Good review! The steering controls are a (no-go) for me and it needs a 60" deck. I drove it at GIE last year. I liked how it felt on the hill at their booth👍
Well I can honestly say this mower is definitely worth it! Yeah the dipstick location sucks but to be honest that really it I have owned mine since 2018 and it gets used on residential and commercial properties all week, im looking forward to seeing a 36 and a 60 for sure!
Nice review... I'm a huge Husqvarna fan. Yep they need a 36.. and 60. I have a pzt 54. Love it but hate them cone spindels... I need a shout out to Husqvarna please trying to on the husky team.
I bought the Husqvarna v554 2 days ago. I love it so far. So what would you rate the cut quality on the Husqvarna v554? I watched some videos on these mower and some people hate it. I just really do not see how they could hate it. 1st of all the thing is a tank 7 gauge deck. The warranty 5 year 1500 hours. A nice kawasaki fx751 motor. 12 cc parker pumps. I am just having a hard time why some white people hate them.
I am on my 3rd Husky (MZ54, MZT52, now a 2018 Z554 sit down, same engine/deck and ZT4400 drives). I mow several rentals and one big residential backyard (picky customer) with my Z554 and get nothing but praise on the cut quality. I keep good blades on it and keep my speed down for residential stuff, mow faster for my commercial non-chemically treated properties. I demoed a Ferris with the iCD and it had noticeably better cut quality/vacuum especially with wire or Dallas grass. The Scag Velocity Plus deck is legendary especially in wet or damp grass, but no dealer within 30+ miles of me. I demoed a Gravely which I loved, but the cut quality was below the Husky and the price was much higher. Considering the price (I did a 20% NALP discount, same as fleet buyer) nothing really compared to this value!
I love everything Husqvarna. That said.if the oil dip stick is all that's wrong I say it's a good mower. The engine was designed to sit back to balance the weight with hydro out front .keeps them cooler. And ezy access to them. I would love a 36 or 40.. . I don't understand why some people bashing this mower . Seems like they don't like competition..this thing cuts good and is exactly the same as the redmax. Just give it a chance people. Is all iam saying .I switched to pzt 54 Husqvarna and love it. 💘. Husqvarna Carlo peace ✌.. I could fix that oil thing.. just need have kawasaki make a dip stick change in part. .
Awesome review brother! I didnt see a filter for the hydros. Do you know how to service them? There supposedly working on the 60 for 2022 and a 36. I want the 60 but no dealers around me yet. I personally would hope for a scalp wheel on the other side of the deck but overall this machine is Great!
I came so close to going with this husky Wally. I've got a good dealer just 2 miles from my house. Then Gravely had the #MowTheDistance ProMo. I really like the Husky, but the Gravely options just made more sense. Worth the 20 minute dealer drive.
Wally tell them to shorten the dipstick tube to about half as long as it is now, if they can do that, problem solved, I watch all your videos, keepem comin 🎃
Customer service with Husqvarna sucks!!! Pain In the you know what. Not one dealer in the Twin cities holds any parts on hand and for service 2 to 3 weeks to repair. Dumped my 48 and moved to Toro way better service loaners if mine goes down. Night and day difference.......
What does this cost roughly? Was considering this or a walk behind - commercial class - as I have hills. Figured I could just mow up to down on the hills.
You are very professional
Great review!!!!

My man. Yep..

Do you have a video about changing the hydro fluid in one of these??
They probably put the oil there, so you will take in in to be serviced

Overall it looks like a decent mower, but yea...that oil fill location would drive me absolutely crazy

The storage area looks cool
When I think of Husqvarna it makes me think homeowner not commercial use.
Control placement is good stuff , next one show us drain for oil changes engine and hydro if you would 👍
I love everything Husqvarna.

Doesnt look like a commercial mower to me

Awesome video about the lawn mower. Would you like to introduce your local business in our group by the way?
