This is the best video for this repair. The actual dual weatherstrip is the solution. Every Jeep owner can relate and appreciate.Five stars all around!!!!
Sir, you helped me a lot. I just used 5 of those to prepare all four doors just to make sure. It worked, my Jeep Wrangler JK is dry af. Best regards from Germany and thank you very much!
@ Yes, full turn on all 4 doors. I then had to cut them where the soft top meets the car body, so when I changed to the hard top, I also prepared the remaining area of the hard top. As a result, I now have full coverage on both, the soft as well as the hard top. In total I needed 5 of those EPDM black rubber seals. Still very cheap and much more effective in total in comparison to what my Jeep Dealer offered me (1.000€ for the non-functional original seal kit).
@@jeepin4me921 update...since doing this I have had no leak issue here. I just used the same stripping for my rear doors because I had a problem with water running down the soft top plastic pillar. So far it fixed that too. Why they cant fix this bullshit at the factory I'll never understand.
I have had no issues since I did this fix!! Hope it helps you as it has me and many others!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!
Thank you so much for sharing, I immediately bought 2 boxes on Amazon after watching this! I've replaced the door seals, hard top seals, spent hundreds of dollars and I still have a pool in my driver floor board after a hard rain. I jumped for joy and clicked my heels after watching this! Hopefully it will solve my problem as well! Thanks again for sharing!
Cant wait to wash my jeep after this!! My daughter said Fun Guy isn't white anymore, he's brown. Lol i was gonna use a different gasket, and do the entire frame. Thanks for sharing & for everyone commenting on how successful they were in stopping the leak!
My man! Got the same stuff and IT WORKED!!!! UNBELIEVABLE. I've tried several solutions I've found on RUclips and nothing has worked. EXCELLENT JOB, MY FRIEND!

The dealers had me leave the car there 3 days to find the leak to tell me I needed door seals all around for $3000. Just to check the car they charged me $600 for the 3 days. Wish I would have watched a video first
I've already tried two other YT fixes with no luck. I had it at the dealership yesterday to diagnose it, and they said it's $560 😠 to replace the door and muck seals. Going to give this a shot. I have confidence in this one. I'm not paying almost $600 to the dealer!! Has anybody tried this fix with just one "D" strip instead of both from the package?
I have this same leak. I watched another video about putting camper shell tape over that "button" you described. I did that and will be adding the weather stripping where you installed it for good measure. Thanks for the vid. Wish I would have seen this before I went to the dealership who replaced a door seal that was perfectly fine to begin with.
David Macko thanks for watching and I have had no water issues since I did this over a year ago!! Thanks for watching and remember to like and subscribe!!
Thank you for this video!I followed your instructions and it slowed the leak considerably, but there was still a small amount of water creeping in. I added a smaller weatherstrip (10mm) to the very outside of the door frame from the edge of the freedom panel to the upper door hinge and that did the trick!
XtremeChiliPepper I hope this helps you as it has mine and many, many others!! Thanks again for watching, and remember to subscribe!! Take care and keep Jeepin!!
Great product review pal. Everything I’ve seen was foam weatherstripping. Don’t know why the factory would use something that absorbs water as a seal but I’ll be investing in this rubber. Hopefully we can get in Canada. Solve this leak and battle the nasty one above the seatbelt! Thanks again!
Thank you so much. You saved me so much money and heartache. The carpet on the surface was dry but what a soaked mess underneath and god only knows how long that has been festering. Just installed, then poured a gallon of water and it stayed dry. I will reassess after the next big rain storm (which will prob be tonight in So Florida)
Fantastic!!! I am so glad, I know that this fix has helped hundreds of fellow Jeepers, and I have not had any issues since I did the video. I hope you have no more issues as well. Please let me know. Remember to like, share, and subscribe…keep jeepin!
I watched your other video about preventing leaks, thank you for taking the time to address these issues. What silicone product do you recommend using twice a year? I will order some and lube every nook and cranny I can find. I’d rather prevent future problems if possible. Thanks again 💖
Hallelujah! That's why I'm here I've got leaks on both sides driver and passenger! Im definitely going to try this. Thank you so much for sharing. Love my Jeep and the Jeep family but these little quirks annoy me sometimes.

