These new Forms just not allow new Jedi to grow quicker but also stronger as they have better basics than any Padawan from Old Jedi Order and then they still have everything in their hands to build their own form. Luke Skywalker is a hero to millions of fans worldwide! He bought hope to the galaxy. He helped his father redeam himself. He stopped the Empire. He never gave up. He is a hero. Its unfortunate Disney didn't respect the character 😔
In my opinion I definitely believe that Luke Skywalker had is own version of Mace Windu's Vaapad. If we take a look at Luke's duel against Vader in Return of the Jedi it was that version of Vaapad that overwhelmed Vader when he spoke of Leia turning to the darkside. Luke struck with such speed that Vader could not keep up and he had difficulty countering Luke's strike it was like Vader was seeing 100 or 1000 of Luke's strikes all at once. Luke definitely channeled his darkness into his lightsaber, and even after defeating his father Luke was able to pull himself back from the darkness using his version of Vaapad. He was indeed knowledgeable of it I would say at this point is where he learned it.
I would've never thought that a WWE professional wrestler would be the king of a lightsaber style. Lol However, I have wondered why Darth Vader's use of a unique mix of 3 forms wasn't considered its own lightsaber form. Noting that there is a form that came along as a mix of all the previous forms that had been developed before it.
I feel that since Luke allowed variations to the forms by those who learned them it stands to reason he developed his own special form suited to him and him alone. Much like Mace he used shatter points and could channel dark side as he was very much aware of his emotions. That was his greatest strength over again was his emotional stability as he knew more about himself and honestly wasn't stifled by the normal Jedi doctrine and inflexible teachers of the order. Obi wan, though a great Jedi, was not the best teacher for Anakin. It was only later he realized his mistakes as well as Yoda in the way they taught

In the post Jedi, Old Republic and Empire eras an decades. One can't pass on knowledge and training that they never got themselves. An makes sense he'd take a great many adults as students. Which is a way I think the Old School Yoda Era Jedi failed. Adults that have CHOSEN and determined to be a specific way in life are harder to sway. Especially if their abilities match what an order like the Jedi are looking for. Way harder to corrupt an anger an adult that's seen all the bad the Galaxy has already. That move called trakata and it's not a form, just a move. Each form includes multiple moves. Also, one of Luke's students - Jedi Master Corran Horn recreated this technique. Corran uses trakata in combat: "Shedao Shai towered over him, rising up on his tiptoes to deliver that final blow. The amphistaff rose and crashed down, set to bash the lightsaber back into its wielder, slaying an infidel with the blasphemous weapon he embraced. With a flick of his thumb, Corran killed the blade and sagged forward. Overbalanced because his weapon met no resistance, Shedao Shai buried his amphistaff deep in the ground and stumbled a half-step forward. The surprise registering on his face widened his eyes, then his lips peeled back in a feral grin as Corran pressed his lightsaber against the Yuuzhan Vong's stomach. The lightsaber hissed. Argent light poured from Shedao Shai's mouth a second before he vomited black blood and collapsed to the ground, his spine severed, his belly smoking." Source: The New Jedi Order - Dark Tide II: Ruin

