- Have you seen the off-brand drybrushes popping up all over Amazon.com? The ones that look like Artis Opus, but are definitely NOT Artis Opus.
Well, I bought a set to try out to see if they were worth your consideration. I was shocked to learn that they are very good, even at 1/10th of the price of the real deal.

Great find. The artist opus are already believed to be rebranded Rosemary dry brushes and those are still a pretty penny. A good upgrade from just makeup brushes it seems.
Rebranding from a reputable company makes sense. I've never used Rosemary & Co., but I've heard good thing about them. These feel like the usual Asian manufacturer trick of having some other company spend all the R&D money, and they just use those processes to make the same item, with a throwaway brand.
It might be worth it honestly cause I spent 6 or 7$ on 11 modlova brushes and I've only used them a few times there near ruined already but everyone knows brushes is a gamble you can get a citdel brush that falls apart after one mini or one that last year's all depends
These aren't holding up as well as I'd hoped. Though for the price point it's tough to complain too much. The brushes I use the most are splitting up pretty bad and the white bristles get stained pretty quick.
If you find a better alternative let me know. I'm game for exploring.
suggestion : use a textured pallet to get paint to proper level
I was using the texture palette from Artis Opus since I haven't made my own yet. It really does help.
@@YourAverageBearGaming i use dollar store cheap canvas
So wheres the link? Appreciated!
I've never added product links before, but since you asked: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09K74WTJH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
What is your dry brush palette ?
I use the Artis Opus graffiti variant: store.artis-opus.com/en-us/products/texture-palette-choose-from-4-options-preorder?variant=30301032415368
It's great, but a bit on the pricey side, so I am keeping my eyes open for some alternatives. If you find something else that works let me know!