Past few days got puddles on my passenger floorboard from the rain, just stopped by Home Depot and picked some of this up, thanks for the DIY!! #jeeplife
We've had two storms since I did the install, and NO WATER on the floor!! I'm going to give it one more storm to be sure, but I'm looking forward to getting my carpet back in the jeep! THANKS !!
This works! The floor has remained dry through several heavy storms and a few trips through the car wash. I can't thank you enough. (Only wish I had tried this before shelling out $120 for the upgraded door seal that didn't help)
My leak is the exact same! However it’s sporadic. It doesn’t leak every time it rains. And it doesn’t leak while driving. Only sitting. Very frustrating. It’s a 13 Jk 2 dr soft top. Will be trying this fix today. So sick of my door panel and floor being wet. Ffs! Side note. Still love my Jeep though ☺️. Your is badass as well ✌🏾
Thank you. My JK started leaking in the top corner awhile ago, but only if it rained really hard and it wasn't a big pain to clean up. A few months later any light rain turns the entire front floor pan into a bathtub. I already know the dealerships don't care about customers, but my problem is that most mechanics in my area are closed or it takes weeks to get an appointment for so much as an oil change now with this bullshit police state lockdown. At least Home Depot is open and if I can solve my problem for 10 bucks or less, AWESOME! Going out there today to pick some up.
Adam Campbell I have had no leaks for over two years from doing this video. I have had hundreds of Jeepers say the same. I hope this helps you as well. Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!! Keep jeepin
This video was very helpful; it inspired me to study all of this very closely for a few days, once it stopped raining; in my case, I had one inch of water in the floorboard and on the drivers window arm-rest / upholstery; and, some water on the passenger-side carpet as well. I was studying how the water got into the car, with my wife inside the car, myself gently flooding the car with a garden hose (no sprayer); While it is very difficult to tell exactly how the water gets in, in my case it started somewhere on the header-seal, probably at the "molded-end" which is like hard-plastic and relies on the door-gasket; I bought the exact EPDM weather-stripping that Jeepin 4me is using in this video; and, a tube of black-silicone Permatex adhesive-sealant (very strong adhesive); Before I applied the weather stripping tape, I cleaned the leading edge of the windshield-header-seal (at the very top) of old adhesive; it appeared that the dealer or factory, had filled that leading edge with a fillet of some sort of adhesive (silicone / clear) that was coming loose from the header-seal as well as coming loose from the paint (body); I cleaned it really good with a shop cloth and picked out all the bits of cured silicone; Then, I opened that gap between seal and windshield frame with a plastic putty knife and blew the space behind the seal-gasket out with compressed air, for the full width of the vehicle; Then, I opened that same gap again, one inch at a time, and squirt the black permatex adhesive-sealant into that gap; behind the windshield-header seal - for the full length of the windshield, and followed down the ends of the header sealant to the "molded ends" and put silicone behind each of those and created a clean fillet of sealant as well; it is still curing; Cut your adhesive-sealant tube at the first - smallest diameter - on the plastic nozzle that comes with the silicone; I did not attempt to use a caulk-gun-sized tube, either, just a small three oz tube; you should be standing on your seats of the JK to do this; and remove both sides of the FREEDOM TOP, if you have one; wear some sneakers so you don't tear up your seats; this will give you a good vantage point; Bear in mind: Chrysler has put butyl behind the molded-ends already; you should see it; if it is not behind the molded end, they may have missed it at the factory; that entire seal has a adhesive tape on the backside (you peel a tape, and press it in and then roll it with a roller); if yours is loose, consider having the entire seal replaced or do it yourself; If the factory couldn't get this right, I don't know that I can trust the dealer on it (and there are specialists out there, so find one); As Jeepin 4me said: it may not be the cause of the issue; in my case, a gamble of $5 in adhesive sealant was my only risk; but, i had a big clue on mine: that fillet of clear silicone that had already been applied to the leading edge of the windshield-header-seal .. that was a huge CLUE - that I had not noticed until my two hours of testing with a garden hose the other day; I finally SAW IT ... clear silicone flaking off that little edge of the seal .. it was not much, maybe it was three milli-meters wide, but it looked pretty important! I went ahead and did the garden hose treatment, and it appears that this