Just got my stage one clutch kit today for my 1000cc overland. Clutch tools showed up same time. If I hadn’t already worked 14 hours today I’d go outside and pull mine off. Excited to get this on. Got the air filter and muffler on its way too. Ima smoke my boy next time we ride. Yessss sir!
Mine came in the mail today and I just finished installing it. You really do need to bow up on it.
Great video! Well explained! Need to do mine soon.
Thank you
Awesome video showing the proper way to do this. A lot guys do it wrong and wonder why it feels power less , this is why, they preload the spring incorrectly. It's important to spin the sheave fixed to helix CLOCKWISE while holding bottom from moving.
Thats right! 👍
Hi shipping msc to germany ? Greatz
They did ship to Sweden.
This video was excellent. Step by step
can you explain what change b1, b2, and b3 will have? I want to lower my rpm, what would be the best setting?
I have the same question
I’m curious as well.
Thanks for this video. That's going to be helpful when I need to do this. 👍
Your welcome
@@RealTalkPowersports do you know anything about a cv tech clutch 6020-3001? Trying to take this clutch apart but have no knowledge. It came off of a American sports work bulldog700.
Keep making videos. Thanks
Thank you!!
This was an awesome video, great job guys.
Thanks so much
I'm in Canada and I just ordered the clutch from MSC for my 2021 cforce 600. Can't wait to get it and install it.
Did you end up installing it? Any difference? I ordered for my u600
@@fmxinsane
Yeah but the rpm on b3 is too high and you lose top speed. So I put it back on B1 and it's much better
@@mjuhanil what was your top speed? I have the uforce600 so its heavier. I think im going with bkt 28 so i think b3 will be fun to play in mud
@@fmxinsane
I don't know but at 70kmh it was screaming
Felicidades.muy buen video
Gracias por compartir.un saludo
What exactly does the recloking accomplish? Is it like lowering the gearing in a way?
Would this need to be done if I wanted to run 29.5 outlaws or any mud tire? What setting would you recommend?
Do you have a step by step install video for stage 1, 2 and 3?
Great video! Can you guys to one explaining shock adjustment? Mainly the fast/slow knobs on top and bottom of shocks?
Thank you very much.. ive actually done one of those videos before..
Just search my channel for cfmoto shocks
stage 3 clutch kit question . I noticed on MSC website , stage 3 will only work with larger tires . I’m running 28inch tired . Can I run the stage 3 or stick to stage 2 ?
Awesome vid. I do lots of both high speed and lots of rock crawling. What’s the best set up for that? 22 Z950 sport
I have 22 zforce 500trail with 30 inch crypted stage 3 mud in b1. Ecu tune. Uni and muffler upgrade. Question what would I gain going to b2? Stay in lower gear longer?
on a CF600 - everything stock - in which re-clock would provide less jerky starts / smoother take off? not sure what the differences is between clock settings and how each change would result in a different experience.
Is there a simple reason clocking setting do that the 600 revs lower at cruising speeds so that it won't revs 5000 rpm doing say 30 miles per hour?
Does this help with the high idling, using stock wheels and tires?
dear sir, i have z1000 2021 stock tires and i am driving in Heavy Sands Mountains in Middle East , what the best clocking for my situation , is it C1?
Hi , I purchased a kit from you and on the paper they say to clock it at b1 , b1 is almost at the right place on the helix do I need to turn the sheeve half a turn it seem very tight if I try to do it
I have a 2022 CF moto 800 ex with stock wheels 26x9-14 on front and 26x11-14 on the back What I would like to change is when you put it in gear it stalls until
you reach a higher RPM before the clutch will grab How would I adjust this to make it grab immediately without the stall when I put it in gear
Great videos for information on Cfmoto! I finally purchased a 2022 Cfmoto 600 and I was aware of the high rpm in low gear, although in person it feels unnatural. I use it for farm work and low speed trails so would prefer low end torque. What is the best clutch setting to lower RPM? Thank you for any input
How to best adjust the variator for racing on the CF MOTO 520 G2??
Blake, I am trying to get the primary clutch off. It’s the 18mm bolt reverse thread. It is so tight I can’t move it. What do I do?
Hello: could you help me, I have a cforce 520, what configuration do you recommend in secondary, to have strength, because I pull a lot of trailer.
I have heavy 27 “ mud tires on my cfmoto 600 what number should I use?
Ok , so what will this do? The reclock of the clutch?
Will reclocking wear belt faster?
Nice Video!! I want to re-clock my 500. Going to order your tool to help. If i just clock to C1, do i need any pullies or do anything to primary? Any idea if I will see much change with C1?
Hy, did you do the re clocking, and what is the diference?
Hi inhave a Zforce 800 trail, 2inch lift, 1.5 inch spacers , 28 inch tires , would i benefit to reclock to B2 ? Not interested in top speeds.
How long it that thread rod?
