Just upgraded to a g430 3 hybrid from my old Wilson. Got it fitted in my course pro shop. What an absolute bomber. So easy to hit. Fantastic club and well worth the money.
Wonderful review on course. Ping seems to have finally spent some R&D dollars to improve their overall acoustics! I play Ping 425 Woods and Hybrids and they are straight forgiving machines for me. Mid Handicap 15 that would easily give up a few yards for better dispersion ! I will probably wait till their next revision now that they are focusing on their acoustics. They have done a nice job with their new set of irons. THANKS LEE !!
I was converted to the G425 hybrid from Mizuno CLKs as you know and i still love mine. Haven't found anything that is anywhere near it.
The honesty of your reviews is refreshing. If i do buy hybrids this year, I'll look at the G425 and save some money.

I’ve got G425 7 wood. Mainly use it off the tee as it’s safer than trying to hit driver. It goes a long way to the point I’ve had several people ask if it’s a 3 wood lol.
Just got the new g430 with a Oban Purple shaft.. its insane...played the G425 .7w all last year,
so reliable, and easy to hit, also used off the 1st tee to relax, now, the 430 is going even further...also have the 425 3 wood and 4 Hybrid..all brilliant ..👍

This club has changed everything for me
I have a 4h and 6h i use it from 180 choke down 2/3 swing
200 full swing
to 230 w the 4hybrid
And its so much easier n more accurate than my irons id rather have 180-200 left than 150-170 lol

Have 4,5&6 425 hybrid, thought I d get a 7 to complete my set, lef5 it too late as out of stock now. Might try the 430 if my 7i doesn’t improve as the 6 hybrid in the short time I have had it has been brilliant easy to hit low dispersion and accurate.

I have the g425 driver and love it (when I can hit it correctly). I lucked up and caught g430 3hybrid and I am in love. Looking to add a 2 hybrid. Forget woods for me.
I have the G420 and love it.. but I just ordered a G430 I’m so excited for it to get here !
Smart move on keeping the 425 Lee. I think that extra spin will help you hold the greens a little better. The extra 2 yard carry is meaningless, especially when you take into consideration the standard deviation. Your reviews are getting better and your choices are getting smarter. Well done.
Hi Lee, the wrapping came off my new Ping G430 5H yesterday lol!! I already have the G425 4, 6, and even 7 hybrids! I've been after a Ping 5H for months now, and whilst I could have saved myself c.£75, I've taken a punt on the newer model!!
Initial feedback is positive, and definitely a more muted sound at impact! To be fair, I quite like the sound my current G425 hybrids make...
Another reason for opting for new model hybrid was because if stuck with G425, I'd be constantly searching for correct numbered hybrid throughout round lol!! That said, I could have just purchased
another branded headcover I guess!! 🤣
Playing at Close House on Saturday and Sunday, so will be interested to see how the G430 5H fairs!!??

I tried this vs. the 425 today. 430 was ridiculous. I actually didn't like the 425 at all. I'm really irritated that the 430 costs so much because it was the best hybrid I've ever hit.
I have the 425 Driver, 5w, 7w and hybrid. I'll be swapping Driver out purely because the sound really grates on me now. The fairways and hybrid I don't mind so much and the way they perform I can't see those going anywhere for a long time
Same here.... worth getting some $$ for 425 at 2nd Swing toward 430 based on improved acoustics alone. Finally Ping is making some advances in sound and feel.... including irons i230 and i59
@@JohnnyDSR I'll do a trade in definitely. I've never had a driver that performs as well as the 425 so if the 430 can give me similar with better sound I'd game it in a heartbeat

I am definitely buying it, but I don't know how to choose a loft. I can't find any videos on it. I am thinking 4 or 5
G425 5H owner/user. I don't see changing to 430 as there isn't anything within the new clubs that makes a noticeable difference on the golf course. Would still rock 410 if I didn't catch a deal on a 425. And on a side note don't sit on the Cleveland XL Halo hybrids, mostly talking the Hy-wood, 3H, and 4H. Easily one of the most forgiving hybrids on the market and at a price that can't be beat.
Last week I tested cleveland xl 3 hybrid and it was spinning at 6500 rpm. The fitter then handed me the g430 and I was spinning at a proper 3500 rpm, gained 20 yards. G430 has the perfect spin for holding greens while cutting through wind. This club I am buying this weekend no doubt. It is so easy to hit.
I just got a smokin deal on a g430 3h and it's a game changer 227 carry and 234 total yardage off the deck and that's in high 50 degree weather. Goes high far and lands super soft and stays surprisingly straight into a head wind it doesn't balloon. Best hybrid I've ever hit

One thing I can say about Ping hybrids and woods is I cannot imagine better. I hit them so much better than any of the competitions clubs.
Never owned a hybrid. What makes more sense for a higher handicap play. 4 or 5 hybrid. I have standard graphite shaft. What shaft option on the hybrid makes sense?
Just ordered mine to replace a G410.
According to my club pro, the G430 is outselling the Stealth 2 10 to 1...!!

Is there any real difference between g425 hybrids and g430 hybrids that would justify an upgrade? Sound doesn’t really matter to me just performance
I typed this question before I watched the video… looks like I’ll be sticking with my G425
I have the 410 and although a good club very tinny noise which I don’t care for. Is the sound and feel a lot better as I might need to order one.
Sound absolutely an improvement. Feel is so subjective that you would need to try it yourself.
What shaft were you using to demo the ping hybrid?

I am playing with the G 425's also. I certainly wouldn't be switching either. Not worth it. G 425 sound has never bothered me. They are powerful and very forgiving. Best hybrid I have ever played with and I have tried plenty of them. I have the series in both hybrids and woods and love them. Good review!!!!

@@LWG I actually have the 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 in the G 425 hybrids. I have the 5, 7 and 9 G425 woods. They make playing golf a pleasure.
@@LWG I really do hit the Pings better than the other makes. I have used Taylormade's before too and did well with them but not quite as good as the Ping's.

I had a fitting today at AG. I said to the pro that I like the Stealth, the Ping and the Callaway. He took five looks at my my pretty average swing and messy dispersion then fitted me for the G430, he didn't bother with the others! 😃 I asked about the Stealth again and he said, the Ping is just great and he was right!
Have the 425 in 4-5h and 7w. The 425 hybrids I'm not sure are any better than my TS2's were but the 7w is the best club I've ever hit minus the sound.
Great ping reviews Lee but the people want Lee in the trees back😁. How about either on your or Dan's channel you getting short game lesson. You've lost confidence around the greens.