has fixed it; in my observation: you probably need to only do this at each end; if you read the shop manual from JEEP (the leak manual) you will see all the pain-staking butly and adhesive tape that is on the backside of the windshield-header-seal, so you can tell that these ends are both critical. I just went ahead and did the whole thing; I rehearsed this in my sleep last night, over-thinking it; it took me all of twenty or thirty minutes to clean the little gap between this seal (all one long piece, btw) and the body; get that silicone behind it, and then press down so that a little bit squeezes out, and then clean that up a bit with a finger and a paper towel (or ten); So, that is my experience with this same leak; The other bits may benefit from the same treatment; that hard-seal with the button at the door mid-point, could use some attention too, I am sure; Anyway, I think that the sealant was a better solution than a new seal ($100) because the windshield-header seal was working for the most part and it was very well adhered to the windshield-frame (mostly): but, pay really close attention to both ends of this long windshield-heder seal, those two molded ends are extremely critical. Cost, about $5 for the Permatex. I feel really lucky - because I have been studying this for weeks and deliberating over what to do with it; I hope that this helps. I still have the EPDM ready, just in case; Ffor the record, I know that this will not be my last leak on this vehicle - but I am learning to own a Jeep .. and the leak-issue was seriously disappointing, initially, but 30 years of driving Miatas has tempered my spirit on water ingress a bit; So, just own it ... it is a fact of owning a Jeep - go ahead and buy the tools and pieces you need to keep your Jeep dry inside and it will make you a lot happier in the long-run. At the same time, I got the courage to re-position the door a bit too (this did not solve the leak though); just to make sure the door closes easily; don't do this alone and don't do it if you have never done it before, please; And, the door latch-plate(s) is something everyone should learn how to adjust, it can make a big difference in how much one has to slam the door to get it to close; Chrysler did not do a good job on door fitment, and for the most part there are only a series of compromises you can make, to get a door-fitment, there is no ideal outcome for door-fitment on this model of vehicle;
Danica Joplin hope this helps, Jeep leaked are part of owning a Jeep. The factory doesn’t do such a great job with installing some of the seals, also great idea to put a protective rubber solution on seals to keep them soft (like Mother’s rubber conditioners).
After doing the weatherstripping trick my passenger side the door jam leak stopped but the carpet was still getting wet. I crawled under the dash and noticed a rust trail. I pulled out the speaker and found the culprit of the rust. The rust was coming from the clamp around the antenna grommet. Apparently water was making its way through the grommet. Black silicone to the rescue. Smeared a gob around the grommet and wire. I closed up the JKU and flooded the top with water. No more leak!
walked into the dealership and they quoted me 185$ an hour for water testing. Just to find the problem not even solved it. Told them hand me my keys back and found this video. This 7$ solution is alot cheaper than the kit that JEEPLEAKFIX offers as well. thanks.
Hope this helps you as it has many others including myself. I did this 2 1/2 years ago and I’ve had no issues sense. Thanks for watching remember to subscribe and share. Keep Jeep in
Thanks very much for the video. Super helpful. I did this but I cut the stripping in half and used one of the two “tubes”. It works great and was a little more flexible when routing. The key was following the path that you showed in the video.
Through owning six jeeps, I’ve learned that the dealership has as much knowledge as we do owning them, but we don’t charge ourselves astronomical prices. Remember to like share and subscribe and thanks for watching.
Jeep wrangler JK. Did this fix. Had water leaking at top of door. See 2:26 in video, i placed it exactly there and then the rest of the way down. Works incredibly, water now flows out exactly where I put the end of the D gasket.
Just did it to my 2016 JKU, had a flood of water on my passenger side every time it rains, I have the slush mats too, and water getting underneath them soaking the carpet. I bought the auto/ marine strip though, almost same pattern that interlocks with the current stripping, $6.99 for 10 feet, and the adhesive is great. Wiped down with 3 or 4 alcohol preps, measured and stuck on exactly like you did, we’ll see how things hold up with the next rain event. Gotta say one thing, I can tell the doors have a much better seal when closed, sure my ride will be quieter too.
@@preciouscrazy3118 yeah, but i also found a leak under the cowl, replaced the piece of tape they had over hole with a more permanent solution, and that was it.
