    What is your view on the fact that the Z500 series fuel tanks - do NOT have a drain plug..... so emptying them requires a lengthy time of pump/syphoning them, then suction draining of the fuel lines from each tank, then after that you still have fuel in the tanks that require "mopping" out with a douche hand made mop (about a cup and a half) to actually empty the tanks.... I know because I have just done this to remove contaminated fuel sold to me.... (water and tank sludge) and I am still to get the machine running smooth... I have a Z554 (ride on)- not stand on....but the basics are similar...
    Have you ever had to drain and flush the fuel system?
    If you have a better solution I am all ears... here in Australia (where we have BAD support from our distributor) and we spend near AUD $15,000 for a Z554, mine has just 70 hours on it.

      Not good mate 😕 in my opinion it’s not the best design. Hopefully they can improve on this in later models. I’m very careful where I fill up at to try and avoid getting bad fuel. Hopefully you can get it back up and running smoothly again mate 👍🏻

      @@CamdenGardenSolutions Thanks for the reply, I think I,ve finally fixed it, but to make sure I added some "Red Line" water remover and antifreeze (just arrived on the courier) before I filled the tanks.... seems to be running OK, gave it a hours run before I was hit by the rain storm yesterday, just about to try to finish the last 4 acres before the rain returns...today. fingers crossed 🤞

    The only thing with that stand it doesn’t have water comes out further enough to really stand on it comfortably but it also needs to have some sort of rubber on that tray because if you stand on steel trays after a period of time you’ll get right Frieh you end up with a sore back and yeah so bit of rubber on the steel trays probably wouldn’t

    Is this mower good on slopes?

  • @lawnsofdistinctioncentralc807

    Nice video, been through some thick stuff with ours too and it does go ok but needs a few passes like you showed when it's real tall .
    Pretty sure that was the 54 inch too, the 48 is the v548 that said v554.
    Overall how would you rate it compared to the Toro or Gravely?

    • @CamdenGardenSolutions
      @CamdenGardenSolutions  4 года назад +1

      Lawns of Distinction Central Coast thanks for watching mate. It just depends on your conditions and property types toro is great on slopes and cut quality is great ! Gravely was a little slower at 14kph but it also had a great cut quality. The comfort of the husky and the gravely was nice as they have big soft pads to lean into 👍🏻

    Hey mate, did you end up purchasing the Husqvarna V554? I'm also looking at adding one for my business. Thanks!

    The mower sucks dude. I had one for 2 months and sold it. Have to basically cut every lawn twice because it clumps and won’t cut stringy/weed grass. Leaves mowhawks on every pass.

      @@michaellarrick8881 your the 2nd one today that said they chose a grandstand. Is it a comfy platform?

    • @michaellarrick8881
      @michaellarrick8881 3 года назад

      Freeman Lawncare yeah it’s a comfy ride. Most importantly though, it cuts extremely well. Toro has been making mowers for a long time. They’ve Been making the grandstand since 2009 I believe.
