3:06 "It's handy for people to be able to blame Republicans for stalling Ukraine aid." Mr. Foreman, it's not "handy," it's simply the truth. The Senate passed Ukraine aid in a bipartisan fashion months ago. There are more than enough votes to pass it in the House as well, but the REPUBLICAN candidate Trump has ordered the REPUBLICAN Speaker of the House NOT TO CALL A VOTE. How is this not an actual Republican issue? And what amount of leadership do you think any human could muster to sway Trump on this point? Remember Trump has been bought with Putin, potentially with billions. He's not going to simply allow a vote.

There is a major problem with the reasoning here : 'It makes no sense to attack NATO because ...' the very same reasoning convinced most people that Russia wouldn't attack Ukraine. What is rational to us *is not what is rational to Russia and Putin.*
Further there is a difference between attacking NATO and attacking Article 5. Finding ways to undermine western cohesion doesn't have to wait for 5 years of rebuilding forces. Additionally, *Putin might understand the U.S.'s anemic response to Ukraine as a green light to taking a handful of square kilometers from a member of NATO* and counting on the West to not activate article 5 for that small bit of land.

    • @skullsaintdead

You're so wrong. If you have an agreement, you have an agreement, a treaty. Do not think that NATO would fail to declare war on the aggressor. It will happen, whatever you might think. Everyone was afraid in the Second World War but when Germany invaded Poland, remember we had signed a treaty with Poland, The Warsaw Pact, and on the next day, the UK declared war on Germany.
      These are all facts.
NATO fighting Russia is a completely different prospect with all the aerial supremacy that NATO has. Remember, if your word is not honoured, you are defeated by inaction. Therefore, if you have signed a treaty, you are bound by it or your words mean nothing and the whole world would be at war anyway.

The „easier-guinea -pigs-in-moscow“-theory does not make sense to me, if you count in that the power of any weapon can be greatly enhanced and multiplied by uncertainty - and part of that would be, keeping the other side guessing, what it is and who is employing it… especially if the technical aspects would in fact be banal. …
And the coincidental multiplication of Christ in the US and Pu*land at the same time seems odd. 😂
BTW: I recommend leaving any institutional religious organisation (but not faith in the creator of life). human beings are incapable of handling the accumulation of power constructively. It must always be distributed.
