Actually the Fred and George figs were those same outfits when they give Harry the Marauder's Map (in PoA) and when they're organising bets at the Tri wizard Tournament (in GoF) so I like how they lined up the figures accessories for that.
I just buy a whole bunch, bring em home and feel for them there. Return the duplicates and get a refund for the ones I don't need. I always feel so skechy feeling through the bags at the store. Probably because I'm a 6'4" grown man..........lol

It would also be less recognisable to a lot of kids who’ve seen the movies but haven’t read the book and even to those who have read the books because people picture things differently. For marketing reasons they pretty much have to base it off of the movies even though the books are the true canon

Tip: you can put I white stud in top oh the butter beer to represent foam it fits perfectly and you can put it of Hermione’s cup to make it more accurate and create more variation between Ron and Hermione
I got my hands on both Dumbledore and Griphook. I love them. Both because of their printing and their accessories. I have been waiting for a newly molded Fawkes and a proper Sword of Gryffindor
I think that CMF series is pretty cool and got the Golden Trio, Ginny and Luna as well as some extra butterbeer mugs in 2021 to use as part of the annual Lego Christmas display, and it looked pretty good with them around the Lego Christmas tree.
Sirius Black was wearing a coat on top of his prison outfit, so it wouldnt make sense to put the prisoners arms on him because it would look like the coat is a vest. And in the lego figure you see the prisoner outfit is properly coloured its just the coat thats dark grey

Change Ron's torso to a dark blue jacket peice,give him the fluffy neck bracket thing and a sword,and you've got yourself a pretty decent Scott Pilgrim.
I actually really love ginny’s slug club mini figure, i love the hair, the dress is beautiful, ginny is on of my favourite characters. I do really want a yule ball ginny crazy bad. Also i wanted to point out that ginny isn’t from the scene where Draco was being taken out, thats from the dinner where they were eating ice cream and when she came she was crying because she fought with dean, she came late and harry stood up, you can tell because ginny comes with a ice cream.

The one thing they should’ve done with Ginny is make one of her expressions sad and her eyes a little red since when she arrives to the party she had just been crying.
So based on the minifigures, Lily has ginger hair and James has brown hair, but Harry has black hair. I didn't pay attention when I read the novel, but I think James' hair should be black?

So James and Lily’s ages in the movie aren’t the movies fault... their ages weren’t confirmed till the final book and the two actors had been cast by then... I’m not sure why JK made them so young compared to the actors that have already been cast but 🤷🏻♂️
Are the wands color in cmf accurate to the characters in the movie ? Im shocked that theres no Voldemort here, id like to see him in an attire Harry saw at the station. He looks very slick there 😙
I honestly thought Ginny's minifigure was supposed to be Madam Rosmerta when I first saw the images. And again, honestly, I'd rather a Rosmerta over a so-so Ginny. I was actually disappointed when I found out it wasn't her. Edit: hopefully, if we get a third series, we do get Rosmerta in there - or even better, a D2C Hogsmeade!!
I hope we get a chamber of secrets set whitch includes Moaning Murtles bathroom where we go into to go to the chamber whitch if we do I want the sword of Griffendore like in the movie and book or whatever sword sword Harry uses

Yes its expensive. Which is the main reason I don't collect CMF. I rarely buy CMF minifigs and when I do, its usually ones I really love. I wait and buy CMF parts and torsos from BL when available at a good price.

I like Ginny because this is the cheapest was to get her PERIOD. She only shows up in the really expensive sets

I got 3 today. Harry, Neville, and Kingsley. I noticed that Neville has shorter legs.

i remember being disappointed i couldn't ever get grip hook, then the sword came in a set every year after 🫥🤡

I think the line on Lily's torso is meant to be the bottom of her breasts. Hermione has a similar line too
