I've had the Sunrider installed for a couple of months. It hit -12°C (10°F) yesterday. The Sunrider works so well, even in winter, I forget it's on unless the sun shines. Can't wait for warmer temperatures.
4WD Magazine So I’ve been searching everywhere for a replacement driver side freedom panel because I had to bend Zack connection bits in order to open it when I locked my keys in the jeep last summer luckily I had the threaded knobs taken out for easy access and I’m debating whether not to get this to replace both pieces or spend $500 on just one freedom panel....I live in New England so obviously four months out of the year it’s very cold and snowy how would you say this thing would be?
Love mine. I did have bestop send me longer knob bolts for the side rails. They sent me some for free, no problems. Made it easier. But top is incredible.

Can you remove the back hard top and keep the bestop on at the same time?...And or do you have to fully uninstall if you want to take the rest of the hard top off ?
hello. thank you for the review. Are velcro straps needed to secure it while open when driving? I just bought a used 2015 unlimited altitude and it came with a sunrider on... but i'm nervous to drive with it open and not secured. Will it flap around unsafely? Thank you..
Dimagio rp If you notice water in tne rails that go over the door, use caulk (black, clear, white) along the back of the sun rider, where the rubber weatherstrip meets the hard top (4door)
Just bought the best top as well and it does leak. We had rain for a couple of weeks in kansas and noticed my floors were soaked. I did use a card to tuck in the seals in the back on the top portion but unfortunately it still leaks.
Love the video, I’m planning on buying one soon and this was super helpful! One question though, does the soft top move around when you make a stop or is it locked in place??
@@4WDMagazine How does having this installed affect your ability to remove the entire hard top? Do you have to essentially remove the entire sunrider to get the hard top off, or can the brackets be left on?

When I’m on the highway it sounds like pieces of rubble are hitting it. Anyone else has that problem?

Yes it leaks. I have a 2015 jeep wrangler sport and evey time it rains it leaks!

This product leaks. Have a 2015 jeep wrangler sport and every time it rains or barely rains it leaks inside the door pillars.
