Today I learned, I do not like trends.
Love the checkerboard toekick in the kitchen.
Thanks for these snapshots. 💛 Esp 4:48 Kim White's armoire with that terrific backing wallpaper. Wow!
Love the 1st one!❤
Also ‘Chinoiserie’ = Sheen-wah-se-ree 😅
Fun tour! Wish I were there ❤
Really like the variety of spaces - something for everyone. Shoutout to the chandeliers! 💖
Wonderful and beautiful designed spaces, so many talented artists 🎨 ❤️
I had a really fun time at the small/cool event! I loved taking the tour in person as it helped point out things I missed in the display, even though I consider myself detail oriented lol. So many great ideas & inspirations across budgets. Last year’s event was also awesome. Love it & hope it continues into the future.
I suppose '24 trends aren't for me, I unfortunately didn't like most of what I saw here. A lesson for me that it's OK to not follow trends 😅.
Love the kitchen checkerboard and pastel colors!! Way to go 💯
Thank you for the video
The designers did an amazing job! I love the textile pattern that Danielle blundell used. Also I love that bar/speakeasy vibe duval Reynolds created. Everything looks so expensive even though affordable items were used. I am very impressed! Wow! I also love suite dreams by Natalie Wong, the blush colored headboard is amazing and I love all the scalloped details in the room. I am obsessed with verdure tapestry and love that it was featured in hipstoric nowstalgia. Also in one of the other bedrooms I love that bookcases were used instead of night stands
Loving Natalie Wong's work!
Love the Duvall Reynolds space!!
The only thing that appealed was the checkerboard kitchen. I was looking for my favorite designers, but none of them were included.
Ones I liked: Carmen Rene Smith, DuVal Raynolds, Anita Yokota, Kevin Francis O'Gara, Natalie Wong, Drew Barrymore, Kim White & Bailey Lee.
영상 잘봤어요 감사해요🩷
These are all awful. Were they done by students?
Clock in a bar area??? No clock is EVER put in a bar. (Hehehe! 🍷😁)
The average family would not incorporate any of these designs. They are here today trends and quickly out of style. Reminds me of fashion runway shows, clothing the average person will never wear.
I agree with you. What's really sad is that the typical American family of the 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s would've actually had the resources and desire to explore the passing trends of their day, such as these. Most of us no longer have that luxury or even drive nowadays. I do appreciate AT's effort in sharing though. 😅👍👍
I think it's a great video to get inspiration, there was plenty I could see people incorporating into their homes
Those folks from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s would have bought furniture available when they furnished their first (and probably last) home . My parents and hubby’s parents kept their bedroom furniture their ENTIRE lives. Disposable decor was not a thing back then. We bought the best quality we could afford and kept it.
I hear you. But some of the storage solutions would work for any family. Also, the wallpapers were amazing. Room dividers would work for most folx too.
@@bstandlyaclu Thank you for saying that. 👍👍 I completely agree with the room dividers and storage solutions part. I must confess though, I am still trying to save enough money for 2 wallpaper projects I have on my to do list - and at the earliest, I won't be able to afford the wallpaper until next year. Designer wallpaper is financially painful. And if you don't go "designer," you have to pay with your time. I have spent countless hours, combing the Internet and listening to YT wallpaper peeps tell me their thrifty/money-saving favs and what doesn't work. It is difficult any way you cut it. Ultimately, building and utilizing the skills to clean and organize is vital to make any space a workable and relieving/refreshing environment. As for the luxury of interior decorating, I think this economy is turning us one by one into minimalists. 😂
Duval and Nate and Natalie wong and drew
Duval Reynolds Kim White and Hollie Velten-Lattrell did a great job! But, so much of this a NO for me. Last year's SC was legitimately cool interesting and individual. It was inspiring! This year...IKEA showrooms look more cohesive interesting and thought out than these spaces. I'm truly shocked at Nate Berkus' display. I expect to be WOWed by someone at his level.
Do you know any other word than love?
I was about to ask the same thing! Lol!
😂😂😂
This is the junk food of interior design… develop your own style, stop following trends, and also stop buying cheap junk at the stores
Yikes!
Omg those are so ugly. Too many colours.
I love colour but the people who created these have absolutely no taste. Some real shockers in here.
I don't like any of them
I hate everything. There's nothing here I can use in my home. Get real.
Lose the annoying fry please !
Great to see emerging trends however the presenters ‘upspeak’ was so off putting that I stopped watching. When did everything become at question? At the end of a sentence? 🫤
