the normal rotation when the enemy is not under 20 % hp?
@@betahumanx I just picked up warrior, do you still reckon arms is easier ? Im new to wow but I just got my ele shaman to 70, made a fury warrior but the play style is so weird and skills
@@Waybackwhennn I am not coming back to Fury to be honest since Arms feels too good for that. I also have Ele Shammy but Arms feels a bit better to me sinc keeping those Flame Shocks up in M+ feels a bit annoying to me

i play arms and what i notice is big pulls is what arms do best. survive allot and do shit ton of dmg on big groups then single target and small groups is where the dps feels low. think its mostly talents that matters but if you use his tallents its very centerd around cleave and wirl wind. play around with the talents and have fun! '
@@stillsolo No if you look at the debuff on the target the rend debuff timer matches the timer on your rend ( 3rd action button ) as in how long the debuff is up on the target?
@@stillsolo Oh okay that makes sense. I haven't really ever tried Elvui. I downloaded it but at the time I didn't know you could import profiles so it was a bit too overwhelming. Thanks for the help
"How not to do a guide". Don't care about stats, talents, consumables, etc. Only about the rotation. You listing 20-30 cooldowns in a row without explaining WHY you should use them in that sequence makes this... useless.
Lol..arms is not fun. It's so boring. For those saying you don't like fury, it's because a lot of people don't understand how to keep up with the fast pace of hitting a ridiculous amount of buttons and actually being good at it.
@Kala Ta you clearly don't know how to play fury. Lol I suppose its close to accurate if you're fighting a boss and not using raging blow for some reason but in mythic plus we also have 2 interrupts to use a rally if the group is in trouble maybe a fear if you're spec'd into it, however I do not. Plus your self heals to help your healer out which also require you to be hitting a target. Plus our burst cooldowns and rav. So you're 2 button comment goes right out the window. Maybe learn fury before commenting?
@@stelthy3450 I play both equally. Fun is subjective but Fury hits like a wet noodle, whereas Arms is beefy. Nothing feels better than 300k Mortal Strikes.

Fury is a lot more fast paced but I personally think fury feels more smoother to play than arms. But again arms is still really good too!

Would you use Slam at all with the m+ talents for single target? I feel like it's better to just reapply Rend really

I messed up the thunderous roar but dumping rage into ignore pain can help with taking damage from anything really.
You use roar after colossus smash debuff is up so it benefits from test of might's huge str buff
You dump rage with ignore pain thunderclap and whirlwind so you get more charges of overpower from the tactician talent.
You get colossus smash faster the more rage you spend throughout the fight due to anger management, ignore pain not only keeps you alive in touch scenarios, but gets you your dps button back faster.
ignore pain dont give the buff like it use too

The execute thing depends on the talent you are using. After your aoe rotation just pop whats ready.
Arms seems to be the more fun spec but man it's a lot more complicated
Yeah thats one of the reasons I like fury more. It just flows better.

You recommend Arms over Fury? I feel like with a 385 ilvl, my DPS should be much better than it is in Mythics.
I think fury is more fun to play which is why I would recommend that one.
Pretty sure both are solid as long as you have your rotation down. Play which ever you find fun/feels better to play. Personally, it's arms for life 😂

No that's actually just a macro I have. I combined charge and rend together into 1 button.

Fury has 2 buttons bro, OS Rampage and the occasional WW to refresh stacks.
