my sentiments exactly. we have lived in a fast, short time when some who have come and gone have left a lot of great memories. R.I.P Lemmy, Eddie, Phil and the other Philip too.. Lynott. Also Gary Moore and now Jeff too. All of them and many more left so much musical entertainment for All of Us... to Live by.
Me too.. I don't want to be the guy from Iron maiden, or play gentle coffee shop noodles, I'm not interested in learning to be a proper bass player, there's already enough of them. I want to harness Lemmy's soul and just hammer.
That's the thing about Fast Eddie; the only frills are in his guitar playing. Just a plain wood finish strat with some mild tweaks wearing a classic black cut and melting ears.
100% Pure Motorhead !! God playing his bass + "Philthy Animal" beating on the drums (R.I.P.) + "Fast Eddie" making his guitar sing = ~ Rock N' Roll !! ~
Just look at this. Even Lemmy has realised that it was a bad move to remove Fast Eddie. This sound NEVER replicated by any other Motorhead line up. And this was it.....the sound......absolutely beautiful. The sound that made Motorhead.
Bet you a pound to a bucket of shit you will never forget where you were and what you were doing when you heard the Lemmster had passed away. I certainly never will and I will never forget that feeling of intense loss. RIP.
+Filton Kingswood I was sitting at my apartment when My friend texted me the news. Immediately called a few friends and hit the bars for jack and jokes... spent $70 that night, but it was all worth it.
I was in the studio with one of my previous bands, finished recording the rhythm section tracks. We were chilling in the control room, listening through the tracks, our manager had broke the news to us. Everyone had brushed it off, I left the control room and just broke down.
i remember. it was pretty late over here in the UK when it broke, I had just bedded down for the night and just checked FB one last time before going sleep and found out the news. gutting.
What a band they were and still are. And to this day there's nothing like them which in itself is a great achievement. Isn't it funny how they still fit together so well after all these years. The classic Sabbath line-up is the same.
They were ahead of the times they paved the way for so much good music.soon as Lemmy passed away there was no more Talent left left in music but the legend remains for those who won't let it die rock on♠️
+Trev Waters how they started? Do the names Lucas Fox and Larry Wallis mean anything to you? I agree, this was a great lineup, but how it started...well it just isn't.
True, but this was the line up that had the magic. the band "clicked" with these members, and went on to stardom with albums like Bomber, Ace of Spades, No Sleep Till Hammersmith, Iron Fist and Overkill.
Oh man, that sound. i tryed to do that with a jcm 800 and a precision bass many years ago, no deal. A friend came over with a a rickenbacker. I was close.
I know there was musical ideology differences between fast Eddie and the rest of the band but I too wish there was a chance of a reformation but then again I like the motorhead like up now..... I guess the moral is that we should be happy that there is still a motorhead an still people who are hard enough to listen to it :P

It's weird and heartbreaking to watch this and know all 3 of these titans are gone and Motorhead is no more.
They will never die ❤️❤️❤️🎵🎵🎵
They’ll always be ⚡️⚡️

I’d rather not be reminded of that but… yeah…
I love Lemmy's little smiles all the way through the song. Can tell how passionate he is about playing music.
His music
Lemmy is my inspiration to learn bass.
Joseph McDermott Tender
Definitely take it up, Mastering it is a lot harder than learning
Keep in mind he had a very off style of playing. No discouragement though, show your heros!

RIP the original motorhead
Not quite...
Not the original but in my opinion the best lineup
Larry Wallis was Motörhead’s original guitarist. And Lucas Fox was there original drummer.
Even without vocals this tune is great as always 🤘🤘
100% Pure Motorhead !! God playing his bass + "Philthy Animal" beating on the drums (R.I.P.) + "Fast Eddie" making his guitar sing = ~ Rock N' Roll !! ~
so fucking true :)
no Lemmy is burning in Hell right now
The best four minutes and fifty one seconds I've spent in years! (actually nine minutes and forty two seconds - I had to hear it again!).
if you look up " perfection" in the dictionary you see Philthy,Lemmy and Fast Eddie 's picture
And now... Eddie re-joined his old friends! Let’s make some noise in heaven, Motorhead!!!!
the legendary dirtiest rock rhythm section reunited are gonna RIP it up no matter where they are.
R.I.P. Lemmy & Philthy,you made a difference.
+Gold Fingers Get the drinks in Philthy ,I'll be along in a minute....Just going for a slash.
Here's to the dirtiest!
Yeah, there's a really 'cool and grimy feel to that trio's sound, of sweat and leather, tobacco, alcohol and lust.

