What a beautiful place to walk. Yes you can, yes you can, yes you can 🙌
What I noticed when watching through hikers a lot of carbs/ sweets were needed or used as a food source because it’s quick and easy energy but it conditions the body/cells into higher insulin use and the cravings would be super juiced because that’s the food source the body has become used to. Changing back to maybe more protein/good fat burning less carb would be a serious adjustment because even your gut biome would be used to carbs too. But you definitely have this you are a strong and beautiful person.

You are so right! We have been eating lots of carbs. It's a hard switch.

Your a good Chattanooga tourism ambassador.
Maybe a fèel good news story at the local tv station or newspaper/radio station, on your adventures and when back home, it's always ...Home sweet Home♡, ...in Chattanooga♡.
That exposure will help the Art.
I live in the southern sierra mtns just 15 miles west of Walker pass. Lots of great hiking here and applaud your dedication and perserverence on the trail, which will also be useful to keep up the keeping in shape training and weight management now.

Girl, I've lost 100 pounds in the last year... You, Juliane, Nic, Somewhere, and Bobby kept me inspired this summer/fall when I needed it. You've got a strong mind, you're doing great! Currently struggling with the body building muscle...and stuck at 160 myself. I just keep walking.

Thank you for taking us to the dirt with you. Happy to help encourage you! You are encouraging me too! Thank you! 😊
I'm in WA at the southern end of the Olympics. Spend most my time on trails in Olympic National Park. I love our giant fir and cedar trees!
It is super cool to see Chattanooga, the river walk, and the different trails. (Your trees are skinny 😂) I liked the monument area the other day too.
The van looks great! Exceptional job Bobby! You should consider being a painter or somethin. 😉
    Stay happy! 💜

I gained a lot of weight after I completed the AT in 2019…. hiker hunger is just so hard because it is so intense!!! And when food is finally freely available…. But know that you do look great even now! But health goals are also important so I am happy for you for pursuing them.
Things finally evened out for me once I got into a regular exercise routine and regular healthy food prep. The hiker hunger faded of course…
I get how hard it is right now!

This Oregonian was out your way just last week! I was in a beautiful forest just north of you near Dunlap. Returning home to the snow, rain a a little more dark than down south was a bit hard. I've feel like hibernating with a box of cookies. You got this!

Intermittent fasting is the best thing I lost 24 pounds within two months some weeks doing 48 hour fast and only having a four hour window to eat all the other days and you basically eat whatever you want.
