When you focus squarely on how they treated Ghostbur, everyone on the SMP seems like a complete monster.
I always knew Ghostbur was just a sad character but when you put it like this it just worsens, Ghostbur was such a lovely character and the duo with him and Friend was like a fucking light in the dark and edgy world that was the Dream SMP...
And now? Ghostbur is just crying, in Revivebur's limbo of a train that will never come, burning himself from his tears, as the last thing he saw was Tommy, who was scared and panicked yet betrayed him, leading to his death.
at least he got friend back while he's there
Outside of actual Doomsday, Technoblade's interactions never really felt cold to Ghostbur. Even when the butcher army was making their way to him, he never shouted at Ghostbur and even tried to make sure he was away and not hurt when they arrived.
After his capture he helped direct him to get a lead for Friend and, before his execution, he didn't dismiss or shout at him because of his circumstances.
Very true. I always kind of admire the way Techno, moments before his own death, is still attempting to humor Ghostbur and make him happy.
ghostbur is an underrated work of genius. his story, the way wilbur acted him, his death - all incredible. my favourite dsmp character by far. and yes, such a victim.
his 'life' was devoted to making other's better, and yet it still ended with tragedy.
I have a hc that Ghostbur was sad but he hid it very well. He always said blue started out clear before soaking up sadness yet whenever he gave it away it was already blue, never clear. I think in the background of all this he was crying and used blue whenever someone was around cause he was scared if someone saw him sad they wouldn't want to come to him for comfort, thinking he had enough problems of his own. He wanted to be the staff everyone could lean on, the bandage to heal all wounds, the one that no matter what you did to him or anyone else he would always be there to pick you up. I think the only person keeping Ghostbur from growing bitter as he realizes no one cared or depressed for the same reason is Ranboo, assuming they can see each other. Ranboo's one of the other kind people on the smp as he believes in looking for the best in people and doesn't care about sides so now that Ghostbur is in need of comfort Ranboo provides it. But we all know one day the train will stop and Ranboo will have to go on it. That'll be the breaking point for Ghostbur

Finally someone talks about Ghostbur's pov in the dream smp lore.
I really appreciate it,i feel like Ghostbur sometimes,i always try my best to help everyone and cheer them up as much as i can,but what do i get back?nothing.
All i get is being ignored or insulted for that one time when I'm rude.
That's also why i find very tragic Ghostbur's story,especially the way Tommy kind of used Ghostbur's innocence as his vantage,and Ghostbur was just gone,like that.
It was very shocking.
And in conclusion,this is indeed very sad and tragic.
Also,this deserves a lot more attention,it's great,especially the editing and the way you explained things.

Warden Sam has to be one of my most hated characters on the SMP. Barring *maybe* Tommy, I have never seen any other character whose logic I simply cannot fathom in the slightest through the awful, moronic, incompetent decisions that character made.
-not pulling Tommy out of Dream's cell in order to hold him somewhere safe while the undetected problem is searched out and the prison is on lockdown, ultimately allowing Tommy to die and be revived by Dream
-accusing Tommy of wanting to free Dream (...sir how the fck)
-refusing to retrieve Ghostbur in the time Dream had vanished because "hurr durr what's going on where did he go this is ur fault Tommy not mine I am have smart"
-attempting to use Ranboo as a hostage to keep Dream in the prison
-killing Ranboo when Dream didn't return (losing the supposed leverage)
-dumbly asking Technoblade why he's so mad at him for killing Ranboo, as if "but I had to use him as a hostage to keep Dream, who doesn't give any modicum of a f*ck about Ranboo, in place and then kill him when he left" makes that fine
Ghostbur is my favorite character, and every time I watch this it makes me cry.

when you say it out loud, it really is very sad
I've never thought how sad and deep could be Ghostbur's character. He genuinely wanted to help them and make sure others didn't feel those bad feelings, but yet others treated him mostly in horrible way.
Guys why I am crying
Ghostbur was too pure for the server. He deserved better.

Nope, just wont be posting DSMP content on it anymore. I'd get into all the technicalities and how having them up is actually hurting my new videos, but then i'd be giving content out for free ;) . TLDR they're here for people to enjoy as I'm proud of them, but I don't want them on my main channel :)
