Good overall information. When using the "Background app" clear cache first then close the app in question. The background app is a solid app that everyone needs to use.

Hi Richman, got a dilemma with my TV/Firestick after recently changing our BT supplier to EE here in UK. Issue is after the change over, a message appeard on my TV stating Join EE WiFi, which I’ve done, another message states Home Screen is currently Unavailable? I was controlling my Firestick via I Phone with Fire TV App, which is now not working and constantly Looking For Device?….any suggestions?
My fire stick keeps flashing the logo and goes black...continuously. I've held the play/pause button and select multiple times (for 5, 10, 20 seconds).

My fire stick has been on " Optimizing system storage and applications"...for almost 18 hours now. Says will take 10 minutes. How do I get it to stop this and actually work? Worked fine all day yesterday. Went to switch apps and it went to this screen. Now I can't get it to stop. It just restarts the process all over again when done. WTH do I do? I'm so confused...
He never explains how to get it off the Frozen black screen if unplugging it doesn't work never explains how to do a factory reset if it's frozen on the black screen
How come every time I watch a video on how to fix something the remote control is different or when trying to fix a computer the things they tell you to find aren't there when you eventually get into the place they tell you to go.🙄🙄
Video does not help if a brand new firestick shows no connection in the TV. And yes I have tried all the hdmi ports. A second stick I have had for some time wirks fine.

Nothing ive tried has worked so looks like I'll have to contact Amazon as message says to on error page, problem there is I've yet to jear of anyone being helped by them, especially when device is way past warranty period. Will update if any luck, if no update then it's due to no luck finding a fix

Idk if you fixed it but try a different cable/brick. It could also be a weak power source

You need to do the best display and audio settings

My 4K fire stick freezes almost everyday, twice today so far. I unplug the USB cable from the stick and plug it back in. It's getting tiresome...😤
