For a Touring, looks definitely goes to the 991.2. For driving at the limit, 992 has the edge. For driving at normal legal speeds, hard to have a winner, both outstanding.

Hey, developing a new homologation, safety crash tests... for just a couple of GT3 touring is way to expensive. The GT3 are aside the 992 regular production, so modifying a couple of things (spoiler, gearbox, suspension management...) it's withing the regular homologated specs, adding 2 more seats... whole different story. The 991.2 is a better looking car. Do not like the bigger size on the 992 Do not like the plastic strip between the rear taillights. The front nose looks like a nose within a nose or a smaller mouth coming out of a bigger mouth, this really shows when the front is completely painted. 600 world wide, 47 RHD Rarer than 911 R
All that.. and asked for Porsche to buy one after 15 years of Porsche RS and GT3 fandom and was politely told (passive aggressive?) that there was no allocation left… to which as a family of Porsche fans and personally also a massive fan say “F-Off”… I’ll buy a second hand one!
So what? Call sooner, have a better relation with Porsche? Tf would they find you a car for if they don't have no more allocations? Have you helped the dealership make money? Have you used them for service? Don't whine, find someone selling an allocation for one and pay the premium. They will make money regardless. Or just show a big expensive pts spec request, they will start to like you quite quick.
GRANDE PORSCHE 👍🇮🇹👍
PDK ? Are you serious? Somebody wasted that valuable allocation!!
hard day at the office, eeh? ;)
991 is better looking. 992 looks like a cross between a catfish and a frog.
NO the 992 is NOT a better car. Just based one looks the 991.2 is better looking and the last of the analog dash. The 991.2 is a bit more raw which appeals to me.There will be many more 992's then 991.2 as the 991.2 only came at the end of the run and the 992 at the beginning also available with a PDK and for me the only way to have a Touring is with the motorsport tranny and the one piece carbon seats. The only thing the 992 has over the 991.2 is the front wishbone suspension
Not 510 hp
Is 502 hp.
991 looks much better
Still don't like the nostrils. The 1.2 is a nicer looking car.
WHUUUUT?!
I m owning 991 gt3T and I absolutely disagree that 992 is a better car! Main point you guys forgot is emotion you get from how the car sounds! 991 is pure loud, bass sound when you start and drive !!! 992 sounds like when my beautiful wife uses new hoover!! Quiet, no sound, no emotion, just do the job! Yes it is pretty but 991 is also very pretty plus you get more drama, more joy which you want from this kind of car! And sorry but f.ck double glazed windows I have on S class where it belongs, 991gt3 T is for real man, when he takes his babe for a pleasure ride!! This new cars are shit and I m so happy to have last proper 911 gt3T 👌
991.2 Touring FTW!
Q car ?!?!
Had the same thought myself. I think Q car might mean something different nowadays
why one is more overpriced
