I would like to explain the institution of nomadism of the Kazakhs did not have a chaotic character of vagrancy like the Gypsies, the nomadism of the Kazakhs had a seasonal character - the movement of family clans along the same birth canals, wintering in the lowlands in the floodplains of rivers, and summer pastures in the foothills and was associated with the main type of activity of the Kazakhs, this is animal husbandry - cattle breeding, horse breeding, camel breeding and sheep breeding. Kazakhs are the main cattle breeders of Central Asia. In the historical past, the Kazakhs owned millions of herds of sheep, horses and cows, there were practically no poor people, everything was provided by the clan. Livestock products had a waste-free nature, this is shelter, clothing, food and money. Cattle were the main sources of wealth for the Kazakhs.
Turkics are not nomadic, we are called semi-nomadics, Türks in Anatolia had their own routes, if the clan gets bigger they younger branch move westward or south and create new routes to feed their animals

Some other bloggers can not understand the real taste of beshbarmak or kuyrdak just because they taste them at a cafe. Meanwhile, the best and most authentic food is a homemade. Hello everyone, I'm a girl from Kazakhstan, and I've always been interested in watching the analysis of other countries and accidentally came across this video about our society, a cool review! The only thing I would like to add is that in my country there has never been and has never existed a movie "Borata" it's a dirty fake that was not even filmed in Kazakhstan. We have a civil, hospitable country. Many Kazakhs acquaintances say that when they travel or move abroad - foreigners do not know about Kazakhstan or know because of the movie "Borat" I am glad that the analysis of food and culture is filmed in Kazakhstan itself! Like the author and all the best❤️
absolutely loved this , as someone from South Asia I knew nothing about this cuisine . So interesting and looks so tasty ! Will definitely pay khazakstan a visit , I loved the history aspect of it too. Keep doing these long videos please !!!!
Welcome to Qazaqstan and hope you have enjoyed your stay. I am Qazaq and thank you for raising the Uyghurs topic. They are our blood brothers, unfortunately, there is no union among Turkic nations...
as a qazaq I agree with you! I wish many uyghur people could move to Kazakhstan since it is better than living in China. here were are all the same turks, muslims. we are similar in almost every way. plus, Kazakhstan is a big country with a small population.
@wmgowmg0 I was in China during the last Ramadan. Our taxi driver was a Uyghur guy, and when we were at the roadside cafeteria, he told me that he couldn't pronounce, "I am fasting." He told me that he can be arrested immediately if he says "Ramadan", "oraza. " And, ethnic Uyghurs can not be applied for passports to go out of PRC...
@@elya31630 that's so messed up.. how are turks and most uyghurs outside China silent? I mean, some are pr0testing, but most are pretty quite about it. millions of turks around the world and can't help their own brothers..
@wmgowmg0 That's why we should unite, create Turan, and so we can protect all of Turks in China, in Russia. Nobody talks about Bashqorts, Tatars, Nogay, and other Turkic minorities inside Russia. They are being Rusified. No single school in their mother tongue.
Omg. When you smoke a Premium beef cut it gets that iridescent shine. I bet that horse meat was just bliss. Good video. I’m open to horse now 😂. Thanks Sunny. Keep on keeping on.
Thank you for visiting my country, and I'd want to say, that i appreciate that u tried homemade food too, cuz restaurants are not showing the real diet of local families, but alike pro max meals
I really like Bekruz, since the Uzbekistan series. He's hilarious and very well informed. Bekruz made me interested and want to go to Central Asia. Hope he will still be the one accompanying Sonny in other parts of Central Asia. They have this chemistry, like he is Sonny's brother from an Uzbek mother. 😅 "Trees, bro." 😂
Borat was filmed in Romania and actually Kazakhstan was chosen for this ”satire” because no one in America knew about its existence. Director himself said that it has nothing to do with the real country and in Kazakhstan this movie and association with it considers as insult
@helloworld-ti5zs Is Sasha the director though? He's the lead / main character but not the director. Feel like Sasha played plenty of more insulting roles to Muslims beyond Borat.
All this food looks super delicious, not so different from South African food in terms of they different types of meat we actually eat, the preparation might slight differ but I would enjoy food in this Country! We love meat in South Africa so we would blend very well in Kazakhstan
Love ya Sonny! Only this show can be funny, educational and eye opening all at the same time. Thanks for letting me experience the cultures of this world with you. The last episode with those kind Uyghur people were in equal parts heart-warming and heart-wrenching. It's something that makes me keep in mind that everyone just wants to live free and with dignity. A concept that get's more and more forgotten here in Central Europe where Anti Islamic feelings are on the rise. I wish you and your team the best.
Hello, Mr. Sonny and Bekruz! Welcome to Kazakstan!🇰🇿🤗 Thank you for such interesting amazing film about our kazak cuisine and culture! I'm glad to see that you enjoy our national food and showing it to all of the world! As a big fan of our national values and culture, my favourite dish is - kazak et with horse meat🥩 and kymyz (fermented horse milk)🍶. Most people also call the "kazak et" as "besbarmak", but this is mistaken new name. From the ancient time our people usually call it as "et" or "kazak et" or "asylğan et". Asylğan means boiled meat. Et - meat. I hope next time you will try also some kazak sweets and local fruites. Also you must ride the horse and try to hunt with eagle and visit the original wooden kazak house - "kiiz ui". Russians and others call it like yurt, but it's wrong name. Nomads never called it as yurt. Kazaks call it "kiiz ui", that means felt house. "Kiiz" is felt material from sheep wool and "ui" is house. In some South Kazak regions people also call it "kazak ui", that means "kazak house". Our nomadic house is great beautiful world of kazak hand made art and kazak smart architecture and every element in our houses has deep meaning and connection with nature!😍❤️ I'll be happy to be your guide next time and show you more about our culture, history and nature🇰🇿🤗🙏🏻 And also you can visit our other regions, we have beautiful nature in every region😍