Going to order some of this and try it out myself! I've had some difficulty pinpointing the exact spot of my leak, but suspect it's a similar issue. Appreciate the info, and the cheap solution.
Ralph Hersko fantastic, I hope this helps you as it has me and many other jeepers!! I did this 2 and half years ago and still dry with no issues!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!!!
I just did mine. Used Superstick Weatherstrip bought at O'Reilly auto parts. 7/16 thick by 11/16 wide x 8' long ended up being 2" short on psgr side hope I get good results did both sides. Supposed to get some rain through the overnight. Hopefully the stripping cures enough by late tonight.
Thanks! I still had that leak coming in - just not as bad. I added Gorilla Weatherproof Tape to it, right under my soft top in that gap - with the stripping it stopped the leak. Im under warranty - so I'll bring it to the dealer and show them exactly where the water is coming in.
Mike McWilliams being its an 08, check all your seals for ware before you do this fix. Whenever buying use you never know how the other owner treated or even check theses seals. I know that this fix has helped thousands of jeep owners leak issue as well as mine. Good luck and thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!
The seals seem to be in good shape. Got a storm last night and it was pouring buckets. The only place that leaked was that spot on the passenger side. Have a day off Thursday so for around $7 this is worth a shot. Wanted a 2dr wrangler for 20 years . A little water is not going to deter me. Lol
I just bought a 2014 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited October 2022. I have plastic flor mats and did not realize the carpet was completely wet. I love this video but was wondering if I can add the rubber gasket on the whole door? I was also wanting to add it to the rear doors. What is your thoughts on doing all the doors?
As you watch the video I did from the top of the A pillar to the bottom of the doors, you can do this all the way around but that won’t help. There are areas around the doors that do nothing but channel water, they don’t stop leaking. I will post another video very soon to show and explain in greater detail. Thanks again for watching and remember to like, share, and subscribe!
Why won't it help if I do the whole door? What area do you recommend for the rear door seals? The rubber gasket is very pliable, and I am leaning towards doing the whole door, front and rear. I've seen other videos where they do the whole door. They even sell their own overpriced rubber kits. I was considering buying until I saw your video. Your video is straightforward and directed for the Jeepers. I look forward to your next video.
I have the same exact leak except with a soft top. The plastic door surround meets and seams with the A pillar right in the middle of that area. Unfortunately I would have to place a new seal every time I took the top down and put it up again. I've tried many things so far and I'll keep on trying until I solve it. Thanks just the same for the vid.
I’ve notice more water in the backseat floor than I have up front on my jku. Do you think this will help prevent the water from getting to the back or do you think it would be something else? Thanks in advance!
So glad it helped, has helped me and many others...me no issues for almost years!! Thanks for watching and remember to subscribe and share!! Keep jeepin
I'm wondering what your opinion would be of Jeep service bulletin 23-037-16: Out of Tolerance Door and Windshield frame Gaps. I'm a little shorthanded to remove the top myself, but if you could demonstrate a way for one person to 'move' the top to perform the steps... I did buy the weather stripping though. I'd rather adjust the existing seals first though. Thanks for your posts, and your time.
Please try this fix first before spending on new seals, this fix has helped hundreds of Jeepers, fast and cheap!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!
Just ordered 10 metres of it; had to remove the two floor plugs and leave them off to let the rain water drain out when it rains, of course my carpet still gets wet but at least I don’t have a puddle. Will see if the weather seal fixes it for me.
I ripped out the sponge/foam tape under the plastic corner seals at the top front and rear of the door frame and ran this strip under the top rear corner seal and forward and over the front corner seal and down the way he did in this video. Seems to have solved my flooded driver floorboard when it rains/goes to the car wash.
Sarah Vander Linden the SQU number is V25BK, it is also sold on Amazon and Walmart. All Home Depot’s carry it. The size is 5/16x1/4. Hope this helps!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!
Good info in this video but in future could there be less movement on the camera as it is difficult to see exactly where to place the weather stripping.