In 1981 this set a path for me in music that still goes on today! Loud and proud! Rock will never die!!! It lives on and on!!!!!
Man Eddie Clark has his own style---Love It!

Love it how Lemmy mouths the lyrics- eyes closed.😎🤘
Fantastic
I saw this line up.... I was very young. They looked like giants Through the smoke.. still the loudest show I ever saw.. R.I.P guys.
Have seen so many bands but Motorhead were the loudest by far.
That was like wearing an old pair of shoes...they still fit 🖤🖤🤘🤘
After years they were still rockin'. 2 months was enough to take 2/3 of this great line up away fo afterlife.
I WILL CRY TILL THE DAY I DIE HOW I LOVE THIS LINE UP!
Great 👍🤘🔥, like 👍, 🎼💯👍🤘♠️, Mōtorhead Forever 🤘, Saludos Bro 🤘
That little smile on Lemmy’s face at 1:37 . . . it’s almost a chuckle, makes you wonder what he’s remembering at that moment
Hardly anything warms my heart anymore.
But that did.
He hears Philthy playing the little accents properly - something brutish Mikkey never harnessed: swinging and playing FOR the song ;-)
Killer, just like we are the road crew video. A Bbc session.
What a band they were and still are. And to this day there's nothing like them which in itself is a great achievement. Isn't it funny how they still fit together so well after all these years. The classic Sabbath line-up is the same.
Some things were simply meant to be my friend 🖤
The "RattPack" is Dead. RIP Eddie, Lemmy, Phil. See you later. Motörhead The Best!!
Heartwarming to see the boys at it again like that looking back from 2021
if there's a rock n roll heaven then Phil and Lemmy are the rythym section.
They were ahead of the times they paved the way for so much good music.soon as Lemmy passed away there was no more Talent left left in music but the legend remains for those who won't let it die rock on♠️
Lemmy the Image, Eddie the Musician, Philthy the animal, Motorhead as it started and boy, i wish it had stayed!!!!!
I think all of them are great musicians! Because all of them together is what motorhead is!! But plus that Lemmy adds some image to the band..
Trev Waters Lemmy is not an image brother, he is Motörhead and Motörhead is Lemmy.
+Trev Waters how they started? Do the names Lucas Fox and Larry Wallis mean anything to you? I agree, this was a great lineup, but how it started...well it just isn't.

I agree 100% papawx3
rock n roll trinity. never duplicated.
This was taken from a program called "classic albums"... they had not played together for years ...even lemmy says that they still fkn tight..!...
'Classic' doesn't cover it - one of the all-time-great lineups, and a kick-butt song. Rest in peace, guys; your thunder remains.
The original three rip all legends never forget them keep listening
my favourite motorhead song!
3:16 i love the guitar tone Eddie hits, its faster and better than the original IMO
r.i.p boys, The greatest rock 'n' roll band ever.
Killer version! Original line-up!
Eduardo Barrozo its sad that Eddie is on a green screen on this one..
Fast Eddie Rocks
Miss these guys🤘❤ it's all I can say..❤🤘

Love Lemmy's distorted sound and that kick ass guitar solo!
What an absolute shame Eddie was kicked out, the end of the greatest band ever, classic riffs Ed
Oh man, that sound. i tryed to do that with a jcm 800 and a precision bass many years ago, no deal. A friend came over with a a rickenbacker. I was close.
Was it a Fender? Cause Fender basses are shit if you want to play Motörhead
@@SLAYER.APO.VOLO. jajaja its true
Need that mudbucker in there.
RIP Lemmy,Philtty Eddie thé Best line up Motorhead !👍💪🙏❤
White boots with the Prussian Eagle on them? That's metal.

What fucken great music these three banditos left for us to enjoy!! 🤟🏻
It was 2005 and was part of the "Classic Albums" T.V. documentary series ("Ace of Spades" being the subject of this episode).
So glad i saw them play at Novarock 2015.
THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD
Ich weiß zwar nicht, wer das geschickt hat, aber vielen Dank dafür.
T.
P.s. ich habe einen kleinen Verdacht. 👀
Thanks for sharing. Very 😎. Incredible
We will always miss them 🖤
A thing of beauty right there 🖤
We'll never see they're like again. God bless.
R.I.P Boys.

Hmm I think Eddie and Lemmy love the same blues bands when they were young.
Love it

The chase is better than the catch you know...🤘🎸😌
VERY CLEVER ! WELL DONE !
So this was kind of a reunion?
We are motorhead we play rock n roll

This just ain't the same without that, quoting Jarvis Cocker, being trapped in a sandstom vocals.
