The glue i would use to seal it, is thin super glue. You can find it on Amazon, it is called starbong. They also make good medium superglue.
@TheShedChronicles for you to use the glue or the oil base I just put the paint straight to the wood but it's not fixed the paint falls off
The paint will definitely stick to the bait better if you have some kinda of wood sealer on.