I am so on this! I just parked facing down the hill and, after a huge rain last night my passenger side front floor is soaked. I figured it was coming from the top corner. Thanks so much for your video! O|||||||O

Do you have any recommendations on how to help seal up the rear tailgate glass to body? Getting water coming through the glass and inside my cargo area
PearlWhite 5Point7 hardtop or soft? If hard top has glass hinges ever been loosened, if so maybe out of lineament, if not glass struts may need to be replaced. You can replace rear window seal, if you use anything else window will not close all the way. Hope this helps, thanks for watching and remember to subscribe!
Rob DC I sat inside my Jeep and my daughter used a hose on shower spare run water over my door for 20mins, I located where the water was coming in and then did the repair...if you freedom tops leak, it could be several things: not secured properly- meaning wrong order of security latches, seals are hardening- need to use a rubber conditioner, do they leak from center, front or sides?? Hit me back up with more details, that way I can address the specific area!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!!

I was studying how the water got into the car, with my wife inside the car, myself gently flooding the car with a garden hose (no sprayer);
While it is very difficult to tell exactly how the water gets in, in my case it started somewhere on the header-seal, probably at the "molded-end" which is like hard-plastic and relies on the door-gasket;
I bought the exact EPDM weather-stripping that Jeepin 4me is using in this video; and, a tube of black-silicone Permatex adhesive-sealant (very strong adhesive);
Before I applied the weather stripping tape, I cleaned the leading edge of the windshield-header-seal (at the very top) of old adhesive; it appeared that the dealer or factory, had filled that leading edge with a fillet of some sort of adhesive (silicone / clear) that was coming loose from the header-seal as well as coming loose from the paint (body);
I cleaned it really good with a shop cloth and picked out all the bits of cured silicone;
Then, I opened that gap between seal and windshield frame with a plastic putty knife and blew the space behind the seal-gasket out with compressed air, for the full width of the vehicle;
Then, I opened that same gap again, one inch at a time, and squirt the black permatex adhesive-sealant into that gap; behind the windshield-header seal - for the full length of the windshield, and followed down the ends of the header sealant to the "molded ends" and put silicone behind each of those and created a clean fillet of sealant as well; it is still curing; Cut your adhesive-sealant tube at the first - smallest diameter - on the plastic nozzle that comes with the silicone; I did not attempt to use a caulk-gun-sized tube, either, just a small three oz tube; you should be standing on your seats of the JK to do this; and remove both sides of the FREEDOM TOP, if you have one; wear some sneakers so you don't tear up your seats; this will give you a good vantage point;
Bear in mind: Chrysler has put butyl behind the molded-ends already; you should see it; if it is not behind the molded end, they may have missed it at the factory; that entire seal has a adhesive tape on the backside (you peel a tape, and press it in and then roll it with a roller); if yours is loose, consider having the entire seal replaced or do it yourself; If the factory couldn't get this right, I don't know that I can trust the dealer on it (and there are specialists out there, so find one);
As Jeepin 4me said: it may not be the cause of the issue; in my case, a gamble of $5 in adhesive sealant was my only risk; but, i had a big clue on mine: that fillet of clear silicone that had already been applied to the leading edge of the windshield-header-seal .. that was a huge CLUE - that I had not noticed until my two hours of testing with a garden hose the other day; I finally SAW IT ... clear silicone flaking off that little edge of the seal .. it was not much, maybe it was three milli-meters wide, but it looked pretty important!
