What kinds of applications would this extension be useful for?
Great Video!! Here is one problem - If the boundary loop has another 2nd boundary loop outer side, the plug-in ignores the outer loop and forces the skin to form only to inner boundary. How do I make it work to form the skin to catch the loop at the outer side and not the inner side ??

Jayson, I enjoy your tutorials, they are very informative. I am having a problem with the free version on Sketchup, I don't get the same tool icons that you have and thus I can't perform all the moves that you do with the pro version. I'm running Windows 10, so my question is why can't I get the icons at the top of the screen? Thank you!
Michael, some of those icons are included already even into free version (talking about standard tools which you can turn on playing with view settings from main menu..). Please consider in future using keyboard's shortcuts insted of icons (then you don't need any toolbar which taking some space..)But probably you are interested about all extentions/plugins- which are available to download from 3D Warehouse, or from alternative link, mostly from developers sites..). How to download and install it? Believe Justin already made a such tutorial before. So keep digging , sooner or later you find it. Actually is very easy. It's worth to use plugins, coz it allows to speed up your projects a lot! 2 months ago I've just known that app like SketchUp exists. Now I'm going to code my own plugins. That's why I understand why Justin is so enthusiastic while explaining some details- indeed, it's a pure fun :))

Is it possible to change the pressure afterwards again? Or have I to delete the skin and make a new one?
You should be able to - however, it's always a good idea to keep your original frame as separate geometry in case you need to run it again. Thanks!

Yes - for some reason, the plugin developer created it so that it expires every 6 months or year or something, but if you just re-download it and re-install it when it expires, it works just fine. Thanks!

your videos is awesome ..but i have problem with this tool once create soap skin and choose the the amount i want hit the enter key and there is no geometry what so ever its just plain face unchangeable little help would be really appreciated
No idea - have you tried it with a simpler shape to make sure the extension works at all?

Hi , I know you busy.. but maybe you can help with airplane wing and propeller designs in sketchup... :)
I've been there (I wanted to achieve a pc cooler fan) and had a lot of difficulties, especially on the beginning. In my case CURVILOFT plugin was crucial- so play with it a little. It do a job ;) First of all try to create basic curve like in 9:39 which fit to your needs. After that think about face. Otherwise it will took you a week to complete that task (at least I needed that).Try to figure it out how your propellers should look like (it's the hardest part!). When done one of them -> make a component with it. Propably you will notice that front and rear face are different a little bit.. If you are interested- I have exported short movie from sketchup whitch stages I've made during projecting my fan, I can send you ;) maybe that'll help you somehow.

I don't know what this means. When you say all other functions, what exactly do you mean? Is SketchUp locked up so that no tools work at all?

every i use bubble, i mean generate soap bubble. i have a problem that the curve can't be work,,, the object or material still flat and can't be curvy. i do same step of your tutorial but the curve can't work everytime. so can you help me to solve this ?. i use sk 2016 by the way.

Did you adjust the pressure of the bubble? Did you try a different shape to make sure your shape isn't the problem?

Actually , i have entered the number of pressure but still can't work. And i do different shape (circle shape) and the result was no chance. Hehe.. any idea ?

@@aizat30 maybe we can try another bubble plug in. I remember that i install this version of my file any error issue during the installation proccess.
