Let me know your thoughts on where your head is at with regards to the launch of FM25. Im dropping a new video soon that covers my own personal views on how I feel, so make sure you subscribe to watch that one too.
SI have enough good faith from me that they've earned over the years. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and trust them. Losing international management is a blow IMO, but let's see what it looks like on 26 November and then make the judgement.
Brilliant, sensible way to look at what we have so far. It is unfortunate that some creators have opted to feed the outrage for a bit of money, sad really. Also sad to see the sexism that has run wild over the ridiculous belief that the women's game is why they removed International management. Glad to see that you are taking the adult approach, which is just to wait and see what happens.
Thanks for the fair, balanced and honest video Tony. I'm hoping the unique stories allows you to build your managers back story(Bob was in retail and was manager at a struggling Screwfix and had turned the store around winning store of the year, he'd always played FM over the years and decided to see if his skills were transferable into the real world of football)
I have tried fair, balanced and honesty, and only time will tell whether it’s a viable way to make RUclips content. I suspect I may need to go down the route of sensationalism and hysteria in order to generate more views, but I quite like my way.
Your point about international football and women's football is spot on, and the decision to remove it (particularly with the women's Euro's next summer) strikes me as an indicator of what a state FM25 is in at the moment. SI know however their user base is extremely loyal and will buy it almost come what may and thus think they can get away with what looks like being a pretty sub-par version, at least initially. I've bought every version since CM2 and know I will almost certainly end up buying FM25. That said there's a good chance for the first time since you stopped having to go an actual shop to buy it I won't have the new game on launch day (particularly if there's no beta).
I disagree with your bit about "the state of FM25." They are making the game from scratch. As Miles said in his blog, if features aren't upto the standard they won't be in the game. International management has always been poor in the game, I would rather it be taken out and overhauled for it to be as good as it can be in the future, rather than it to be put in the game, but be poor. It wouldn't have been a decision SI took lightly
@@MattLester1988 My point is bringing in women's football but taking out international management when the latter is important to the women's game is clearly a sign that all is not well. Women's football was announced in 2021 and it was known they were recruiting Unity developers a long time ago as well. So to announce a delay and removal of features a couple of months before launch can not be taken as anything other than an indication of quite serious problems with the game.
The Steam screenshots are the mandatory 3 needed (and they are wip) to be allowed to put your game on Steam. - Its fine, its fine. Its fine? As a father of a football playing daughter, its about bloody time. Every time she’s asked me if she can manage her favourite players I’ve had to say no up till now.
I love that your daughter now gets a chance to manager her favourite players. This is what FM is all about, and I’m really excited to see a whole new audience get to enjoy the game the same way we do.
Yeah it’s absolutely not Fran Kirby’s profile. Partly because they want to keep all the relevant info for next weeks update which is about the women’s game.
I’ve been playing since 99.. it’s peculiar that you can buy the game now, but you don’t know what you’re getting. Don’t care about women’s football, but cool for those who does and maybe you can attract more women into the sport. I do like playing draft, but it’s hugely underdeveloped. It’s so lacking. Ultimately my biggest fear is, that the new graphics messes with the engine and what goes down under the hood.
I think Premier League licensing is a negative. It costs a lot of money for a purely cosmetic gain. Taking international management out is a very bad move. I remember 20 years ago thinking that it was bad that my LMA game didn't have international management so for a game as advanced as FM to drop it is ridiculous. Given that international football is much stronger than domestic football in women's football makes it doubly bad.
Personally I couldn’t give a toss about the premier league licensing as I don’t manage there, but for the casual player (of which there’s probably about 80%) they’ll love the fact that the premier league license is in and it’ll give them joy for the 3 seasons that they play the game.
I believe that the future add ons will have to be paid for.shame been playing this game since its launch back in 1992. I wasn't very good at the game then and have not inproved since. It will be the first time I will NOT be buying this version
I’m sure they will be. There’s been a few areas where they’ve had to balance how the women’s game works with regards to league reputation and player ability in relation to the men’s game.
@@JP_LDN582 Given it's a PC game, obviously not. I think you heard someone call it a 'mObIlE gAmE' once and decided to base your whole opinion on that. Personally, I'm going to actually wait and see something concrete before forming an opinion, but I'm weird like that

I've been saying this exact same thing since the first dev blog! Good to know someone else has the same opinion
Love this comment. Agree 100%. Let’s see what happens.
Hang on, if we all start to agree, does this mean YT will limit our reach? 😂
its a tablet game lmao

Oh hello! A lovely surprise!!
Hello Mr Mustermann. My word, things look different around here
Kirbys players info section on the right side is the same as Ian Burn's player info section on the next screen shot. That's why her height is wrong.

There’s obviously no requirement to pre order. You could wait and see what it looks like then make a decision.
I know I showed you where the chalkboard was! 😂😂
You did. You might have to show me where they put it in the data hub next 😂

I can’t see them making payable DLC. The features that have been removed will return in the future.
