  • In this video I show you how i created my own Coffeebar to add some color and moodiness to my all white kitchen. To add more interest to this coffeecorner i really wanted a brass gallery rail on the shelf above it, but i found those are very expensive so I found a cheap and easy DIY option to make them myself!
This coffeebar style is perfect for any home, weather you have a small kitchen, or a big one. I hope I inspire you to create something like this yourself!
I am Naomi, based in the Netherlands and I am currently redesiging, renovating and DIY-ing our entire farmhouse. I am taking you along and truly hope to inspire you in some ways!

If you guys have any idea what to do with this kitchen, let me know! I'm willing to paint the kitchen cabinets and the walls... but what color!? 😂

Love how you created the railing for less! I too and running into the cost being more than I’d like.

Love the gallery rail! I bought wooden chess pieces and tried drilling into them the same way but it didn’t work for me at all! I keep breaking them. Tried smaller bits than bigger ones. They still break. Any best practices or ideas on how to successfully drill 6mm holes in those pawns?

Oh no! I'm sorry it didn't work for you!! I had to drill very very slowly without putting any pressure on it. You also don't want the drill to become hot so if that happens, let it cool off a bit before continuing. Maybe that helps? Good luck!

Where did you buy the chess pieces? Love this project!

Hi there! I think I bought them locally but you can get them anywhere on Amazon as well if you look for wooden chess sets. (Like here: l1nk.dev/4ESzJ) You can even buy sets with just pawns. Just make sure they’re made of wood and the sizes are right for your project! :)