He tapped into the Dark Side on occasion because his father is The Chosen One. But, I don't think he knew Vaapad?
Obi wan uses form 5 after Phantom Menace
@@leeko1arda Form 3 Soresu, not 5.
Obi-wan Kenobi famously became known as The Master of form 3 Soresu. Not merely 'a' master of the form: THE. MASTER. of form 3 Soresu.
This played a crucial role, to say a couple examples, in his defeat of General Grievous, as well as in his legendary defeat of Vader in Mustafar.
@@nyaalilithYes, he did defeat Vader by defending the entire fight and waited for him to make a mistake. The fight would have been over instantly if Vader simply used the force instead of the lightsaber.
@@leeko1ardahe uses form 4 in phantom menace Ataru then later masters form 3 soresu
Is there a lightsaber style for throwing your saber cus I would carry one in each hand one for throwing and the other for blocking
Easy answer; to learn and grow faster with those things involved.
I like form four form eight inform 7
So what you're telling me is that Kylo Wren and Rey were using strong style (the way of the Baseball bat)?
This is great idea what Luke did. He created new lightsaber forms. Easier, accessible. I like Makashi and Djem-So. May the Force be with you too😊 Have a great day too😊
Bro basically made being a Jedi an RPG :D
Form for form 7 and form 8 inform 4
Couldve been vaapad or possibly juyo, im not convinced that Mace wouldve made his technique widly known because of the ease to which a jedi could succumb to.the ds and for someone to.study on how to.counter it, but finding material regarding form 7 is more plausible simply bc that was ths same style Palp favored when he did duel and i could see him having info somewhere tucked away.
Anakin and Obi-was was the only ones who could roll a lightsaber in entire star wars cinematic so far. The others were amateurs to me, as i believe they holded lightsaber only during movie shooting 😂
If I used a dual bladed lightsaber I think I would use combination of Form 3, Form 5/7 and Form 6.
If we are referring to new Jedi Order. medium and fast or Medium and Strong.
So what did Klyo and Rey usebaby style?
The style of form plot armor. And form Mary Sue.
Baseball style.
I would want to know how to use Vapaad. But a more positive version like Luke's.
I'd make a form combo of 4,5, and 7.
Is this no longer just legends material? Did they make this canon again or something?
There shouldn't be a perfect form because it reduces Lightsaber combat lore and the complexity in its implications.
Day 276 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
7+3 given, Kenobi did it to Maul, padawan to Vapaad stance to jedi master and strike.
Can you cite your sources for this information or can someone tell me?
Amd then it all got lost again, in the sequels.
"Vah-pah'd" or "Vah paw'd" Not "Vape-pad"
In my personal canon my fanon Jedi Master taught Luke everything he knew including the Dark Side and More importantly his Master Mace Windu and His (My Jedi Master) Lightsaber Combat Form VII Vaapad
So the Jedi knight game saber strengths (blue, yellow, red) are forms?
I think he used vapad.
Luke landed 2 hits on Vader? I thought he only landed one.
Correction Luke didn’t make forms 8-10 he made 9-11 as form 8 already exists but it has the user turn there lightsaber on/off mid battle and nobody not the Jedi or the Sith use it so it became forgotten
That move called trakata and it's not a form, just a move. Each form includes multiple moves. Also, one of Luke's students - Jedi Master Corran Horn recreated this technique.
Corran uses trakata in combat:
"Shedao Shai towered over him, rising up on his tiptoes to deliver that final blow.
Argent light poured from Shedao Shai's mouth a second before he vomited black blood and collapsed to the ground, his spine severed, his belly smoking."

why reupload ?
I think i would do Djem So
I would be a dedicated student of form 7 mixing Joyu with Vapaad to find a balance within both the light and dark of the Star Wars Universe. In essence I would be like the Grey Jedi of old seeking equilibrium within and without the force. I find your video to be quiet good on the subject and applaud you in both your efforts and your accomplishments in the message delivered.
Shouldn't the forms be called Forms 9, 10, & 11 instead considering Trakata is considered Form 8
The lightsaber forms are overcomplicated.
There's no doubt in my mind that Luke is familiar with Vaapad and uses it selectively.
The EU is the true cannon , change my mind...
Jk that is impossible
i wonder if luke skywalker will show us his power in ahsoka season 2 stopping the blue face red eye demon
Short cuts don’t make good lightsaber duellist’s.
Sup!
Luke Skywalker style all the way!!!
Cool
Too bad he ends up a broken old man who gives up and milks aliens
that never happened, those things aren't canon
@@Dungeon_Dunce2011 lol I wish
@@lorenzog7811 what do you mean, those never happened, you cant convince me otherwise
@@Dungeon_Dunce2011 I'm not trying to I feel the same way

It's one of the only things I disagreed with master Luke and got lazy with even the names lol fast style, medium style ,🙄😵 .....form 5😳.....Atari🫨. They sound kooler 🤧. And it's not like there's weren't a bunch of jedis that joined Lukes new order who caught in the clone and wars, some in the high Republic era....so it's not like there weren't masters who were taught in the old forms and by after the empire time would be master's. All I'm saying my is like could've implemented the old forms again but didn't 🤪njejejhe
Nearly perfect, not a perfect like WBW Anakin Skywalker. You guys agree?
Who cares what he did? It does not matter because of the ST
be like water
I would study 2,3,5, and the footwork with acrobatics of form 4 as well to ensure that I would be up for the task of any challenge I may come across.
SQUIRREL!!
Great lore vid!! I did a serious, not 100% accurate, artistic martial arts based interpretation of the 5 main forms depicted in the Jedi Path. If you are ok to take a look and let me know what you think, it would be great 🙂
Using all seven forms individually seems like it was unnecessary specialization. Using three forms seems like practical adaptation.
Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris have done the same thing....
😁
The lightsaber staile had excellent staile on a power of All cownter the dark side in a sith
I am an instructor of Filipino martial arts of Kali, escrima, and arnis de mano. So, my light saber style would look like that.
I would study form V/Shien.
Luke skywalker over dosed on the force and died.
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😎 MTFBWY
It's too bad you don't link the strong style with Baylen. I believe he is using that Jedi "style"
Baylen is definitely using form 5, Luke's styles don't exist in canon
