Really like your content. Love it when you golf with your mom and dad. Brings back rich memories of my own parents who are not here any longer Keep up the great work.
I like the adjustability factor. I regularity hit the P790 UDI, and love it. Ping made it adjustable, innovative tech from Ping’s skunk works. Good stuff. Sticking with my P790 UDI.
My mate that's teaching me the game swears by p790 looks at my callaway with utter disgust. At least its better than how he looked at my first set dunlop power point
@@adampark4238 I swear by it also. It is my go to for narrow fairways, and short Par 4s. I’ve hit 260-270. And you heard James talking about feel, it is amazing!!
Won't surprise me at all if the next major change in irons is an adjustable hosel throughout the set, similar to many drivers and fairway woods. Regarding this new Ping club, I wonder how many "better players" would take this over a hybrid - to me that would make for a good comparison.
Not sure I'm a fan but great review all the same and you certainly hit it well. I still hit a old traditional waffer thin bladed 1 iron i have 30 Yr old mizuno blades and my 1 iron is my fairway finder I believe its 15 degrees and it goes really well i use it lots every round I play ....it scares most folk when they grab it but to me its my comfortable...
I'd like to see an "offset" myths video. Ping say offset promotes higher launch, not slice correction. However, many well-informed report a tendency to hook... Is that just between the ears? An unconscious response to the visual at address? Or is a slight difference in ball position vs non-offset required?
Funny. My mom used to tell me the same thing. Must be the old country manners and etiquette that is so lacking today. Loving the travel videos. Winter is coming in the states so youtube will need to sustain my golf fix😂
When Ping offer precise swingweight tuning via the toe screw for the amateur market thats when I'll buy all their gear. Trying to be too fancy with a long iron. Whats wrong with a Blueprint 2 iron in a spec to match your game and it loos a hella lot better at address. Still great review and video once again from one of the most passionate people in golf.
I agree they can make fitting clubs but can't make a full adjustable set? I've been talking about this for a few years now and don't understand other than profitability why they wouldn't.
I think that just maybe ping is calling it a good players driving iron... not a players iron which would make a difference to most players. It's like a twisting of words on the review but maybe that's just me.
How is the sleeve the most complicated you've ever seen? That right there makes me not trust anything you have to say.... It's labeled on the sleeve dude!
Only European golf pros are excited about low lofted driving irons, even if it is adjustable. You guys are so sadistic. Callaway UW 21 all day. NO 2 irons.
I've ditched my G400 4 hyb for an iCrossover. This thing is amazing, so easy to elevate. Nice review, thanks
I hope the video was good. You said 1 iron and I started crying and hid under my desk!

Great review like always. What is the distance of your p790 udi compared with i crossover

Wonder how it perform against the Cobra Forged Tec Utility with adjustable hosel which is a solid club. Looks awesome this Ping
How does the p790 udi compare, i know it is 17 degrees so may go further but is potentially less forgiving? Any opinions?
I’ve been using the Ping 3 Crossover 19 degree since they introduced it. When you have to be straight and long it is my go to club.
How is it off the deck?
@@lawbinson It works great. I find it easier to hit than a hybrid.
@@craigcox1727 would you say you're a high swing speed player?

Having adjustable irons would be great to get gapping perfectly dialed in during a fitting.
Looks like a fun club to have. The "player's club" thing is getting a little tedious, though. A red herring.
What does it go up to ie 19.5 degrees?
I don't like hitting driver or 3 wood or hybrid or long irons. Or irons or wedges or putter.... I wonder if this club is for me? ☹️
Hey James, how many times have you hit a golf shot and said that sounded terrible, let me take a penalty stoke and hit one that sounds better?
Would love to see your thoughts on the New Level GI22’s. How do they compare to Takomo?
How does it compare to the 425 crossover?
I've got the crossover 3,4 and 5. They all go straighter than my woods or hybrid. I just hit irons better than fairway woods/ hybrids. Its just me.
Try it against a Ping Eye 2 1 iron? I still have one but can't hit it any more!
What is the yardage like on this puppy?

The swing is looking brilliant atm James!

Looks incredibly versatile James. Love the colour
I’m a hybrid guy. I want to love a driving iron, but it won’t love me back . . . 😅
That one checks off a lot of boxes
Looks like you've really drilled that lesson you had with Pete Cowan in.
Very abrupt end. Bit weird
Stayed til the end though. Appreciate your time 🤘🏼

Ping: ok let’s sell the fitting clubs
When is Ping going to make an entire SET adjustable!! no more aftermarket benders to adjust our gaps would be amazing!

Love my Pings….on my 3rd set. Currently using v2 irons. Love the look of those.
Wow and wow
Most folks good enough to carry a driving iron don't want all the offset. Fail.
Unexpected finish to this clip after "a couple of more yards roll out". Did my RUclips crash or was this the real end of the clip?
What more did you want Ian? Lol

The lie angle changes with the loft tho you cant decide which loft and which lie angle its fixed
Every season is stinger season mate!
I hate long irons that ruined my golf game every time.
it will never go in your bag because it is not a taylormade
I love hitting hybrids and have no desire to hitt this iron.
Wow
Anyone else confused by "neautrarl"
You adjusted it for a fade.. and then complained about it fading lol
I put it back to neutral 👍🏼