I went ahead and did the garden hose treatment, and it appears that this has fixed it; in my observation: you probably need to only do this at each end; if you read the shop manual from JEEP (the leak manual) you will see all the pain-staking butly and adhesive tape that is on the backside of the windshield-header-seal, so you can tell that these ends are both critical. I just went ahead and did the whole thing; I rehearsed this in my sleep last night, over-thinking it; it took me all of twenty or thirty minutes to clean the little gap between this seal (all one long piece, btw) and the body; get that silicone behind it, and then press down so that a little bit squeezes out, and then clean that up a bit with a finger and a paper towel (or ten); So, that is my experience with this same leak; The other bits may benefit from the same treatment; that hard-seal with the button at the door mid-point, could use some attention too, I am sure; Anyway, I think that the sealant was a better solution than a new seal ($100) because the windshield-header seal was working for the most part and it was very well adhered to the windshield-frame (mostly): but, pay really close attention to both ends of this long windshield-heder seal, those two molded ends are extremely critical. Cost, about $5 for the Permatex. I feel really lucky - because I have been studying this for weeks and deliberating over what to do with it; I hope that this helps. I still have the EPDM ready, just in case;
Ffor the record, I know that this will not be my last leak on this vehicle - but I am learning to own a Jeep .. and the leak-issue was seriously disappointing, initially, but 30 years of driving Miatas has tempered my spirit on water ingress a bit;
So, just own it ... it is a fact of owning a Jeep - go ahead and buy the tools and pieces you need to keep your Jeep dry inside and it will make you a lot happier in the long-run.
At the same time, I got the courage to re-position the door a bit too (this did not solve the leak though); just to make sure the door closes easily;
don't do this alone and don't do it if you have never done it before, please;
And, the door latch-plate(s) is something everyone should learn how to adjust, it can make a big difference in how much one has to slam the door to get it to close;
Chrysler did not do a good job on door fitment, and for the most part there are only a series of compromises you can make, to get a door-fitment, there is no ideal outcome for door-fitment on this model of vehicle;
My Jeep has some leaking issues that have gotten worse. So thanks for this. I will look it all over and see where this would be beneficial.
Danica Joplin hope this helps, Jeep leaked are part of owning a Jeep. The factory doesn’t do such a great job with installing some of the seals, also great idea to put a protective rubber solution on seals to keep them soft (like Mother’s rubber conditioners).
Thank you.
Thank you so much! Just picked up a 2014 Wrangler and the ds floorboard is wet!
walked into the dealership and they quoted me 185$ an hour for water testing. Just to find the problem not even solved it. Told them hand me my keys back and found this video. This 7$ solution is alot cheaper than the kit that JEEPLEAKFIX offers as well. thanks.
So glad this helped, please remember to like, share and subscribe!!
thank you! heading to my home depot or lowes to get some supplies. #JEEPLIFE!
Allen Herrera thanks for watching, hope this video helps solve your issue. Remember to like and subscribe!! New videos are coming!!
Ty I just got a jeep Wrangler and we just got some rain and have water on the inside. This helps a lot. I will be going to home Depot tomorrow.
Fantastic!! Thanks for watching and remember to like, share and subscribe!!
ALL HERO'S DONT WEAR CAPES
Awesome video! I’ve taken my JK to the dealer 3 times and they’ve never been able to fix my leaks. I’ll try this!
Michael Nolasco did it work for u
Through owning six jeeps, I’ve learned that the dealership has as much knowledge as we do owning them, but we don’t charge ourselves astronomical prices. Remember to like share and subscribe and thanks for watching.
Jeep wrangler JK. Did this fix. Had water leaking at top of door. See 2:26 in video, i placed it exactly there and then the rest of the way down. Works incredibly, water now flows out exactly where I put the end of the D gasket.
Great!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!
I'm having the same issue. 2015 jku and I'm definitely going to do this thank you.
Did it work?
@@preciouscrazy3118 yeah, but i also found a leak under the cowl, replaced the piece of tape they had over hole with a more permanent solution, and that was it.
Did you take off old seals or place over?
Going to order some of this and try it out myself! I've had some difficulty pinpointing the exact spot of my leak, but suspect it's a similar issue. Appreciate the info, and the cheap solution.
Ken B thanks for watching and just to let you know I have had no leak issues since resealing!!
Appreciate the update! My tape is on it's way. @@jeepin4me921

