@@CatholicTruth101- James was probably written very early in the timeline of the early church. Most likely years before the Jerusalem council in Acts 15. So God hadn't finished revealing things to the Apostles at the time it was written.
There was a famine in Acts Ch. 11:28-29 and James was urging believers to help their brethren who were in need. That's the theme of his letter.

There's no telling what people might do to be saved. The only thing they must do to be saved is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is amazing to me that people think baptism is to be born again... HELLO!?! Ro6:3,4, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:" Baptism is not the picture of being born again. It is the picture of dying with Christ.

I know you already talked about the "should not perish" in a previous video. But I can't find that particular video again. Just soo many 😅, next time I will save it to my playlist. But how can I explain the "should" as in not meaning "with expection"?
John 6:39 "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose NOTHING, but should raise it up at the last day."
If we "should" perish, if Jesus "should" lose some, well then Jesus has failed to do the will of the Father. So ask them, do they believe that Jesus can and will fail at doing the will of the Father? There are many things we should do, but don't. We should do the will of God, but often fail. However, Jesus always does the will of the Father and never fails.

It's still a sin, and we are all sinners. The bible doesn't support homosexuality the same way it doesn't support adultery, theft, murder, ect. If you put your faith in Jesus, then your sins are paid for, even if you continue to sin.
Jesus can save any sinner or he can't save anyone.

No, salvation cannot be lost even if you live like a devil. Salvation is based on the perfection and completed work of Christ, not on your day to day performance.

So whether you live like a saint or a devil after you have believed and are saved, there is absolutely no way the free gift of eternal life can be lost or returned to God, as you are permanently sealed unto the day of redemption, you are justified and sanctified by the blood of Christ, you are born into the family of God, and God is not a man to lie and go back on His words. He buys any believer with Christ's blood and you belong to Him alone.

The most correct cutting of His word is that between the gospel of Jesus and the gospel of the risen Christ, and are NOT to be mixed because doing so just causes chaos and confusion and brings great joy to Satan. Sinners prayer will make you born again, not water baptism.
Water baptism is more true than the sinners prayer but the only baptism needed today is the holy Spirit baptism.
