I've been natural for 3 years and I'm working to get my hair this length, mostly just to see if I can do it. She said it took her about 6 years. It's crazy to see how little things I do to keep my hair moisturized make such a dramatic impact on the growth.

I feel you. When I was younger my hair was to my knees and I would get up in the night to pee and forget to lift it and in would bunk in the toilet and I would have to shower before I go back to bed.
Looks beautiful and healthy! My daughter's hair grows like that and been going to the hair salon since she was 4 yrs old. She's donated it to locs of love several times in the past. She's grown n married now and gets it colored and wear it naturally curly or gets it flat ironed. Now she can't donate it but it still looks beautiful!

Mine is the same length as yours. Yours looks way thicker than mine! Lovely! I understand needing to cut some because I am always tucking mine in my pants, getting it caught everywhere. I love my hair long but there is a limit! Yours is fantastic!

Beautiful hair! It looks much better after the trim, shinier and with more bounce. It's a god thing you got rid of the split ends because they can travel up the hair shaft and do more damage. Your hair looks nice and fresh now.

i would love to grow my hair this long! it use to be long and not sure why its stopping! ive been going natural since forever! only difference i feel is thicker and maybe an inch or two longer! ugh... what am i doing wrong?! if i ever be able to sit on my hair again! i will never cut! but, its true you do end up slamming it in doors! my problem , when it gets longer is clothes like bottons etc!