Thanks a ton for this! I knew there was a cheaper way, and I bought the foam seal. I'm goin' to Home Depot tomorrow. Appreciate it!

Thanks for posting this vid. I did this and it solved my issues.
Thanks! I still had that leak coming in - just not as bad. I added Gorilla Weatherproof Tape to it, right under my soft top in that gap - with the stripping it stopped the leak. Im under warranty - so I'll bring it to the dealer and show them exactly where the water is coming in.
Just bought my 1st Jeep . Used 08 wrangler Sahara. Same issue but on the passenger side. Gonna give this a shot. New top but not new seals.
Lol
Mike McWilliams fantastic, I hope fixes your leak and you enjoy your Jeep for many years to come! Take care and let me know how it goes!!
Fixed! Fixed ! Sweet baby Jesus it’s fixed ! Thanks !
Mike McWilliams FANTASTIC!! Please help my channel grow by following, recommending, sharing!!!! Take care and keep jeepin!!!
Gonna try this today. I got flat campers tape and it isn’t working on my passenger side. 🤞🏽 Thanks. You’re Jeep is so purdy!
Thanks for the video. Everyone kept telling me, its a jeep, it is supposed to leak....
haha
Jeep at dealer right now because of this. Just found this video. Unsure if it’s covered under the warranty. Thx for the video.
3Birds1Nerd hope they can find the issue and fix for you, if not don’t be discouraged it can fixed!
Can you give us answers on how you changed your interior sir 😭 I just bought this same jeep and need help fixing it up
I have the same exact leak except with a soft top. The plastic door surround meets and seams with the A pillar right in the middle of that area. Unfortunately I would have to place a new seal every time I took the top down and put it up again. I've tried many things so far and I'll keep on trying until I solve it. Thanks just the same for the vid.
Great video ! I want to say thanks for posting this video . I have exactly the same problem with my Jeep !
Thanks man. found about 2in of water in my floorboard this morning. Gonna give this a shot
cliffordcaliber hope this helps, I have had no leak issues since resealing!! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you sir for share with us cause my jk 2014 leaking too
I’ve notice more water in the backseat floor than I have up front on my jku. Do you think this will help prevent the water from getting to the back or do you think it would be something else? Thanks in advance!
Jeep stealerships giving this insightful video a down vote.
Thank you for sharing this. Cheers to you, sir.
So glad it helped, has helped me and many others...me no issues for almost years!! Thanks for watching and remember to subscribe and share!! Keep jeepin
@@jeepin4me921 Got it installed, today. Expecting rain tonight so we shall see how it holds up. I think it’s going to be great. 👍
I bought that at Wilco. Works great. Used it many places on my Jeep

Glad I could help, take care and keep jeepin!!
Mine is leaking in the exact spot! Gonna try this! Thank you!
I was about to order OEM door seals. I’ll give your fix a try. Thanks!
Please try this fix first before spending on new seals, this fix has helped hundreds of Jeepers, fast and cheap!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!

Thanks brother, been having a leak issue on my 2013!
TheArcadio mine is a 2013 as well, since I did this fix, no leak issues at all. Thanks for watching..
Thank you jeeper!! 👍🙏

Very simple looking fix,,, gonna try it this weekend on my Willys

Do you have a better picture of the weather stripping you used? I have looked on home depots website and can only find the small weather stripping...
Sarah Vander Linden the SQU number is V25BK, it is also sold on Amazon and Walmart. All Home Depot’s carry it. The size is 5/16x1/4. Hope this helps!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!
Thanks brother! Big help Is nice video it is help me a lot, god bless you

Good info in this video but in future could there be less movement on the camera as it is difficult to see exactly where to place the weather stripping.

Damnnnn same problem.. fixing the problem right away
Great video, thank you fir sharing
Awesome video and thank you.. My 2016 jk leaks very same place!! I will be fixing this now!😀👍
EVIN TACY thanks and I hope that this solves your leak issue!! Thanks for watching!
Nicely done. What is your strategy to locate where the water comes from? Install this first and see what happens? (Freedom Hardtop for me)
Rob DC I sat inside my Jeep and my daughter used a hose on shower spare run water over my door for 20mins, I located where the water was coming in and then did the repair...if you freedom tops leak, it could be several things: not secured properly- meaning wrong order of security latches, seals are hardening- need to use a rubber conditioner, do they leak from center, front or sides?? Hit me back up with more details, that way I can address the specific area!! Thanks again for watching and remember to subscribe and share!!!
