    Dude just found your channel. After I saw your 1st video I subscribed so fast. Your content is A+. I’ve been building my setup for a couple of months and I am scared to stream online go figure but in 2021 I have to make the dive. Got too much invested to turn back now.
    Watching your videos and how you got everything set up gives inspiration go forward. I have most of the gear your have and your advice is rock solid. In a previous video I was feeling like I had to get the blackmagic hyperdeck mini for 700.00 to run video. Then you showed how to get video and stingers,etc into the stream without get that hyperdeck.
    That’s what I call adding value. You literally saved me 700 bucks. You should be a mill subs in no time with your content. Keep grinding bro

      The XBOX ONE is going into HDMI port 1 on the ATEM Mini Pro. When I want to play I just set the ATEM to only monitor that HDMI port. I hope that answers your question.

    For the animated Stingers, you can use a dedicated HDMI port and synchronize a VLC clip launch, using something like Bitfocus Companion.
    It’s quite convoluted but it works.

    Mate, your channel is amazing. I love your sense of aesthetics - from the fonts you use, the video layout and set design, just flawless! Question: I'm trying to setup a PS4 twitch stream using my ATEM Mini, Lumix GH5, Rode Videomic NTG and my TV. I've been trying multiple setups and so far the best option has been connecting the mic straight to the camera, camera on HDMI 1 and PS4 on HDMI 2 and then connect my PC to the TV via HDMI. Problem: I can't listen to my PS4 audio unless I connect my headphones to the controller. But when I do that, people stop hearing the PS4. Also I can't find a way of controlling the audio from the PS4 and it sounds way too loud. What am I doing wrong here? Sorry for the huge text but I've been crazy looking for answers and no one is able to help me so far :(. Cheers!

      1) Thanks for watching and the compliments. I’m happy to hear you are enjoying the content. As for your question, I’ll do my best: 1) I assume you are using the ATEM mini and not the Pro or ISO. 2) Your setup seems fine. The issue you are encountering is very common. Blackmagicdesign neglected to include an audio out. Many people, myself included, connect the ATEM to a monitor like the Atomos Ninja V which has an HDMI pass through and a 3.5mm audio jack to monitor the sound. Obviously, this is an expensive piece of equipment. I would recommended researching an HDMI audio extractor. That way you can feed the HDMI OUT signal to this box and as it passes through to the TV you can monitor the audio with headphones. Be warned, I have never tried it myself but heard it works. If you do try it let me know how it works out.

      @@CreateConsumeRepeat thanks so much for the quick reply. I'm gonna try connecting my mic via usb and see if I can change the volume of the audio output from the ATEM Mini on OBS. That might do the trick. Otherwise I'll try the HDMI extractor. I had looked into it before as well. It just sucks that you can't monitor audio straight from the ATEM. Again, thanks so much for your help!

    Ok so I keep running into the ATEM mini for what I'm trying to do: Record xbox gameplay / audio / camera with my friend. However my pc and tv are in different rooms. Is the ATEM mini able to record the different video sources (game and camera) so i can edit them together later? Am I just too ambitious thinking that technology is able to do that? I mean that's what I do on OBS with pc gameplay, make a 3840x1920 screen half with camera half with game; but again this would be for console gameplay and camera in a separate room. Any insight would be awesome

    • @CreateConsumeRepeat
      @CreateConsumeRepeat  2 года назад +1

      You would need an ATEM Mini Pro ISO to record each individual HDMI input so you can recut it later in an NLE like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.

    I just subbed! Great video. I have pretty much the same set up. I plan on doing talking head videos on my channel as well. Can I ask you two questions? What were you running yout mic line into? Directly into the iMac? The ATEM? An Audio Interface? The Camera? I'm not sure which is the best way to route my audio for those type of videos. 2. Can you share your low light camera settings for this video? I think your exposure is perfect.

    • @CreateConsumeRepeat
      @CreateConsumeRepeat  3 года назад +1

      First let me start out by saying thanks for the sub. As for your questions 1) I run my mic into a DBX 286S then into the ATEM with a 3 frame delay (adjusted in the ATEM software). I have a whole video dedicated to sound on my channel. 2) I am using a Sony A6400 during my livestreams set at f 1.4 at 800 ISO. 3) If you are asking about the settings on the RUclips video itself, that is a Sony A7RII set at f2.8 at ISO 800. 4) Both setups are shot in RAW then color corrected with a custom LUT. For the livestream I apply the the LUT via the ATOMOS recorder then fed in to the ATEM via HDMI. 5) If you want perfect hassle free sound sync on the ATEM I would run the audio into the camera. That way audio and video are sent to the ATEM via HDMI. Hope that helps.

    I know this is an old review but when I try to use my Xbox series x directly into the Atem mini pro the game play is at 60hz and it looks choppy. Not smooth like at 120hz. Is it the same for you. I even try using an Ezcoo 4k splitter but it downgraded es the signal to 60hz.