As a Kazakh woman living in the west, I can confirm that the Meat-pocalypse continues in my home in the West. I cooked two types of chicken for lunch today and planned to continue with manty and slow-cooking beef for tomorrow. 😂😂😂 We do eat a lot of meat indeed! Instead of dough, I usually pair my meals with plenty of vegetables like broccoli and potatoes. Never tried camel meat though 🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫
A great episode. Great that you engaged with the uhygur situation in China, and sensitively with your hosts. Having travelled through central Asia and loved the region and the people it brought back great memories. Thank you.
Kazakhs didn't used to eat a lot, that's why they had caloric food. I remember great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers used to drink just tea with milk in the morning, then in the afternoon could drink a bowl of camel or horse milk and only in the evening they ate the main meal. they never suffered from obesity or other diseases, they lived about a hundred years. For a whole month a year they did not eat at all during the day, only broth with baursak before going to bed and shubat (camel's milk) in the morning

And, ethnic Uyghurs can not be applied for passports to go out of PRC...
Best country in the world and in Kazakhstan live very good people.
Thank you for visiting my country, and I'd want to say, that i appreciate that u tried homemade food too, cuz restaurants are not showing the real diet of local families, but alike pro max meals
What a beautiful country & amazing cuisine...
Come to Kazakhstan! I think you will like it)
I love how you captured the unique culture and food of Central Asia😊 Can’t wait to see what’s next on your journey! 🌍🍖
"Trees, bro." 😂
Well well well very nice 😂❤
Tbh I’ll love to travel to Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and try all local food 🥘
Borat was filmed in Romania and actually Kazakhstan was chosen for this ”satire” because no one in America knew about its existence. Director himself said that it has nothing to do with the real country and in Kazakhstan this movie and association with it considers as insult
in any case, he seriously damaged the reputation of the Kazakhs, so this does not justify his non-involvement in this!
I don't believe. Sasha is Jewish, he doesn't like muslims. That's the reason of his choice.
@helloworld-ti5zs Is Sasha the director though? He's the lead / main character but not the director. Feel like Sasha played plenty of more insulting roles to Muslims beyond Borat.
I love borat
@@JamesSheba-l2smarry him 😉
All this food looks super delicious, not so different from South African food in terms of they different types of meat we actually eat, the preparation might slight differ but I would enjoy food in this Country! We love meat in South Africa so we would blend very well in Kazakhstan
youre welcome in Kazakhstan ✊
10 minutes in and this is a fantastic episode.
Great convo, great one-liners. Very informative.
Bekruz knowledge of English idioms and puns is second to none
Wow 1 hour 43 minute episode.. it’s bascially a movie. You guys are awesome 🙌
Came for Kazakh cuisine, stayed for Bekruz. Thank you so much for the episode!
I bet there is no other food review channel better than this!!!! Been hooked up since beginning of the channel ❤ love ur work !!!
Again, a great content! 👍 long live kazakhstan! Btw, you should bring your guest with you in future videos. 😁
The Kazakh camel herder and an Uzbek Bekruz understand each other well, yet each speaks in their own language.👍
They have the same base language.
yes, cuz they have the same language called "Turkic"
They speak Russian that’s why
@@bridgerhone8590 No, they don't speak Russian, each of them speaks their own language! I'm sure of it because I speak Russian, Kazakh, and Uzbek.
And I understand them all perfectly.
@@ShokendiThey do speak Russian . I an sure. Especially Kazakh as he was born in the USSR, old enough.
Thank you for the cool video about our national foods🇰🇿. I would like more tourists from different countries to come to us after this video. Peace ✌🏼🫶

I was at the hospital then clinic and now I’m just on my bathroom floor smoking bongs trying too be okay. These videos let me binge and distract plus your team is amazing thank you for you content sunny
Be healthy!
Sonny, thank you very much! With love from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 ❤
Thanks!
Never tried camel meat though

A great episode. Great that you engaged with the uhygur situation in China, and sensitively with your hosts.
Having travelled through central Asia and loved the region and the people it brought back great memories. Thank you.
For some reason, them three have great chemistry with lowkey jokes on every minute of the video 🔥
The amount of self-control it takes to wait for the full episode to come out vs. watching it weekly bit-by-bit would make Jordan Peterson proud.
Why not do both?
This is what I do! I like being able to binge the whole episode! ❤❤
Same thing just longer Videos with them all together 😂
Repeating is not as sweet.
I watch each episode then watch the full one because I always miss something and like being surprised with what I didn't catch the first time around.

Sonny, this is so far the best episode you've done! So much to learn! Of course the others are very informative too.
