Fc Vaduz was my FM24 save, its got a little easier than it used to be. As UEFA have brought in the extra places for the champions league based on the previous seasons coefficient rankings, if you do well in the conference league (quarters or semi final) you usually gain enough points to be one of the top 2 in the rankings and get the extra spot in the champions league. I never got a chance to play in the europa league once
The FM save whisperer is back! One of my favourite parts of the FM cycle. Llama bringing colour and imagination to this amazing game, thanks so much, this is filed under ‘I’ for Inspiration.❤
Alternate choices: B - Bordeaux: A former Ligue 1 club which was folded at the end of 2023/24 season. D - MSV Duisburg: Former Bundesliga team who fell to the Regionalliga (German 4th tier) for the first time in its history. I - Inverness Caledonian Thistle: A Scottish professional football club fell to the 3rd tier for the first time in many years. The club is also currently struggling in terms of league and financial performances. K - Kyoto Sanga: A one-time winner of the Emperor's Cup. Kyoto Sanga is one of the smaller clubs in J1 League based in one of the largest cities in Japan. N - Negeri Sembilan FC: A former Malaysian Super League champion which is now among the clubs who struggled in the said league. R - AS Reggina: A former Serie A football club who faced bankruptcy for the second time in 2023 who is now currently in the 4th tier of Italian football. Y - Yeovil Town: Currently in the National League, Yeovil recently faced a dramatic fall from grace from the 2nd to the 6th tier in 10 years who only gained an upward trajectory by winning the National League South in 2023/24 season.
A great save i did in FM24 was RFK Novi Sad in the serbian second divison, the team is from Serbias second biggest city (Novi Sad), and has never been in the top flight. A team outside Belgrade has never won the serbian championship (Red Star, Partizan and Obilic) The goal of the save is to take the power in the home league from the Belgrade clubs and establish yourself in Europe. Good luck!
I did Novi Sad too. Had a couple of great youth intakes and finished 4th in first year in the top division....then almost all if them were bought by big clubs. Never got near the top after that
Maybe you mentioned it for last year, but my team AS Saint-Étienne, one of the biggest clubs in France, just got back in the top flight and recently got bought by a canadian society, which could very fun for this year
They've been a great save for the last couple of years, since PSG overtook them in terms of the number of Ligue 1 titles won. Somebody needs to return Les Verts to the top of the leaderboard
Omiya Ardija also has a women's team called VENTUS, so it would be interesting to watch them play there as well. Omiya Ardija is also the former club of Norio Sasaki, who was the manager when the Japanese women's national team won the World Cup.
At a recent supporters' meeting, Mario Gomez stated clearly that "we are committed to women's football," however, the WE League, Japan's women's league, to which Omiya Ardija VENTUS belongs, has just begun the 24-25 season, so this season is considered a transitional period, and real changes will likely not be seen until the 25-26 season.
For D, the Double Pentagon/Hexagon (with OFC) challenge (will need some custom made leagues and competitions) Win the men's and women's champion's league in each federation, if you want to make it harder you can add both Club World Cups, even harder each the 12 international federation trophies and the men's and women's world cups.
I'm 14 seasons in with AFC DWS, started in the 7th tier in the Netherlands and have just qualified for the league phase of the Europa Conference League. Hoping to win their second Eredivisie title in future (they first won it in 1964, the last team to win that don't play in red) and then the European cup
i did a save with nac breda great club in the dutch first division (got promoted this year so in the second division this year) won 3 conference leagues in 10 years absolut beast save and tacticts now 20 years into it and got 9 eredivisie titels and 3 conference and europa leagues so yeah great save and a fun idea
There's a lot of apprehension about the game, but SI have not really told us anything yet. We're not worried until there is something more concrete to be concerned about Thanks for the support on this video - it's hugely appreciated
Another O option. Orlando Pride. They weren't even tipped to make the playoffs, they missed them lasg season. They're now 3 games away from an unbeaten season (which would be the 1st ever in NWSL history), already equalled the most points and wins in an NWSL season, equalled the most clean sheets in an NWSL season and currently have the longest unbeaten run in NWSL history at 24 games (1 game is from last season), they also have the greatest women's player of all-time in Marta (although she could retire quickly in game, women play longer normally but idk if FM will account for that hopefully they will), can you match that season.