My 22 zforce 800ex takes for ever to engage.
guys is this the setting for a factory standard quad ie standard wheels and tyres
Hi there. Do you ship the hardened spreading tool to Germany? Or do you have any suggestions on me getting something like that?
Yes text 662-438-6407 tomorrow and ask about shipping to your address
What size are the nuts on both clutches
I'm thinking B3 is what I need as well. 2021 950 sport with 30 inch tires?
MSC has the perfect setup for your 950 with 30s
Hey Joel or Blake, How much are those two tools in the video?
89.99 for compressor tool and 29.99 for the clutch spreader tool
Bret I honestly am not sure. But you can text Dylan or Tisha at 662-438-6407
Or go to the MSC website and get the prices.
Can you change the belt without taking the clutches out
Yes but you will have to remove the primary clutch outer plate. And use the secondary spreader
I've seen this question go unanswered a few times so I'll give it a try. What does reclocking the secondary actually do?
It improves belt engagement and gives it more bottom end torque and mid range pull.
@@RealTalkPowersports For 28 inch tires would you recommend a B2 or B3 ?
@@av7447 did you get the answer mate.
I installed the clutch kit....I see when you guys were done you turned the top shieve clockwise and then it snaps back to the default position. Mine does not snap back like that, it just stays there (when its on the bench).... Is this ok? If I install it in B2 it snaps back, but not in B1..... any help would be greatly appreciated

So where do I position the helix when I have 30” tires, carbon fiber elbow, rjgw slip on muffler and 2” lift kit if that matters also a tune ecu… Do I still clock it at B1 ??? I drive trails and I do some mudding.
What did you end up doing because no one answered you
I clock it to B3
What do you gain by doing this
What size is the bolt used to spread the secondary? 8x1.25x70 is too big on my 2021 Cforce 600.
Not sure about the thread pitch or specific on the 600, but I heard in another video it was an M6.
In a pinch one of the 3 bolts on the cover work
OK I'm super confused. I got the stage 2 clutch kit for my CF moto 950. I'm running 32's on it and the instructions that came with my kit says to clock at B1 everything else I've seen says B3 if anybody could answer this for me today that'd be awesome because I wanna get this done.
Hey!! Definitely clock the stage 2 spring to B1
The new Stage 2 Secondary spring has a higher tension rate and requires us to click in the B1 position.
Before MSC developed the Stage 2 Kit, we would reclock the stock secondary spring to B3 to get more tension to Eliminate belt slip and also to get more low end torque and power through midrange.
But now with this new Stage 2 spring from MSC, we get better results by using it and Clocking it to B1 ..
i have a 2021 cfmoto 400 replace the drive belt twice now each time as soon as we install it breaks as soon as we’ll ride? any ideas as to why
Are you using oem belts? Aftermarket will not last. Also you have to break in a new belt for even wear before you drive it normally. Failure to so will make any belt fail prematurely.
How do I buy the tool?
So whats the point of this reclock? What does it help i just bought your stage 3 an this got me confused
The secondary spring in your Stage 3 kit is premium aggressive spring that is calibrated to work in the B1 position.
Thanks for the video. Not to knock off buying the tool to open up the secondary. Cfmoto give 3 bolts out the cover that work as well there 4 longer bolts than the rest one of those will work especially if one stuck out on the trail and needs away to open it up

So do reclocking to a specific set up make your ATV faster and if so what set up is it?
This is just a instructional video to help those who are installing a MSC clutch kit and need help doing the secondary correctly. Each MSC clutch kit is made specific to your machine and riding style.
I have a question… I just bought a CF moto 625. I have a parking brake lever on the right handle, if i walk off the atv without having the parking brake on there is a beeping noise, a loud one. Even when im shifting gear and move my weight a little off the seat sensor it starts to beep. Unplugging the wire made the beeping constant instead. Do you know how to get rid off this? Please, its driving me crazy…. I like your videos!
Take out your seat and disconnect the cable. Then you have make an electrical short to connector that the cable from the seat connects. Tsadaa! All quiet now
@@petrisandberg3887 It beeps constantly if i do that so no tadaaa ^^
@@FailStationAPB the beeber should stay quiet when the cirquit closes ie. you put a short to the connector in atv. If you just unplug it the cirquit stays open and beeper keeps screaming.
@@FailStationAPB ruclips.net/video/C-pfvbrJQb0/видео.html
@@petrisandberg3887 Oohh!! Now i understand what you mean, i will have to try that for sure! Thanks man
Hello blake would you be able to make a video of the hisun motors corp facility in McKinney Texas USA?
This is a cfmoto Chanel you ain’t got to ask about hisun on every video.
Hey Brayden Lowe.. I thank you for watching my videos.. I have responded to many of your comments in the past. If you could please just email me at blake_red_86@hotmail.com
@@RealTalkPowersports okay thank you!
I guess no one knows why we want to re-clock and what the different clock positions do.
Easy enough, anyone wanna donate a tool?