That is excellent information. We'll do a separate video on save ideas for the women's game once there is confirmation of which leagues will be involved
another idea for s: Sønderjyske in Denmark. The club from Southern Jutland got promoted to the top division this past season after 2 seasons in the second tier, and has seen some success in recent years, winning the Danish cup in 2019-20. The club has been a part of a number of incredible players' careers, including Roma striker and last season's LaLiga top scorer Artem Dovbyk, Sociedad's record transfer Orri Oskarsson, and Benfica and Danish national team player Alexander Bah to name a few. The club also has a strong Icelandic presence, with at least one Icelandic player in the side since the mid-2000s. Can you finally bring a league title outside of Copenhagen and Northern Jutland for the first time, while still preserving the Icelandic impact on the club?
@TheManagersSeat I'm abit torn atm on my save it's either a German Journeyman stating at either Hannover,Kaiserslautern,Nurnberg or Fortuna Dusseldorf and just see we're it takes me in Germany or starting in Either Norway Sweden or Denmark and go from their and do a journeyman save in Europe
Ajax would be fun or build a nation with First Vienna. I was think maybe doing a regonaire with Truro City (did a regonnaire with Guiseley on FM24) signing only players from Cornwall region. Scottish Queens Park would be fun..So many cool fun saves
Sound like a real challenge. In an FM a long time ago, I managed a team in Northern Ireland called Oxford United Stars - I wonder whether the two are linked?
Absolutely. The obvious candidate for a rebuild would be Akademisk Boldklub, a side from Gladsaxe, near Copenhagen. They are 9 times Danish champions, but haven't won it since the late 60's and are currently in the third division For an even tougher challenge, check out Young Boys FD, who I nearly included in this video. They were formed by the Danish version of the YMCA in Silkeborg. As the name suggests, the club has links to the Church. In Scandinavia, the YMCA is known as KFUM, and KFUM Oslo recently made it all the way to the Norwegian top division. Could you do the same with Young Boys FD?
@@TheManagersSeat nice 1 I just done my first 1 last and got a couple more booked in, I loved it, would u be interested in becoming a guest on my gaming podcast talk about ur love for fm and all things gaming
Excellent as ever :) But not a single women’s side? Is this just because the leagues aren’t announced yet? Will you do a women’s football video? Feels like the most obvious places for new save ideas seen as no one has managed any of them yet in FM.
Impossible to include any women's teams until we get some clues as to which leagues will be included in FM25. The only leagues I would bet my house on being included would be the top divisions in France, Spain and England, plus the USA. I'd rather wait until we know more and make a separate video, rather than include ideas that may not be playable
Hi quick question to anyone who can answer, ive registered 8 home grown players to my team, and I have a team number of 23 out of 25 selected, but when I buy a new foreign player, and I go to the contract discussion, all the options go red, and it doesn't allow me to change anything, it doesn't even give me a confirm option, all I says is walk away, can anyone tell me why I ain't allowed to buy any more players, or is it simply I've reached the max number of over seas players I can buy, or is it something else ( as this has become rather annoying), hope someone can offer some advice.
@@TheManagersSeat 1st season I won the league and Europa league. 2nd season lost the league by goal difference knocked out the champions league by psg in r16. But I have bought roony bardghji, thiago almada, johan bakayoko daouda guindo aswelll as keeping most of the ajax talent like borges, hato, bobby etc season 3 is early on

Best save idea for FM25 - Save your money and wait for FM26.
Same here I think, tho I might get an updated DB for FM24 and do a challenge on that game instead :)
Facts
Yup, don't touch the dumpster fire unless you have GamePass.
Seems SI is asking YTubers to do damage limitation on this one.
I'm having that idea since the first time they talked about it. When FM suffers major changes generally the first game with them is not the best.
And what if enough of us do that and there is never FM26?
